I love this fragrance --- has a subtle floral scent that I can't place which floral I smell the most. I like floral perfumes, so this was just to my liking.

I am shocked by the "old lady" comments... First of all, you should be so lucky to become "old". Second of all, it's disrespectful to show ageism, the word is "mature." Reharding Hynose, I found it flirty, sexy and vibrant. It's one of my new favorite scents. It smells familiar yet sensual like it's got a secret but it's dying to tell you!

To bold for me

Someone mentioned soapy in their review and I think that fits perfectly. I don't get old lady vibes from it, but the first thing that came to mind when I tried it was carpet cleaner/shampoo! I really wanted to return this one but unfortunately I only get one return and Hypnose gets to stay... (burberry touch will go back). I think my gym bag will be the perfect place for Hypnose, since it has that clean/freshness thing going for it.

Beautiful deep smell, starts vanilla powdery with an amber hint and then settles into a passion flower musk. The combination of scents are surprisingly wonderful!

My least favorite Lancome fragrance. I prefer warm, bold perfumes. I thought I would like this because of the gardenia and vanilla, but to me it smells rather soapy. I'm not saying that Hypnose is a bad fragrance by any means, just not my taste. I could see my friend, who loves fresh, clean fragrances loving this.

I really like this fragrance. The gardenia is sweet while the vanilla gives it a warm, comforting feel. I feel young, sweet, and sexy while wearing it.

This is a very mature scent. I would not wear it to work. Maybe church or a dinner date. I love Lancome but this is not one of my favorites.

I am a Lancome woman. They are just the perfumes I reach for the most. And when I found this little gem that I had not seen before, I was so excited. Firstly, I absolutely love Lancome perfumes. I first fell in love with Poeme in high school and that was it for me. This scent, Hypnose, compared to other Lancome scents, is softer. More romantic. Most Lancome perfumes are bold and mature. Hypnose is more gentle and loving. I was shocked when I got my first whiff. I have worn it everywhere for every occasion. For just these reasons, it has become one of my favorites. I can definitely see myself buying a full size. I mean the bottle is gorgeous. The perfume itself a lovely shade of purple. I'm in love with this one.

At first spray I thought for sure that I'd be trading it for another. On my skin I picked up nothing but the smell of scotch tape. Weird. Then it developed into an entire visual. Eating a lemon flavored cake in a beautiful country garden. Very nice. Smells so feminine and sophisticated. Every time I lift my wrist to sniff, it has changed into something yet again. I've been picking up whiffs of licorice, vanilla, marshmallow, powder, lipstick, play doh... it's one complex girl, but she's soft, warm and very much a lady. On me this last a very long time and most fragrances don't last very long on me. 4 stars because I don't like the opening, but this is a fragrance worth trying IMO.

I’m glad I read some other reviews because Aria on 7/9 said what I was thinking. There was a strange plasticky smell to me when first sprayed it on. But I liked it later on. I’ll try it another time or 2 before I give up on it

This is such a beautiful scent. It's light but has a deep licorice base that makes it unique. I'm giving it 5 stars because of how different it is and how much I look forward to wearing it during the day. It's mysterious and sensual.

After I seen some vids about this perfume online I didn’t think I would like it as much as I do. I really love it it’s very unique for a Lancôme perfume. I can’t really describe the smell. But it’s gorgeous with a tang.

I enjoyed this perfume. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what I love to post about it. It did have a mature smell to it almost an older woman, but I enjoyed that remind me of being a little I’m playing with my mother’s make up and perfume not in a granny way.

This fragrance is underrated. While it can come off serious, it's delicate and very femenine. Though not overpowering, it's strong enough to pass by and leave a small sniff of curiosity behind. My mom used to wear it and I remember loving to smell it when she would come home from work. I'm in my 20's and I love the scent on me. I feel very feminine and sexy when I wear it, it's not like the regular perfume from Lancome (in my opinion), probably one of the best classic scents that this house has.

Don't feel any vanilla, just a very strong licorice smell. Will try again during Winter month, but for now is a "No" for me.

At first smelled strong but turned nice.

