Love It

Not for me. I’m not great at determining notes, but this one seems floral and kind of sharp to me. It’s not horrible, but it’s not for me. I typically like warmer scents that don’t have that sort of sharp alcoholic tang to them. I don’t know how else to describe it. I would be okay wearing this, but I don’t enjoy it personally.

Love, love, LOVE! This scent is exactly what I was searching for. Floral enough for spring, with a spicy twist. I can wear this to work or out to dinner and it is equally appropriate. Plus I can spray it a couple of times in the morning & still smell it at the end of the day.

I LOVE L'interdit by Givency! I bought the big bottle! My husband loves it too. i don't wear it everyday (partly cost) since I don't want to get sick of it. But it is my favorite. It has floral notes with vanilla (I am guessing at the notes). It just envelopes you and makes me happy. The only thing I am sad about is that it doesn't have an extra long staying power. I would say it is gone in 5 hours? That is a guess since I have never measured it but when I wear it I have to refresh it.

This style of perfume is for older ladies wanting to go out to a dinner date, coffee with the girls or a date. It smells good and does have a fresh fruity smell but is not a heavy smell, more of the citrus fruits if you like them.

Very pretty but wished it lasted longer. It reminds me of Burberry London a lot.

I go back and forth on this scent every time I wear it. It’s a BIG fizzy grape soda tuberose, but there’s also something that makes me think of cocoa butter but salty? Definitely not for a warm day, safer for a cool evening.

Incredibly romantic. It’s very Jasmine, white flowers forward. The patchouli is not strong at all. I’m not a huge fan of it, so I’m glad that it’s not very noticeable. It’s so nice that the jasmine and orange blossom are so realistic and not at all synthetic smelling. I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a love story that takes place in a night garden blooming with white florals.

I really love this fragrance. to me it smells amazing but my husband thinks its to floral smelling. on that note i will say it's very strong and gave me a headache but i still loved it. because of my husband not caring for the fragrance and the headache i am giving it 3 stars

Spicy and floral. Definitely not youthful though. I did not get any fruity or pear aromas, mostly sweet and spicy. Well rounded and elegant but more on the mature side. Also poor longevity. A single spray lasts barely an hour.

Not a bad scent. Not my type. Someone mentioned grape soda. That is what it smelled like on my entire body. A tad bit different when I only did my wrist. I am using SB to find a signature scent. This is not it for my body chemistry. I like woody floral and did not get this on me. It additionally did not last. The rouge lasts longer but of course has a spicy scent quite different than L'interdit. I tried!

Sweet and Smoky, it reminds me of chewing tobacco. I will wear it in the evenings and see how it goes.

Absolutely love this one. Sweet and slightly spicy. Not too overpowering, but gentle and lasts for a long time on the skin. Sits close.

I love this fragrance. One of my favorites.

I really love this scent, I’d say it’s the perfect fall perfume. It smells like spiced pears, which feels super warm and cosy when I wear it. Sadly sillage isn’t the most powerful, but it lasts quite a long time. Not sure I’d buy a full bottle because of this as I like to wear perfumes where the scent fills the room, but it’s definitely a lovely scent for people who like moderate projection.

Better than I expected. The pear or fruit notes in this are wonderful and are exactly what I've been looking for in a perfume. They come off as the grape smell I would smell in church when they had communion. It lasts at least 6 hours on me, but it can last longer if you spray it on fabric.

Awesome - pure delight

At first I was unsure about this scent. After using it for a few days I fell in love with this unique, beautiful scent. The only downside is the initial spray is strong then it seems to disappear after an hour.

My mom, sisters, and I all did not like this scent. It smelled fruity and almost like incense.

My go to perfume.

This is a very different perfume. I wouldn't describe it as feminine, it's not masculine either, it pushes more to neutral. It's delicious but I can already see that it wouldn't be one many would like because it doesn't have that common vanilla scent or smells like the typical floral. It's worth a try for sure, I can tell you it gives the feeling of classy and expensive.

One of my all time favorite aromas. The floral is heady at first, but the earthy dry down is an amazing combination. I have been stopped several times asking what the fragrance was because it smelled so good.

