As a female, I got this to wear in the fall and winter months because it evokes feelings of warmth and coziness. The heart notes have tonka in large quantities here along with gingerbread spices and a fresh tobacco leaf that are both comforting and gourmand in quality without having a literal edible character. A subtle cherry note and herbaceous lavender bring top notes to the accord that hint at a fougere, lifting and energizing the scent. The opening also has a lush red wine-like quality, juicy and bold, toasted vanillins and tannins. As it dries off, it leaves behind the curious scratchy, dry texture of tonka, wispy soft clouds of fragrant pipe smoke. My only reservation is that there is an occasional mysterious, musty facet that comes and goes which I guess must be chemical fixative. Otherwise, this is what every cherry tobacco aspires to be and perhaps the finest qualities might obtain. It is the perfect intersection of bold flavors, texture variations and casual, understated elegance.

4.2 stars. Not my favorite, but my wife absolutely loves it. Not sure how to describe it, but it feels "stuffy" for 30 min, before it thins out a bit. Just feels heavy and powdery during the dry down. The cherry/almond/leather are great notes, but just feels too dense at first. The "stuffy" heaviness is great for the cold, but I'd imagine a scent you definitely don't want during warmer months.

I've always wanted to try this hard to find a gem. It is not like I expected, but it smells unique. I smell more warm and spicy than sweet and cherry.

This is be my new signature scent. My only wish was it was a little stronger.

My first whiff of the cherry coupled with the vanilla did it for me, I was hooked. Smells amazing on me, unlike anything I’ve tried or even noticed on anyone else. I finally found my signature scent.

Lasts a good amount of time but doesn't radiate off of the body. People have to get within 4 feet or so to notice it. I received more compliments from women saying it smelled nice, but men typically said it was a good normal smell for a workplace.

I'm surprised this isn't unisex. I felt like I was wearing my mom's perfume. It may smell great to women but it didn't feel like a man's scent.

One of my favorites. The opening is a wonderful combination lavender and almond and the heart is perfectly balanced with cherry, rose and vanilla. This is a fragrance that pulls people in with curiosity, rather than announces itself to the room like so many brash men's fragrances. The leather dry down sits on the skin for hours and hours.

I really wasn't impressed by this one at first, I actually almost sent it back immediately, but it's really growing on me. The opening isn't all that great but once it begins to dry down it gets real interesting. I wouldn't wear this one out , this one is more of an at home cozy scent for me. It's good overall, and worth a try. If you're wanting something loud with a remarkable opening this ain't the one.

Sexy fragrance!

Wow. Just wow. I find a lot of colognes to be too “loud” for both me and the bf, but this one is STUNNING. It just absolutely radiates a calm, soothing sense of masculinity that is so contrary to the “alpha male” insecurity that a lot of the popular fragrances on the market exude (I’m looking at you, Dior Sauvage). This is a fragrance for a man who commands a room without dominating it- it’s for a guy (or gal, I guess, if that’s your thing!)- who’s comfortable in his own skin and doesn’t feel the need to prove anything to anyone. This fragrance has such a sexy, laid back masculine energy that I can’t get out of my head. It’s not the fragrance of a generic hot guy I bring home from the bar- it’s the fragrance of a guy that I bring home to Mom (and desperately try to keep my hands off of during family dinner!!!). Seriously, it’s just the perfect mix of wildly sexy and calm/comforting... a perfect fragrance to impress “the one”. Obviously, fragrances react different to individuals, but I really recommend giving this one a shot.

Great fall/winter scent. Starts with a bit of floral and spice and the dry down settles into a warm woody musk. For the man with confidence in himself and his fragrance game.

i really like this EDP. it is noticeable to others well after you are no longer aware of it. I take it with me and refresh once during the day and I get a lot of compliments. the cherry and vanilla are apparent to everyone and they comment how different and pleasant it is.

Great addition to my collection and is a must have and is long lasting in summer and winter which is a rare trait ! Oriental Cherry Aroma definitely will get you compliments.

This is officially a new favorite of mine! I tried L’homme Ideal Intense (also 10/10 by the way); they are very similar - Intense has an unmistakable amount of spicy sweetness, whereas this one has less spice but a layer of citrusy goodness. I knew I would be buying a full bottle of one or the other, and the choice was so difficult to make, but I landed on this one. I really love Intense’s spicy flare, but the vanilla citrus freshness in this one is just a little more “me”.

I enjoyed the initial spray and the dry down. The fragrance works well with my body chemistry. I enjoy the hint of black cherry and vanilla, although I wish the amber was more pronounced. I wish the scent throw was stronger, too.

My 2nd favorite, behind the original. Both are amazing.

This is my new favorite. I am a newcomer in designer fragrances, so take it for what you will. The initial spray is powerful and very spicey, and the dry down just wraps the almond, cherry, vanilla, and rose with a light lavender, thyme and spice background. I find it amazing. It brings out some self confidence and turns heads. This will be my go to for special occasion.

I loved this fragrance AFTER the dry down. On the initial spray, it was very strong and had this vasoline smell to it. Kind of reminded me of PDM Herod on the Initial spray. I picked up the cherry once the dry down started and Once it dried down fully though, the almond and vanilla came out and I was in love. Wife loved it too. Very nice date night scent.

Very sweet but smoky at the same time, sexy fragrance for a date night or can be a perfect clubbing scent to diversify yourself.

I like this scent. You can smell the cherry and leather but I wish there was a bit more of a vanilla scent to it. It's strong but not overwhelming. It lasts for a decent length of time. I normally reapply around 5 hours in. The scent is still there but just not as strong so I reapply just so it can stand out. Overall I was surprised to like this scent as much as I did. Not sure if I would purchase a full bottle so I give 4 stars

Great smell just not for me. Last all day but the last thing you smell is the incense. Not of a fan of incense. The cherry in the beginning really smells outstanding. If you don’t mind the incense smell give this a try.