I remembered LOVING this fragrance when it first came out. Maybe the formula changed in the last 20 years? Or maybe it’s just my body chemistry. Whatever it is, there’s something that just smells off. Almost like a chemical smell in the base notes. Pretty sad because I was looking forward to this and the top notes are great. But I can’t use this and my teenager HATED it.

The lovely smell starts out like candy. Then the haunting rose aroma lingers for a brief moment before it moves on.. kind of like a forbidden love! 5/5 love it!

When I first sprayed it on it was strong but after a min or so it evened out. I usually don't like vanilla but I do like this. I'd say it's more of a mature smell. It's not really a floral smell

This is my 3rd scent and all of them are heavy, and remind me of something old that I found at the bottom of a hope chest being opened for the first time in 50 years.

I love this fragrance. I wore it years ago and forgot how beautiful it was. Clearly not for everyone and maybe a more mature scent! Wore it when I was young….will continue to wear it.

Love this!!! It is such a unique fragrance that it is hard to explain. It reminds me of a dreamsicle. It smells like vanilla and orange to me. There is just nothing else like it. It probably is not for everyone, like i said, it is unique.

I LOVE the opening. Unfortunately, the drydown is a bit blah and turns slightly powdery on me. It is worth working with the amount I have with layering, but it is very unlikely I would buy a full bottle.

Overall, it isn't bad. The vanilla fragrance is very overpowering at first. Tends to smell a little old. Also, did not last long on me, even with very little activity. Not my favorite so far.

Hypnose by Lancôme: I don’t like it! Plain and simply it smells horrible on me and yes I am an old lady! My favorites are Dolce & Gabana Light Blue and The One Woman by D&G. Hypnose is too sweet smelling a lot of vanilla, which gives me a headache. One of my go to’s for daily wear is Abercrombie and Finch’s Day Break, but unfortunately the scent does not last long.

Nice smell, kinda sexy and warm. I don't think it's for me, I haven't received any compliments while wearing it, my SO seems indifferent to it, and I don't think it lasts particularly long.

I have this fragrance and just love it. The first time I smelled this it reminded me of Easter. It has a very nice sweet smell.

This is soooo different from your average perfume it is like Rumpelstiltskin it will have people guessing what it is! Unless they already know! I will buy this again.

Liked this at first but the aniseed/liquorice smell was a bit too much for me in the end. I would say try it a few times before buying.

I have never smelled anything like this it is okay but smells better after it sits for a while smelled to me like some kind of flower with licorice and powder weird I am still debating on buying but I can see why people would like it.

I agree with Ann's post. Hypnose has great lasting power, at least on me. I got a sample of it last night and wore it today to work. I gave each wrist a light spritz at 9:00 am and at 3:30 pm, can still detect it, although it has faded slightly. But for the first 5 hours, I kept getting whiffs of this lovely scent. It's sweet and feminine and I'd love to get a bottle for my birthday next month! One thing I have to add, I wear a few different scents depending on mood and occasion. I rarely get compliments on them so either no one notices (I do use a light hand to apply), maybe they do and no one comments or maybe the scent smells good to me but not to others! Funny thing is, my copycat Happy bodyspray is the only thing a couple of female coworkers have complimented me on. Oh well, I love fragrance and wear it for me but it would be nice to get positive feedback now and then, if it's genuine. Hypnose is definitely on my list of favorites, compliments or not.

I love this scent. It's one of my favs. It does have staying power on me, not sure why others don't have that experience. In fact, I think it actually has strong staying power. Very Pretty scent.

I almost bought this one today knowing that it doesn't last long enough, but after trying it on I found that after the tops notes have faded I really don't even like the scent anymore. The first 5 minutes are amazing and then it is all downhill Totally anticlimactic:( I bought Prada instead which I find similar and great from beginning to end.

well at first i felt a bit strong, bu it is delicious and nice, the dry down is perfect.

I just bought this 2 days ago. my husband and kids keep nuzzling my sweater because it smells so soft and yummy! it has a creamy, comforting aroma. this is different than most perfumes i would go for (spicy, darks like tabu and cinabar) but i just loved it! i think the anise in it takes it to the sexy notch and the vanilla makes it such a reassuring scent. love it! PS the bottle is very pretty too.