A sweet fragrance at first spray, the fruit and flower notes are soft but as the hours go by I can smell them softly through the sweetness. The silage is about arm length at hour 4 and went to a skin scent after. This is a date night scent to me, not quite mature or young scent. It’s a classic scent redone to modern women.

Um it's a hard no for me. I smell one scent, just like straight musk. It smells so bad lol. Maybe when I'm 75 years old I would wear it, but I'm 29 now and it's just like strong musky older women scent.

At first spray I liked it but after wearing it for a few minutes I felt like it was a very strong old lady smell. But it didnt last long and in this case that was a good thing.

Love this fragrance and will likely buy a full bottle of this. It lasts a long time and smells lovely. It is a little more mature than what I prefer but I will wear it anyway because it makes me smell expensive lol. I will wear this for a night out or somewhere fancy.

This is a strong powerful punch of hey world I'm standing right here . Its sweet with a one two punch so don't put on too much. Its romantic in a slap in the face way. it is beautiful and floral but that sweetness of grape candy takes it far from quite. It is noticeably elegant, a bit mature for a young woman. I loved it my daughter did not. My husband liked it as it warmed on the skin. Straight off the 1st spray he didn't. But as it warmed and faded the more he liked it.

I did like this perfume quiet a lot. it is deff not for everyone. my mum didn't like it as much on her, but she did like it on me. it has good silage and I'd say it's sweet but also strong like for a boss babe!

Grandma goes to church

I was SO excited to try this one! It’s just not for me. Smells exactly like an old lady Avon perfume. I’ve had a subscription to both Scentbird and ScentBox and this is the first perfume I have rated so poorly. Very mature white floral. If that’s your vibe you’ll love it though!

very strong sillage, good longevity and projection too. it's very feminine and the white florals are really sweet and nice; but only on the drydown. the opening is very much medicinal, smells like grape medicine or currants and takes a bit to settle in and for the other notes to come out. maybe i just need a couple more tries to warm up to it but i'm not sure it's my thing. update: on second try I like it a lot more!! the opening is still tough for me but I love the pear and tuberose.

I really love this perfume! White florals can either be really nice on me or turn too clean and this one doesn’t turn too clean for me and I love that! It’s nice and sweet and last a really long time! It’s been perfect in the cooler fall weather and I think it could be okay in the summer but I have only tried it in the fall weather.

This is my signature perfume. I get SO many compliments on this. My boyfriend loves it and when my I got my sister to sign up for scentbox, she asked me for perfume recommendations and I mentioned this one so she picked it as her first month’s fragrance and she fell in love with it too! She said it “smells SO good!” It’s in the Floriental Woody family of fragrances which is my favorite type of fragrance, and it has mostly white florals which is my favorite type of floral and that is most noticeable during the initial spray. Then as it dries down, that vetiver and patchouli really help to round the scent out and add a lot of depth so that it’s not too floral. It becomes a lot more warm during the dry down as well. There’s also an overall distinct sweetness to this perfume that takes it from good to great and makes it IRRESISTIBLE imo! L’interdit means forbidden in French and it definitely does have that sexy, forbidden vibe to it. It’s also quite unique compared to most of the fruity floral perfumes that is currently flooding the market. Words can’t express how much I love this perfume! I think it’s best worn during colder months, especially winter, and during the night for a romantic date or just a night out in town. The longevity is pretty good too. This will forever be my favorite, go-to signature perfume!

I didn’t like this at all. Smells like something an elder lady would wear

It was not my favorite, but it wasn't horrible. Just not 'notes' that I prefer in a fragrance. It was a bit 'sweet' on me. I love more oriental, woodsy fragrances, and that it NOT this perfume. I'm sure it's wonderful for some people, but not for me. What most people have to know, is their own body chemistry. What I love on me, may be horrible on the next person. In other words, fragrance is unique to each wearer. That's what makes it a 'signature for you'. My son will say he knows when I'm around, because he smells my 'signature' fragrance, which is Euphoria. If that gives you any kind of indication of my fragrance preference. I love the ORIGINAL. None of the others!

I have to say I really love this scent. It has an initial smell of gardenia, followed by a brush of citrus followed by an ending undertone of super soft musky woods. All three scents go well together and marry perfectly without one trying to outshine the other. I would describe this fragrance as sophisticated with a hidden hint of mysterious sass!

