This scent is okay. I loved the floral notes in the one, but it smelled like pepper as well. The pepper smell didn't die down after just spraying it either. I wouldn't purchase again.

Definitely reminds me of hanging out in a mall in the early 2000's- kind of a preppy, sporty, sweet vibe. It's too sharp for me to give it more than 3 stars, but it isn't bad either.

Ties #1 for me with Wild Bluebell. It smells exactly like summer at the pool or at the beach. Dries down sweet but not too sweet and the original fresh scent lingers. I'm sensitive to smells, and I am picky with fragrances. This fragrance is the opposite of anything amber/woodsy/vanilla/powdery.

It’s really nice. It doesn’t last as long as I’d like and is a more subtle scent than I’d prefer, but what is there is quite lovely bright and floral. Wish it had more of the lilac note.

Lively and fresh! There is a sweet base note that I'm not particularly fond of, but it's a lovely light perfume to wear around the house or for visiting friends.

I love it. And it seems absolutely Kenzo, although idk how to explain why. I guess because it smells "related" to Parfum de'Ete, and also smells very 90s nostalgia. I think my adult self actually likes this more than de'Ete, which was a favorite for me from age 18 to 30, because this is a bit less sharp and a bit more feminine than de'Ete. But still has that modern Kenzo edgey feeling. I think this is a new fave scent. Smells sophisticated and...urban.

This reminds me so much of clinique Happy To be. Its a nostalgic early 2000s 90s fragrance. Also sort of smells like a reed diffuser room scent. It has a bright youthful spring fragrance that reminds me of being in middle school. this is all to say its a bit unpleasant to wear for me now. It doesnt blend well with my body. It has a grapefruit like brightness with a cucmber note. it reminds me of bath and body works. remidns me of bamboo. it is okay but for now im not feeling liek wearing it

I was really excited to try this one, however . . . I like the scent, but on me, it just disappears. It's gone in less than an hour. I asked other people if they could smell it on me. Sorry no. After reading other reviews, I'm guessing it's just me. Nice scent but no longevity (for me).

A very changeable perfume, feels like it is never the same as I smell it throughout the day. Not my favorite scent but is a good daily option. Starts very peppery and then baby powder scents become more pronounced, finally settling in to a sweet but not strong scent.

I’m not sure what is in this perfume but it’s smells so good. It’s magical. I’m obsessed with the scent and have received so many compliments, including one from my picky son. Love this scent, long wear. Just perfect.

When I first sprayed it it was too peppery for me. I was turned off by the smell but as it dries it smelled good. I enjoyed the soft fruity smell after it was on for half an hour. Then it didn't seem to last very long. I may have been nose blind because I put it on the front of my top but it was so subtle I really had to try to see if I could still smell it. Wouldn't buy a full size bottle, but ill finish the sample sent to me for the month.

A very clean and fresh smell. I want to use it more, but I'm so in love with a couple of other scents that I've received over the last couple months. As the weather turns warmer, this will be fun for layering.

Has a hint of pear. It is not a terrible fragrance but it is on the old lady side for me. But then again a lot of smells are like that for me. I like that it's not too sweet and the description sounds like something I'd like but its not my favorite.

Love this clean scent

I don't even know what this smells like, but it's not a good smell. It's not sweet or floral or fruity or gourmand. It's ...weird. I could buy a designer imposter spray for $5 from CVS that would smell better than this. It also lasts for about 10 minutes, which in this case, isn't a bad thing.

Oof, that pepper! So, to preface my review I have to say I do not know much about fragrance notes. By that I mean I do not know what I do and don't like. When I was browsing for my next fragrance I came across this one and saw all the notes and thought I would like it. No, I do not. All I can smell is the pepper for a good long while. Now when that particular note fades the undertones are quite nice. Again not really my thing, but if the fragrance would have been just the undertones I would've kept it instead of exchanging. Just not my thing.

Reminds me of Victoria Secret’s “Kiss” body spray. It is definitely a summer scent and for casual wear. I wouldn’t even wear to the office. I sprayed way too much at first and it is strong. Only doing a few sprays now and it has pretty good staying power. A fun scent for running errands or just being out and about during the day.

Years ago, for reasons I cannot explain, I fell in love with a Dove body spray called Water Lily and Fresh Mint. After it was discontinued I spent ages looking for something similar and alas, here it is. When you first spritz this, there is an odd musky note. I found that note to fade away almost instantly as the scent settles into a clean, fresh, watery perfume. This is a youthful, beachy scent that is great for warm weather. The staying power is perfect in my opinion. I can still smell it hours later, but only a faint whiff here and there. If you do another spritz halfway through the day, you're set. It's missing a slight something to put it in the 5 stars category but I'm not sure what. Maybe the musk needs a little tweaking. Anyway, if you are looking for a nice simple and fresh scent for the summer, this is a winner.