I have started wearing Hypnose on my hair and clothes(not delicate clothes!) cos i find it smells a lot nicer than on me (due to my european diet-lots of onions and garlic) and ive noticed that it seems to last a lot longer as well so give it a try if you have trouble with lasting power, also ive noticed that this frag tends to be a lighter one as the aroma comes and goes (like when youre moving around) its not so in your face as some others but its there.

Hi! Black Orchid is not quite as incensy as Black Cashmere - it's more earthy with a dark floral background. The spices are certainly there, but are restrained. It's really well blended. The opening notes are a bit strange and shocking, but once it settles down it is velvety, creamy and sexy. Totally unique. I just broke the bank and bought a bottle of it, but I think it's worth it! And yes...I could never take a break from perfume (even though my wallet would thank me!) ;-) Greetings from Boston!

I love the vanilla richness of this fragrance but it does not last on me more than an hour on my dry skin. If you are prone to dry skin, you may want to test this before purchasing.

It's really strange that so many others find it difficult to make it last. This perfume is the only one I can truly say lasts all day without any effort. I think it must be a chemistry thing. I wore it for both day and evening wear. I don't know what it was intended for. Better during colder months.

I'm a Lancome loyalist because their scents are always guaranteed to work with my body chemistry and they have a good lasting power on my skin. Hypnose lasts all day long and into the first evening hours for me. It's very vanillary yes, but that's part of the appeal to me.

Hey Barbara - I don't find Hypnose powdery at all. For me, "powdery" is what happens to Chanel #5's drydown; it's what you get with Shalimar, Samsara, and Ysatis (although not as badly with Ysatis.) I don't find that Hypnose has anything powdery about it at all. To the contrary, I find the drydown to be elegant, but not "pearls and pink cashmere" elegant. For me, it conjures the image of a beautiful art-deco white rhinestone brooch pinned at the waist of a lovely black silk-satin backless ball gown.

Almost a year ago I was given a sample of this when I bought a Miracle gift set for myself. I love Miracle - it's my every-day-wear scent, and it surprises me that I don't smell it on more women. Back to Hypnose, though - I really didn't like it when I tried the sample. I thought it smelled like cheap, dime-store perfumed stationary - the kind my great-Aunt used to use. Here it is a year later and at 46, I'm going through "the change." I now love this scent - I can't get enough of it. It smells wonderful on me and lasts all day and into the evening - whereas a year ago, it simply disappeared after 30 minutes - for which I was very thankful. Then. :) I'm thinking my body chemistry has changed and has shifted in such a way as to allow this fragrance to mix well with my natural scent. I get complimented daily - in the same way I do when I wear Miracle. My signature scent used to be Victoria - back when they sold truly feminine scents and not the ineptly named bug sprays they sell now. Yeah - that's mean, but their quality has taken a huge nosedive - across the board. Anyway - When Victoria was discontinued, I was frantic to find a new scent. It took me almost 5 years before I found Miracle - I spent a lot of money and tried a lot of scents - none which I truly LOVED. Miracle filled that bill for me and still does. I don't know what prompted me to try Hypnose last month, but I did and I'm ecstatic about it now. I don't think it's a change in tastes - I think it's a change in chemistry. I can wear Opium again, too - wore it in my 20's - and then, after my son was born, it just stunk on me. Now, it smells incredibly sexy, warm and - well, just plain sinful on me, as does Hypnose. Love this stuff, ladies!