This one I got because of TikTok, it did not live up to the hype for me I thought it smelled like old lady mixed with kids cough syrup. Made me nauseous. Again, glad for scentbox that I can trial scents before buying a big bottle!

Light floral scent that lingers throughout the day.

This was a big no for me. I sprayed it on my hand as soon as I got it and it was back in the mail for an exchange the same day. The opening is nice and smelled like grapes which I enjoyed but something in the dry down reminds me of Chloe nomad which I dislike. I will say it performs well. I literally had to scrub my skin and I only spray it on my hand.

So when I smelled the bottle of this I did not like it at all. But I always try the fragrance on myself. It smells so good!!! Its a light fragrance that smells a bit like grape and I love it. I wouldn't want this to be my signature scent. Not an everyday wear for me. But its such a fun addition to my collection. My husband loves the scent and wishes I would wear it more.

This is the first scent from scent box that I did not enjoy. A YouTube video recommended this perfume, so I was pretty hopeful. To me, it smells like incense that you burn in your home. But unfortunately, not the kind you would enjoy. I allowed my sister and my mom to smell the perfume as well and they did not enjoy it either. I’m so grateful they allow exchanges, I will be returning it soon.

I like it

This is one of my absolute favorite fragrances. While it is quite strong at first (I only use 1-3 sprays), I find that as it warms and blends with the skin, it blooms into a unique, sweet, fruity floral with great longevity. Fruity - pears and red berries, Floral - warm jasmine (modern, not too "mature" smelling), slightly woody, and there is something that gives it a bubbly yet creamy feel - almost like a root beer float (perhaps this is what lends to its uniqueness). I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Definitely a winter fragrance. I wouldn't say an older smell but it's heavily floral musk so if that's not your thing, take a pass on this.

I have had my eye on this perfume for a few months now ever since I saw a girl on TikTok say it was her favorite scent of all time. She said it had hints of grape which I was skeptical about but once I got it in my Scentbox I immediately knew what she was talking about but it's so subtle and not overpowering. This is such a sexy and unique scent. I can see this growing to be my signature scent. Get this perfume!

New favorite

A very unique and intriguing fragrance. It's at once spicy and sweet with a top note I still can't identify. It's very sexy! on the right person this perfume could smell incredible, but on my own personal chemistry was just okay. Not mad at it, but wouldn't buy a full bottle.

I love the original version. I wanted to try this and see what it was like. Although it’s pretty different, initially I really liked it. But as it settled towards the dry down I didn’t enjoy it as much. I’ll have to give it another shot, but the original is still superior to me.

So good. It starts out very powdery bubblegum-like in a floral way, and then the vetiver and patchouli come out to play. The vetiver and patchouli make the scent a little peppery and woody. The drydown is a little fresher and less sweet. It stays on clothes for a really long time. I love it. It's not super overpowering.

While the initial burst is not my favorite smell, the dry down scent is so addictive. I will definitely be adding this to my collection.

This is a very floral fragrance. It's kind of almost sour at first. Then it starts to get more sweet and also quite spicy and leaning toward oriental. There's this note that runs through it the whole time though that's almost citrusy - that's probably part of why at first it leans sour. It kind of reminds me of cleaning products.

Very interesting scent. Smells very floral and a hint of sweetness that smells identical to grapes and Grape leaves. It isn't my favorite and I don't see how it's an oriental scent. More floral for sure. Not my favorite as I'm more of a gourmound fan myself. I got this as a sample at Macy's so I'm glad it wasn't my choice here.

Definitely not my favorite Givenchy fragrance. It smells similar to Hot Couture in the opening, but on my skin I just smell grape and green leaves. After a couple of hours it dried down to a skin scent that East too bad, but I definitely wouldn’t purchase a bottle

This is my signature perfume. It is a floral woody with the perfect amount of sweetness. The darker notes definitely rounds out the perfume and makes it more grounded and interesting. I had to have it at first smell and interestingly enough, it’s also my bf’s favorite. He always tells me I smell so good whenever I have it on. If you love white floral and sweet perfumes (but not overly sweet) then you will love this. It is sexy yet classic; I feel like you can wear it both on a date and in the office. It’s definitely more of a fall type scent though. Can’t give this enough stars!!!
