I love this one. It is similar to Molecule 01 or Juliette has a Gun Not a Perfume but woodier, better longevity. I am so happy with this one, I will probably get a full bottle.

I originally didn't like it at all, but as it developed on my skin I liked it more. Definitely a rich, warm, and spicy fragrance when you can smell it. It's very light and doesn't last the day. I wouldn't buy a bottle of this, but if it was a gift that would be nice.

I really like this fragrance. It feels warm and cozy in a soft way. I can't put my finger on the exact notes that makes sense it so appealing to me, but I do like it.

The fragrance is woodsy with some resin qualities. It’s a complex version of molecule 01 for me. I like it but like molecule 01 it’s very faint. It just doesn’t last. Or I stop smelling it after 30mins. And I have asked others if they can smell anything and the answer was no. Definitely not worth a full bottle if n my opinion.

Musky and masculine, I used this whole sample really quickly because I liked it a lot.

My new favorite. Smells like a politician who has his own island. shaking hands and doing high end business deals by day while demanding and getting crazy sex and female attention by night. Simply amazing.

Perfectly Unisex. Bought it for my husband, but I use it for myself, too. He got mad when he saw me using it, cause he wanted it all for himself. Woods, amber, vanilla, with the slightest aquatic edge. It's a bit heavier than what I like to wear in the summer. I would usually give something without florals a 4/5, but this deserves a 5 even without them.

Smells good, my girlfriend can’t stop smelling me when I wear it. Only downside is I wish it lasted a bit long. You get maybe 4 hours

The most delicious woody fragrance I’ve ever had the pleasure of smelling. It smells really lovely. I don’t get powdery, just a soft airy woody aroma. It seems very faint and like it doesn’t project a lot, but will randomly fill a space. She’s interesting.

This scent, which I had found online and was highly rated, excited me until I discovered it smelled like my mom's perfume. It doesn’t smell bad at all, but it’s not masculine, nor is it unisex. If you like powdery scents, it’s definitely for you. I ended up giving it to my mom.

Wow, I am so glad I tried this. According to the reviews, I was hoping that it was like Gypsy Water and it certainly is! I have tried more than several other Bond 9s and found them to be really heavy and strong. This is light, airy and soft. It's the sort of fragrance that you can wear every day for any occasion. True to the Gypsy Water notes, it has balsamic, citrus and vanilla notes. Although not listed in the ingredients I would guess that it also has ISO Super E because it is very reminiscent of the Molecule 01 scent. It has a wonderful trick of being there and not there at times. To my nose, ISO Super e in this type of formulation has a fresh woody character that smells like sandalwood. Also, a nice bonus is that Governor's Island has better performance and longevity that GW!

If it projected more Id give it s full 4 stars. But Id let my husband buy this for me. lol

I don't much care for this Scent. it's woody and Resinous and a bit musky it smells pretty Natural and it performs decently. it's a little light for my tastes but it smells pretty Unique so if that's what you're looking for it might be something you'll like. it's not something Id wear often though.

Amazing unisex scent! Much better than the Tom Ford that I had. There's no heavy woodsy scent like I've found in some unisex scents. I absolutely love this one and am thinking of actually buying. It wears all day! Highly recommended!

Masculine smell

Warm amber and wood. Very fall. Not a huge projector. This one is intimate. This is to be discovered, not announced. Thr woods lean more masculine but it is a unisex scent.

Very sweet and musky. For me it has a very nostalgic type of scent, it's light but definitely noticeable. I can see myself wearing this on occasion but not everyday, since it's not really my style.

Just what I like. A fragrance that stands out and on it's own! No other fragrance that I've tried has it's own character and smells so unique. It's subtle and goes well with my pheromones. Especially when my day gets hectic, it really kicks in and boy, do I get the compliments!

This scent is very different and not for the faint of heart. It reminds my of Chocolate Greedy with incense added. It's very deep, dark, and sexy. This would be a great winter fragrance.

Not what I remember. I feel like it's what my great gmas 80yr old fur coat smells like after fermenting in dry cleaners plastic for 5+ years. Not terrible but def not sexy, or exciting. More like bland balsam and cedar.

I do not understand the reviews for this. I love sexy heavier scents and this is not it. It smells very similar to Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue which I can't stand it. Used to wear it in high school and now it just smells like cheap bad memories.

Smells like woody incense. I love it!

This is a nice fragrance with the notes that you find in nature. I like the woodsy fragrance but it is a bit too strong on the grassy note. It comes across pretty strong at the onset but it does calm down a little revealing other woodsy notes. This is a warm fragrance and if you like hints of incense and enjoy that soothing scent of the outdoors, you would definitely enjoy this.

Very woody fresh fragrance with very decent longevity and mild projection. Would absolutely recommend for someone who doesn’t like overbearing scents. Now I don’t think I could recommend buying the bottle since the price tag is absurd. But due to its one of a kind scent profile it’s something that is quite nice to have in a decant if you want to smell different than everyone else.