"L" was a a slight disappointment to me, actually, the more I wore it. The vanilla in it smells a little strange mixed with the "salty" background note. It's difficult to describe it, actually, so you should probably try to get a sample and judge for yourself. Imagine having a sweet orange cocktail on the beach...that's what it reminds me of. It's very interesting and does smell good, but not something I would wear very often. It's definitely not like Pink Sugar at all. Try it. Now, Black Orchid by Tom Ford is a VERY interesting, avant garde fragrance. It's extremely earthy with a dark incense-like base that I love. Makes me feel like taking a walk in a moonlit forest with a dark, brooding man. It's very different and not for everyone, but if you like to be a bit daring with your fragrance choices, you might love it. No, I didn't like Armani Code for women very much. It's ok, but not very special - to me. I think I've gotten to the point where I've smelled so many perfumes that something has to be really unique to get my attention. Maybe I should cut myself off from perfumes for a year or two and start over! LOL I still love Jungle L'elephant, Trouble, Addict, Opium Fleur de Shanghai, Hanae Mori Butterfly, and au the Rouge by Bvlgari. I'm also warming up to Euphoria. Gaultier 2 is a recent purchase and is getting lots of compliments from men. I also love the new Burberry London for men (don't care for the woman's version), and Hypnose for men (very sexy). Funny you mentioned Pleasures Delight - I tried it a few days ago and really like it! I've been plugging it on all the boards here, esp for people who love Hanae Mori, as it has similar notes (strawberry leaves...though I think Pleasures is more "robust"). I'll definitely be buying a bottle. I like Pleasures Exotic, too, but it's more green and cool feeling. I like it when the weather's hot and humid. Enjoy Delight!

Nice to hear from you! I have Wish, Butterfly, Angel Innocent and Jungle L'elephant(smells horrible on me, I have no idea what note it is..saffron maybe?) I 'had' Madness(gave it away, smelled like old cherry cough syrup) I also had Omnia(too powdery) and Miss Dior Cherie( wayyy to green and just plain ick!) I have been wondering how the Black Orchid by Tom Ford smelled! I also just purchased Estee Lauders new one called "Pleasures Delight", VERY nice! It's listed as gourmand. Notes include: Caramel, Vanilla, Patchoulli, pomegranate, freesia, sugared rose petals(whats that?), whipped strawberry meringue and some other goodies! Really, if you get the chance to try this one do it! Cant wait to hear back from you!

Some woody orientals you might like are - Wish, Madness, and Casmir (all by Chopard), the original Burberry (in the round bottle), Burberry Brit and Brit Red, L'Instant by Guerlain, Omnia by Bvlgari, Prada, Hanae Mori (butterfly bottle) and Magical Moon, Miss Dior Cherie, Angel Innocent, "L" by Lolita Lempicka, Black Orchid by Tom Ford, and With Love by Hilary Duff (surprisingly good!). One of my all-time favorites is Jungle L'elephant by Kenzo, but it's more spicy than woody. Let me know how you make out, and I'd love to hear some more of your suggestions! Thanks, Barbara

Thanks so much for your reply! I actually got to test it today and you're right, it's not powdery (thank God). Very pretty, slightly fruity/woody oriental. I have other fragrances that smell similar, so I won't buy this, but it's very nice! By the way, smelled the men's version and it is great!

I dont think this is powdery at all. Infact it kinda reminds me of a "lighter" version of Boucherons 'Trouble'. Sweet but with spice. I smell the licorice smell that I get from Trouble but not as loud as Trouble either. This could be worn all year round with a light hand. Where as I would just stick with cooler months with Trouble. Hope that helps. Staying power is okay.

I'm thinking of trying Hypnose, but I strongly dislike powdery fragrances - can anyone tell me if there is lots of powder in this one? Thanks!

This may well be my signature scent (although I like a wide variety). This is the case of a perfume's name and its effect being the exact same: HYPNOTIZING! It may sound silly, but when I smell it it's like I'm drunk on the scent. It pulls you in and envelops you in a sensory world of shadows and spells. One of the best ever.

Along with Prada, Angel, Knowing and Youth Dew, this perfume has succeeded well in making it to the top of my list. Each time I wear it, I receive numerous comliments and questions from people wanting to know what kind of perfume it is.

I just purchased and I love it. I did not like it when it was first launched, but now I love it. I absolutely love Poeme as one of my all time faves. and I really like Magie Noir for evening. This one is good for all seasons. Love it. I have to wait and see if it lasts on my skin or not. So far, so good!