I love how this dried down on my skin, but it instantly disappeared unless I buried my nose in wrist. This would have been added to my collection if it had any sillage or longevity.

I tried this one on a whim since I don't usually like fragrances with any floral notes and I'm so glad I did! It's very fresh and clean without smelling soapy. My only issue is that I feel like I need to apply a good amount since the scent seems to dissipate quickly. Other than that I really enjoy this one and may actually purchase a full bottle

The scent is okay. It stays on for a long time. It’s a very strong floral scent so if you like that then I recommend this sent.

Staying power is good and it is not too strong. It smells nice, but on me there is a base note that I don't care for. It is fresh with a not so fresh musky undertone. I will wear it, but I would not buy a full size bottle.

It's a lighter floral scent but with a musky undertone. My brother thinks I'm wearing cologne, so it is a bit of a masculine scent. It makes me think of the ocean due to the clean/fresh scent. It also really grows on you the more you wear it.

This is probably one of the freshest smelling fragrances I've purchased.

L'idsey by Issey Miyake? I like L'idsey and wanted to love it but there was something in that scent that didn't make me fall completely for it. Like this unique composition was a little "too" unique. But Kenzo's version is the same type of an aquatic scent but goes on smoother. It smells like the wind, ocean, palm leaves, sweet bananas and delicate exotic flowers. It reminds me of a tropical fruit - fresh, in it's full sweet but tart taste. Really awesome!

I was about 10 maybe 11 years old, it was maybe 97' maybe 98'. I had a friend in middle school - her mom who was a perfume freak had this fragrance. Back then I had no idea who was it by. All I remember was that I used to sleep over my friend's house a lot and we used to "search" through her mom's perfume collection. I remember spraying this and thinking: "one day when i grow up I want to have this perfume too". Later I forgot about it (of course) and a few years later I saved money and bought my first, real, my beloved perfume alchimie. Then I started buying more fragrances and liking the whole perfume world even more. I wanted to become a perfumer one day too. I just thought about this perfume not too long ago. I was like, I remember the bottle but can't think of the name. I knew it smelled fresh, elegant, clean but not like a laundry detergent. It was rather yummi, fruity, melony type of a scent. It had to have some musk in it too. I also knew the kenzo brand and have used their flower perfume. Just never thought Kenzo was also the one that launched this! I was reading comments on this website when I looked and here it was: Le par. Love it and love it again. Good memories.

A rough key of pronunciation would be /LOW PAHR KEN'ZOH/ Hope that helps. Very nice oceanic melon-y fragrance but on me it has no staying power whatsoever. A shame, really...

This is a wonderful Aqua for women. Very fresh! The flacon has been redesigned which isn't illustrated in this site. looks like a old window pane. Beautiful. I highly recommend it.

love this scent! it last longer on me. very fresh, lovely and charming scent. i always get compliments from people everytime i wear this one. love it sooo much. but, can anybody here tell me how to pronounce this? when someone asks me what i am wearing, my answer is just, Kenzo.

For those who, like me, love L'Eau par Kenzo, I bought a new wonderful fragrance that is very similar, but, instead of watermelon, is more similar to fresh cut grass: Printemps, by Van Cleef & Arpels. I'm sure that big fans of LPK will apreciate this too!!!

This is a good scent if you're in the mood for something totally fresh and unoffensive. Not terribly sexy, but a pleasant, clean smell. Would be great for the office or casual summer days. Disappeared rather quickly, though, so be prepared to spritz frequently.

I bought this fragrance because someone mentioned that it could be a unisex fragrance. She was right and I had so many compliments from both men and women. They were completely oblivious that the fragrance I was wearing was L'eau Par Kenzo Femme. I am not gay. Haha. I have the Homme version too which I think, at least in my opinion, is one of best citrus based fragrance for men. If the femme version were a unisex fragrance, it would certainly be in my top ten. This fragrance is just plain fantastic.

I still love this scent so much that I finished up my first bottle and just bought more. This time I got the big bottle. It is so light that you can actually spray a lot on without it being obnoxious. I didn't used to think that it stayed on very well, but now that I haven't been smoking for almost a year now, I can smell it longer. Also, since I quit smoking, fragrances which I used to think were weak, are actually pretty strong! I used to think I had a pretty acute sense of smell, which it was decent, but now it is even more acute. Leau Par is one of my all time favorites.

Paris in the Springtime. I first purchased L'Eau Par Kenzo at the EuroStar train station in Paris and I've been hooked ever since. I'm happy to know I can get it here--does not affect my allergies.

If you are looking for a very fresh watery clean scent this is the one. I got a mini and instantly loved it. It smells like water and fresh air. Unfortunately, as most light fragrances it doesn't last so I have to keep reapplying it. A shame. This is definately a summer perfume, I live in cold climate so i know in the winter it will die out real fast.

