I'm not gonna write home about it. I like it. It smells good, but it doesn't particularly stand out by any means. It's nice smelling, but overall pretty average. Not particularly long lasting (especially for an edp). So, it gets a very menial 3 stars. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad smelling or anything, just doesn't stand above the rest like a great scent should.

A long lasting mild scent that is quickly becoming my favorite

Great scent overall and very easy to like. A bit sweeter than I expected, can be a bit cloying in the summer. Strong juniper berry note.

I like the OG coach a little better but this one is still nice. Not the best performer for me, but it has a VERY sauvage like quality in the dry down, which is very nice.

Based off other reviews I fear I may have gotten the wrong cologne. I found it quite feminine. Which is saying a lot because I’ve disagreed with similar takes on many other colognes. Smells good and fresh but not in my rotation going forward.

I'm honestly closer to a 3-and-a-half on this one, but it's not quite a 4, so this rating will have to suffice. There are things I really love about the scent, and there are some things that perturb me. The backend notes are a little chemical-heavy and leave a tingle in my throat that isn't appreciated, but the front end is so nice and sophisticated that ultimately I don't mind. It's a fine scent, and I am glad I tried it, but I can't see myself wearing it again once this little bottle has finally run out.

The leather scent is overpowering. Instantly made my sinuses flare up & smells like old man. I couldn't even use one spray on myself I knew it would stick around all day & never mellow out. Not a fan. Completely different from the original Coach fragrance.

I could not get over the smell of this one. It lasted all day, but I could not tolerate such an unpleasant scent. I thought it would get better as the day went on, but no. Return to sender.

Compliment getter for sure, i would give it 5 stars but it lacks the longevity I like, which is why I spray it about 10 times so I can get aura of the scent for hours. Must have and an easy reach for everydayuse

Smells good but I think the containers they come in change how it smells. Smell is better and lasts longer from the actual bottle. With this one is only lasts a few hours and isn't as strong of a smell. Fiancé loved how it smelled from the actual bottle. From the sample bottles she says it's not very good.

I was actually really surprised by how good this one smelled! It’s a manly scent that is both fresh and sexy. It reminds me a little like Layton by PDM for some reason. For the price of coach platinum you are getting your money’s worth and then some. It smells expensive and you can tell they use quality ingredients vs cheap synthetic alternatives. It has above average longevity and is mass appealing so I would imagine finding someone who doesn’t like it would be rare. Although, I think it’s marketed as unisex, I would say it definitely leans more masculine although possibly with a women's chemistry it would smell different than on mine. All in all I would say it’s worth a big bottle but for sure!

Excellent fragrance, works quite well for me, though the longevity could be better, still for me it works great and becomes a skin scent after about 5 hours so not bad for an evening wear.

I'm a little biased against patchouli but I decided to give this one a shot. The patchouli is subtle. Ultimately, I didn't care too much for it but my wife thought it smelled pretty good on me and that certainly counts.

I really love this cologne. It really gets my girl's attention who told me that I smell good and she also really likes the cologne. It's a nice warm fragrance that will catch some attention. I would say in my opinion that it is a masculine type of fragrance and I know a girl would want her guy to smell like this . I would say where this on a special occasion or a date night. Definitely one of my top five

We have a winner! Coach Platinum is now one of my top scents! It is oh so yummy! This could be a unisex perfume; it is not super masculine. The bubble gum top aroma is similar to Boss Infinity, but slightly less gourmand and more complex. It is slightly baby powdery, but not overwhelmingly so, like F-Black. This is a great gym wear, office and date night as well. After it settles a warm and complex vanilla bean peaks through with just a tiny bit of leather for complexity.

Fragrance is short lasting but is strong to get noticed and asked where did you get that at

It has a sweet smell to it which is not my favorite but gets a 4 star because it does not last long maybe 2-3 on my skin but reviewers did say it does not last long also .

My husband did not like the lightness and how easy it wears off. Smelled too fruity & body spray-ish to me, similar to an AXE bodyspray.

To me COACH and to a slightly lesser extent COACH Platinum are in that vanilla ice cream category where it is mass appealing while at the same time its neither going to wow or offend many people. Its pleasant yet bland profile (for lack of a better word) make it super versatile and an easy reach for most occasions, although I would say its wheelhouse is the office or casual settings. I heard a couple of people mention CREED AVENTUS and COACH PLATINUM in the same conversation and I can kind of understand where they are coming from although I would say this is "inspired by" Adventus and not a clone attempt. For me when I first applied it, I really liked it, it was fresh and clean with a hint of vanilla and citrus (maybe it was pineapple?). My wife likes it (and she doesn't like most fragrances) so that says something and is the reason I keep applying it but for me I feel like the longevity sucks. I know other people are saying it has great longevity so it may be my skin chemistry, or I'm noseblind to the dry down (which I experience with Dior Sauvage EDT and EDP), but after 2-3 hours I can't smell anything.

This cologne smells absolutely amazing the hint of vanilla with a little bit of fruity sweet smell to it and I got it today and I absolutely love it

Coach Platinum is seductive, mildly sweet and has a little hint of what smells like vanilla. Last longs and great smell for all seasons. I sprayed a small amount on my girlfriend's wrist to get her opinion and she said that she wouldn’t mind wearing it. Of course she as well liked it.