Purchased this today, powdery soft, but doesn't dry down to a yucky vanilla. Some note in it lets it be wearable for summer and for all seasons as a matter of fact. Highly recommend this one. The bottle is lovely also.

it's really interesting how perfume smells based on body chemistry. i think hypnose smells great as well as beatiful bottle. however, a co-worker wears this every day to work and it offends pretty much everyone. very strong and long lasting. not in a good way

perfect for romatic use, the blend metween the pasion flower and strong vanilla is perfect and exotic. This is a keeper.

I like Hypnose. I do not understand why so many others have issues with its staying power. I find it stays quite strongly on me even until I shower it off after wearing it all day. Myabe it is my chemistry. Anyhow the scent is nice, different from most others out there.

This has a very soft almost vanilla smell. It is the softest in a category with Ange Ou Demon, Frank Olivier by Frank Olivier, and Amour By Kenzo. Hypnose being the softest and Amour being the strongest sweetest smell. If you like this kind of smell try these to find the right strenght. I like all personally very much.

I DISCOVERED GIVENCHYS ANGE OU DEMON, THE TWO SMELL VERY SIMILAR, BUT TO ME ANGE OU DEMON IS CREAMIER AND MORE WEARABLE, EVEN SO I FIND THE LASTING POWER OF BOTH THESE PERFUMES TO BE BAD! MAYBE THATS JUST THE WAY WITH THE NICE PERFUMES - THEY NEVER SEEM TO LAST, YET THE OBVIOUS LOUD CHANELS AND ANGELS ARE REALLY STRONG. ANYONE ELSE AGREE THAT HYPNOSE AND ANGE OU DEMON ARE SIMILAR??

i agree...edt is better than edp. i think they smell completly different. althouh edt is more fresh and light it stays on well.

I absolutely love this perfume - I bought my first bottle while on a cruise, now every time I wear it ,it it reminds me of that trip. A Friend of mine always tells me how good I smell. Oh, and a tip for making it last, spray little right below your underam.

Love the scent, the smokiness and vanilla with florals and vetiver mixed. You don't even have to spray it to smell it on the bottle...but if it doesn't last it's either your skin's texture or watered down perfume right? :( So sad...but I learned a good tip that works for ANY perfume. Another good use for vaseline, take the original unscented and dab a very thin layer on pulse points and all perfume grabs onto it and holds! That's amazing and so far it's worked for all I've tested.

Well for me this fragrance has a very nice packaging. The bottle can be used for decorative object; but the scent is almost similar to a cheap cologne that I ever tried in supermarket. Don't waste your money, there are still a lot of better fragrances out there !!!

I read that the problem when a perfume wont last on you is becasue it will absorb in to your skin too quickly, a tip is to put an oil like alyer under it, i tried some bodyshop vanilla body oil, rub it over your arms and then spray on your hypnose and it will last! definitely! the scent cant disolve because of the opil under it!!!!! xx

Ya...it's kinda frustrating when a perfume that we fell in love into didnt last long as we expected (wishing the whole world could enjoy the good smell on ur body). So, why dont u give a try on Burberry London...although it's an old product of Burberrys ..but hey..only the best can be all time fav, right? It will never let u down

MM, It is not you, this perfume broke my heart i fell in love with it, stocked up on it only to realise nobody could smell it, it literally would vanish half an hour after application, i'm now flogging all my hypnoes perfumes on ebay. I had the same problem a couple of years ago with brit, stocked up on it only to realise it doesnt' last. I'm SICK of buying weak perfumes! x

and i said this is a very nice scent and long lasting... but i noticed that when i use this, i still have to ask my friends if they can smell me. well, they dont! i am soooo in love with hypnose that i even got 2 bottles! my husband used to tell me that i should put a bottle of this in my bag so i can re-apply coz he cannot smell it on me! but i can smell myself! is it really like this?!

i was having a hard time to find this perfume. they said its not available in my country. luckily, i got a bottle from duty free. without even smelling this, i bought 2 bottles. i adore lancome scents. they make great perfumes. d last time i bought lancome, it was miracle. my husband loves it. and when i thought i can no longer smell it on myself, i will start to hear compliments again. dont cha love that girls?! well, this hypnose is a very special scent. it makes me happy, smile and special. others say it doesnt last. well, it lasts for me, really! try it ladies, you'll love this.