Initially the smell of alcohol is the first one I recognize but the smell that settles is quite nice although it is a very quiet scent which kind of adds to the allure of it but at the same time kind of wish it was a little more noticeable

Bond No 9, at least to me, is generally wildly overrated. They're out of touch with the average buyer and their prices are unreasonable. Just like Jeremy's Fragrance One. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would disagree. That's their right. This particular scent is weak to the point of being a skin scent immediately upon application. What little scent I'm actually able to discern is pleasant enough, but certainly not unique. And certainly not worth the cost. At least to me. I don't have unlimited funds and have to choose my fragrance on other factors besides hype.

OBSESSED! At first I wasn’t too sure but boy how it changes! Everyone asks what I’m wearing and where to buy it. It starts out as sweeter, then transitions to woodsy and maybe a bright citrus then settles for a nice rich smell. Highly recommend!

Smells really good not too strong

I was curious about this scent because I love incence so I wanted to try it. I was a bit worried of it smelling too manly as it is unisex. However, I was very happy upon receiving it. I feel it smells more feminine. I really like it and can smell the incense scent. I do wish it were a bit stronger and lasted a bit longer. Regardless I do really like this scent and I am glad to have chosen it.

I took a gamble, and selected this one for my husband, and it did not disappoint. It packs some punch in a good way! While this scent is unisex, I would say that it really depends on the person.

This is a deep incense/ woodsy smell but it is beautiful! I've had so many compliments on this today alone. Pricey for full size but I've found i like a lot of Bond No 9 scents and they'reworth it. It is unique as is normal for them. More feminine than masculine but the right man could pull it off. Definitely more of a cold weather perfume!

The other reviews don't properly describe it to me. It's musky but floral, and very yummy. Probably more of a fall / winter scent to keep you feeling warm. It's definitely a bit more feminine than masculine, though, which I typically sway masculine. All of my girlfriends were obsessed with it when I had it on, asked what I was wearing.

Oh my goodness...this is one of those fragrances that aren't powdery, musky or floral. If you know what true incense smells like, THIS is that scent. This is not for the run of the mill chick. I sprayed it on right after receiving it... it is simply divine. This is the scent I imagine gypsy's of old wore to entice people into their camps.

Did not like the smell of this on my skin. I would rather go with Escentric Molecules 01. It’s cheaper and smells better.

Great bond 9 fragrance. It is Woody yet clean. This is one of those multi season fragrances. I think it becomes a skin scent fairly fast. Good for casual evening wear.

Excellent scent! Clean, light, unique yet bold scent. Definitely can tell this is not a cheap perfume. Compliments my pharomones very nicely.

My girlfriend couldn't stop snuggling up in my neck and chest with this on. She must have said like 6 times how sexy it smells. And then as she was falling asleep on my chest said it's by far her favorite. I'd said it smells pretty darn good lol.

Feel like my mom needs this.

This one was a blind purchase for me. When I first received it I hated it and was really disappointed - it felt really heavy, and reminded me of those incense shops in the malls during the 90s. Then I found out I couldn't return it (they don't allow returns for single atomizer purchases), and I decided to wear it a couple days, since I had invested in it. Well I don't know what changed, but I found myself inhaling the scent deeply more and more. It's warm, spicy, rich, woody, peppery. I can honestly say it's become my current favorite. It was so different from what I expected, and maybe that's why my first impression was so poor, but it's definitely won me over.

I cant understand people saying this is "too masculine" or "spicy" but of course, thats just me and I normally favor unisex scents. I cannot see my masculine boyfriend wearing this since to me it does come off as very feminine but its always different with each wearer. This is my favorite scent at the moment, its soft and I get the incense notes in it - for sure going to be investing in a larger bottle of this fragrance.

I’m a fan of most of the Bonds and this one I love as well. It’s a warm spicy scent so I would recommend for the fall/winter but did receive some complements on it. I enjoyed the scent and it last a while. I personally think I spray myself too much because the .27oz last only 2 weeks with me!

This scent was very masculine in my opinion. It was my first time trying a unisex scent and I think it will be my last. Gave it to a male coworker and he enjoyed it but I just wasn’t for me.

I absolutely love this sent. It’s nice and inviting. It puts me in the mind frame of Juliette has a Gun (Not a Perfume). I’ve received several compliments on it and it wears well throughout the day. The 1st hour seems a little strong on first wear, but it mellows down and becomes warm and musky. I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. I will be purchasing the big bottle!!! This is a signature scent!!!!

First time ever trying a Bond No.9 fragrance and Governor’s Island is absolutely captivating. I’m late on niche fragrances but I’m glad I found them. This is a start to adding to my collection!

The absolute best I've had in a while I love it and get a lot of compliments. For it.

I liked Governer’s Island at first. Unfortunately about an hour after i put it on lightly to my wristt it shifted completely into a very potent black pepper scent. I do give it great props for its stying power though. I just wish I liked it more persnally.

I can't quite describe the scent, but it is subtle, pleasant and long lasting. My kids told me I smelled different, and couldn't stop smelling me. My husband, well...he liked it a lot.

I love this scent! It's different, pleasant,soft, and for me, a little hypnotic. It evokes a feeling from a subconscious memory that I can't put my finger on. I would really like to try some of the other scents from Bond!

All the Bonds are different but Unique.. you dont get these kind of scents everyday. I liked Governors Island but I wouldnt consider it great.. Brooklyn, Hamptons and Manhatten puts this one to shame. If Scentbox cant get the other Bonds back.. I might be done trying Scentbox out.
