Gorgeous perfume, unusual, a real winner. Excellent delivery although it did take a while so factor that in when ordering to uk, but brilliant value for money and the product arrived well packaged and efficiently and you can track your delivery - I was really impressed.

It is almost as if Creed looked at a bottle of Joop! and said, "Now how can we make this smell good?" And thus Original Santal was born. It is Joop! without the repulsive synthetics, the similarities almost make me want to believe it was intentional.

not ultra feminine (ultraviolet,m7 and versace man i think in purple bottle). long lasting floral and something else kinda scent. very deep as all creed's and imo a wonderful alternative to the citrus,vanilla and tarzan type of scents.

Its not as heavy on sandalwood as Creed's older and more majestic Santal Imperial, but Original Santal is a great cologne in its own right. It has a spicy heart of cinnamon and coriander which when mixed with cedar and sandalwood creates a warm woody sensation. Its definitely not as sweet as people make it out to be (especially when compared to cloyingly sweet attacks of A*Men, Le Male and many of Serge Lutens fragrances which most women like to bathe in). The base is a combo of benzoin and vanilla mixing with the spicy-wood introduced in the heart notes. One of Creed's most complex scents and definitely worth a try.

Absolutely the most horrid rubbish of Creed's mens fragrances. Might be better for a woman in her 50's and up. Not a men's cologne by any means!

I bought this scent over GIT which was a mistake. Although it smells nice and stays with you for several hours its not for me.

This cologne is unique and not for every man. This scent is a bit retro w/ a vanilla, citrus and woody fragrance, but it does not have the "old" man smell. It is a scent for the daring 30 something with class and sophistication. Trust me you will stand out w/ a positive impression.

While this cologne is a copy of Mont Blanc Individuel, I do not have complaints about it, however, I prefer Green Irish Tweed to this one. I bought Green Irish Tweed a few months ago and since I've been using it, compliments kept coming.

I bought this with great anticipation, since I wanted to see what Creed would do with Sandalwood(I have GIT, Himalaya, SMW, Tabarome and Imperial). It was not bad, bit a little bit of a disappointment-I think it comes pretty close(pun not intended!) to crossing the line to feminity, but not quite. Does not last very long. I think it's still a great scent to own, but I expected a little bit more from Creed. Would definitely recommend, but GITand SMW still top my list of a large number of colognes I own and collect.

My expectations were very modest when this one was released. But i was quite surprised that this interpretation of sandalwood was really divine! I love sandalwood fragrances, and this is definitely top 3 in my books. Drydown is a bit sweet however, but it still manages to pull away from being cloying. Sometimes i get an occasional whiff of it during the day, and it is just an absolutely enticing smell, and it actually lasts!