Hypnose is wonderful! If you want a fragrance that is rich and feminine, but not girly, fruity, or flowery this is for you. It is luscious and sexy, and makes me feel cozy when I smell it. It does have a touch of sweetness to it (almost a cherry-like smell), but is perfectly balenced with more earthy notes to make it sophisticated and very interesting. I've only owned a bottle for about a week now, but have already had heaps of compliments and everyone always wants to know the scent I'm wearing. This is a very unique and complex scent. If you like perfumes that are a little different than the standard flowers, powder, and fruit that women's fragrances are usually made of, then you'll like this. But doesn't have a lot of staying power, so you'll have to re-apply.

I love this perfume but it does not last on me. I even asked the sales person and she admitted that this is a perfume you must reapply a lot to wear it. I will not get it again because of that.

Hypnose has one of the classiest looking bottles on the market today. I just wish what was inside worked with my chemistry. I have done everything trying to make this one work. I think this is a very individual "either it works for you or it doesn't" scent. I've applied it so very lightly but there is a sharp note(passion flower, maybe?) that doesn't go away and after a while becomes annoying. I normally love vanilla in a scent but it never surfaces on me. Blessed are those that can wear this fragrance because the bottle is so beautiful.

Im so angry, how can this be my fave scent yet not last more than 10 mins! i have nver had 1 complimenton this, people cant smell it even though i cover myself! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X

My husband bought this for me last Valentine's day, and while I love him, I don't love this fragrance. It's too sweet, and the vanilla smells artificial like a glad candle. I'm glad I own it, because there are those around the house days where you want to smell really girly. In daily life, with body heat, humidity, and stress it just doesn't help my senses. My favorite scent right now is Kenzo Summer.

I will spray some of my Hypnôse on skin and on clothes and while it still wears excellent on my skin... on my clothes I can smell it for days even a week later... I really love this fragrance :)

Love it.Hated attraction.This one lasts well on me.Sometimes if some fragrance doesn't last on skin, spray on the clothes u r wearing directly as they seem to retain fragrance better than directly on skin.On my skin hypnose lasts and lasts.Five stars for hypnose.

It smells like some kind of exotic vanilla - very unique. L'instant has that same subtle punch. I've heard this described as fruit sorbet smell, but I am not so sure. I think it has moderate lasting power, but layering would probabley help. I too find that although I can smell it, others sometimes can't. Definitely worth a try for anyone who wants to try something totally mesmerizing. P.S. GreekGirl, Hypnose, Kingdom, and Brit are some of my faves too!

I think this is one of the BEST fragrances to come out in a long time. BUT it has the worst lasting power of any perfume that I have ever tried. Layering shower gel and body lotion do not help either. I hope Lancome can fix this problem because NO ONE should spend $$$ on a perfume that doesn't last more than 15 minutes.

Smells milky and creamy but I can't believe these stories about it not lasting! Maybe I'll save my money.

I'm shocked reading the reviews for Hypnose. I think this perfume is just AWFUL! My daughter even holds her arm over her face next to me if I wear it. I tried to give it a chance. I have worn it a few times, but I just do not like it ..and I love oriental scents. I think it smells cheap. Save your money, all! (Nice bottle, though. I'll keep it on my dresser for looks ...and for when the mother-in-law comes over since she is the one who got it for me!)

Try Guerlain's L'Instant. I think they smell very similar, so try it for yourself and see. I love both, but prefer L'Instant.

why why why are perfumes invented with no stayingpower? it's such a tease!!!! this is the best perfume i ever smelt but 10 minutes later-gone! seriously my husband cant even smell it when he's close to me!! it makes me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See this is what i mean, i love the smell but i had never had anyone comment on the fragrance, my husband says he cant smell it after half an hour. Saying that, last night i sprayed it on the hairbehind my ear 3 sqiurts each side woke up this morning and i can still smell it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am noticing that you and I have very similar tastes! I spent an hour at the perf. counter trying various scents which had been reviewed on this website.. was almost sold on SJP Lovely and Gucci Envy me II then decided to walk around. Hit the Lancome counter, smelled this and BAM- bought it. There is an intimacy with this scent that makes it seem like it knows you, and it loves you. This scent holds and calms you with the assurance of your best friend or true love.. Awesome on a rainy Alaska morning!!