I loove this scent. It's so light and pure. If you like Acqua Di Gio style clean marine scents you will love this one too. In fact, the male and the female versions can be considered unisex! Neither of them are too feminine or too masculine. If you enjoy aquatic fragrances try L'eau Par :)

Just a fantastic fragrance for summer -- and anytime you're craving that feeling of a new-born, dewy morning. Fresh, uplifting, very original, very subtle. I've got loads of fragrances, and I seem to give this one extra reverence, just using it sparingly to make it last, which is actually quite silly!! Not the most long-lasting fragrance because it doesn't have those dark, woody base notes, but that's okay: the topnotes are so gloriously intoxicating, I want to keep spraying anyway (which contradicts my comment about using it sparingly, but you guys know what I mean!! Contradictions, thy name is woman. . .)

I'm not a perfume gal. Most just give me a headache but this one I absolutely LOVE. It's very clean and neat. I get lots of comliments on it. Only problem is that it fades rather quickly. Other than that, it is the perfect perfume.

Since my last post, I have purchased the body gel. It makes the fragrance hold onto your skin a little longer. It still fades after a few hours (especially if you have drier skin), but at least not right away. As for the new bottle... I love it!! The "block of ice" is SO much better than that old bottle which reminds me of a cheap drug store perfume bottle. Now the bottle is classy and modern like the perfume inside. L'eau Par is really one of the best.

This is an update on my previous post, since i felt I have not given a complete review. During my first few days with this fragrance,, I had decided that it was a bit too bland, as if the fragrance was missing something. After testing the men's one, I feel that it is a bit too much, and my decision is, too little is better than too much. Anyhow, after a few weeks with this fragrance, it has grown on me, and one can say it sort of 'completes itself', and it is longer-lasting than I had originally thought. Interesting trivia: The wavy 'water' part of the new rectangular men's and women's bottle connect to each other to form a complete cuboid.

I'm really undecided between the men's and women's version of this product. I am an male asian teenager who is quite androgynous-looking (get called miss by accident quite often) and have heard of many guys using the women's version and vice-versa. I currently have the women's version, and have tested the men's one before. The fragrance itself is great. I would have rated excellent, if not for staying power. Will be trying the men's one next.

Love this perfume! I just bought a bottle, and I wish I had gotten the larger one instead. I know this is one of my favorite new fragrances, BUT...does anyone else have the problem of it fading away so quickly? It is such a light scent to begin with, and it is gone so fast even if I spray a lot on all over like a body spray. I guess I will have to get the lotion too. Too bad... it smells so good I wish it had more staying power.

I am really picky about women's fragrances. I am a perfume lover, but even then I only have about 12 cause it is hard to find a scent I like enough to buy. I just discovered this one (even though it's been out a long time). It reminds me of water if fresh clear water had a smell, also kind of green which I love. I am not a fan of perfumes which are too flowery, and although it has floral notes, it is still one of the best out there in my opinion. It works well on me.

I first heard of this fragrance in 1996, while I was in Europe and I fell in love with it. It's very pretty and lightly floral. I now use it in my bath water and it has the whole upstairs smelling like a goddess. Nice and sweet.

although success of a perfume depends on your body chemistry i have never managed to like it even though i am sucker for extremly fresh fragrances ( bvlgari extreme, annick goutal eau d'hadrien amongs the current favourites) this one is too green for me. acres of freshly cut grass with quite a stong flowery note cutting through - excellent on some (especially if they are dark haired) but on a bleached blond with a serious sun bed addiction - not a good choice for me...check out a new bottle though, quite nice

L'eau par Kenzo is one of my favorite ones. I LOVE perfumes I have a collection of 35 bottles more or less. My husband just gave me as a gift a new bottle for my birthday, so this is my second one AND I STILL LOVE IT, I wear it all the time, I fount it fresh, calm and reminds me Spring time!!!

I bought this one many years ago when I first traveled to NY from Europe. I smelled it on the plane and found it fresh and just bought it on a whimp. But I ended up hating the smell on me: too scharp, it made my eyes tear. Not my kind of smell. In fact the worst one I ever smelled on me. But that's body chemistry for you.

This fragrance is so light, soft and fresh. It reminds me of a day in spring in rome...walking and enjoying the sun, feeling the warmth on the skin and smelling this flowery flavor...The world feels easy while wearing "l'eau par kenzo".

Best perfume I have ever used!!! My boyfriend won't let me wear anything else!

I used to like it at first, but it become boring and too plain, soon. Two thirds of my bottle is still full, I don't think i'm going to use it again. It is fresh, that is truth, but it has something of men's cologne. Not very distinctive, and all in all nothing special. I liked the men's version, too, when I tried it in a perfumery and bought it for my husbandt but he hates it!!!

It is very fresh, a real summer fragrance, but it can't be compared with Eau D'Issey. L'Eau Par Kenzo is kind of simple cologne, and L'Eau D'Issey is a much more classier fragrance.