I am really impressed with this fragrance but I do not think it has staying power. It is so beautiful and yet I've not received compliments. People say they cannot smell it.

Hi Christine, are you using the edp or edt, cos i have the edp and 2 squirts lasts me all day, but a funny thing happened one night when we were going out for dinner with friends, i thought id sprayed too much on and asked a friend if they could smell it as it was strong to my nose, and she couldnt smell a thing, she even came up close and couldnt smell anything, but i could smell it strongly, go figure. Words cannot describe how much i luv this fragrance, as soon as i think im getting sick of it, i put it on again and im hypnotised, just beautiful, to me smells of licorice and vanilla, also has good lasting power, 2 squirts lasts me all day, also if you like Hypnose you will probably like Herve Leger as they are very similar, got to go now, time to get another squirt!!!! THE BEST! p.s. my hubby also seems to be in a trance when i wear this!

Pretty floral sweet perfume...has passion flower and vanilla.Comes in the prettiest bottle!

Is very sweet but my mom said it's like one sweet dessert. Anyway I like this unique scent but I don't think I'll wear it when dating.

I prefer the (new) EDT to EDP. It is lighter, less sweet, more floral, more luminous than EDP, but still with rather "warm" gourmand-vanilla drydown... I found it more interesting than EDP which was a bit cloying on me after initial spray... EDT is in a lighter-coloured lilac bottle - very nice. I can menage to wear this scent even in summer although it is quite sweet. Staying power is quite good on me, comparing with the most of other fragrances that usually have not staying power on me at all.

My sister and I tried different versions. I went for the body lotion and she chose the spray. After a day of shopping, the lotion still remained with me, but not a scent of the spray. We both love the fragrance and opt for layering w the Hypnose lotion:-)

Hypnose is such a beautiful and intoxicating fragrance. When I inhale it, I can't help but smile. It's one of those scents that when you pass by someone, they'll give you a double-take look and then breathe in deeply the lovely trail you left behind. It's very feminine, sexy, yet refined. It has notes of passion flower, vanilla, and vetiver. Love it!

In my opinion Hypnose is just an incredibly sensuous scent... it's soft and delicate... but yes there is some 'sweetness' to it as well, which I find quite enticing in this blend... I really like it for spring/summer humid-warm-hot weather... it almost feels refreshing to smell it... today is a humid 34C which feels like 41C and I just love the way this makes me think of cool breezes and sun-kissed skin while I have to sit in an office for at least 6 hours... But, the one thing I have to say about this fragrance that will contradict most of the previous reviews is that it really does last... I wore a shirt six days ago and sprayed some Hypnose on it before going out that night... that shirt has been in the laundry basket until this yesterday morning... and when I picked up my laundry to do a wash I could still smell this amazing scent... Today I'm wearing Hypnose once again I truly do find that even after 4 - 6 hours I can still smell this wonderful fragrance... I know that my bottle will soon be empty and that is something to be proud of considering that I have not been able to empty a bottle in over 12 years... LOL

I LOVE this perfume, i really really do, at last i've found my signature scent-i've been searching so so long! As mentioned this perfume don't last long, so make sure you keep reapplying throughout the day!

MY GOD i LOVE THIS!!!! i don't really know where to begin, sometimes i smell it and i think of sweets especially sherbert candy. It's truly delicious, a very foody perfume but not foody perfume as in burberry brit, diesel plus plus,Sensi,which to me are baked goods foody smelling. This is more angel, sweet sugar candy foody smelling. I love it sooooo much it really is addivtive, unfortunately though it breaks my heart to say that this just won't last, upon application this smells gorgeous nad quite literally bursts on your skin with 'zang' then dries down to a beautiful honey soft candy peppery treat, and then with in 1-2 hours just a very faint smell. Oh well!!! just have to bath in this stuff. lol
