Smells really good BUT it doesn't last long... you gotta spray a lot on you...

I sprayed about 20 times with the travel atomizer and had absolutely miserable performance. I will give it another shot in the warmer weather, but it did not work for me.

Finally got to experience the hype of the PDM house and this did not disappoint! I definitely get that sprite opening when I initially spray which is so crisp, but it dries down to such a nice soapy clean smell and lasts quite awhile on my skin. I'm heavier on the sprays, since I usually go for freshies, so I had no problem this lasting 8ish hours.

Opening is Amazing. I wish it lasted longer, but I have no problem respirating.

Smells fantastic but lasts about 2 hours maximum on my skin.

Another fantastic fresh scent. Very dry, very clean citrus. Just amazing

The first time I sprayed this, my first reaction was that it smelled more feminine than I had imagined. I was expecting something more, romantic or something more Masculine. Longevity could've been better.

This scent is great but isn’t a unique fragrance. Comparable to D&G light blue eu intense.

It OK. Scent is fine. Nothing great/ nothing terrible. The biggest drawback is the performance is very weak. I would never pay the price of a full bottle knowing me or anyone else could not smell it after an hour. This experience is EXACTLY why I love scentbox. SEDLEY was always on my wish list based on the description but not anymore.

I really liked this scent, but as others have stated, the performance for me was just not good enough, especially to justify the price of a full bottle. It started to fade after an hour. Initially I thought I was going noseblind to it as ambroxan-based scents can do, but it was similar on paper test strips as well. You would probably have to spray a lot of it to get somewhat decent performance so the travel sprayers definitely wouldn’t last a month as claimed. From what I understand though, older batches were weak and it was recently reformulated to have much better performance, so possibly scentbox is sending out samples from an older batch?

This fragrance was love at first sight for me. It's citrusy, minty and surprisingly long lasting on my skin. Projection is good, it's airy and has an interesting transition with the lavender and ambroxan. I just wish the musk/woody base was more prominent on my skin. I will miss this fragrance.

Smells nice. Didn't last on skin or project well as others have claimed. That was a disappointment. But I do like the scent.

Love the sent kind of reminds me of aftershave in my barbershop. Smell incredible, and it's underrated from this brand. It more of a unisex rather for men thought. I rate it a 4.5, but more of a 5 then a 4.

Beautiful citrus scent that can be worn to the office or during the daytime. A little too "bright" for the evening. I see this as unisex (husband and I(female)) both wear this without any issues. Not husband's favorite but it has great DNA.

Never smelled a fragrance like this before! Smells like a minty fresh and citrus soda. I do like the scent however I’m not sure if I can pull this off as I am a female that enjoys men’s fragrances and it sometimes gives me vibes for a more mature man. I’ll give it time to grow on me and it seems like an easy scent to wear!

A nice, fresh mint scent that would work best in warmer weather. Easy to enjoy, but not mind blowing.

Initially on first spray the scent reminds me of a coke or Pepsi. It also slightly reminds me of CK obsession but now as strong. It last for hours on my skin but the scent stays close to the skin. It’s a nice spring/summer scent

It smells very good and will be ideal as the weather gets warmer but it's not as interesting or as special as Layton or Carlisle. It's basically minty citrus but it's different parts blend together too well and it comes off as 1 note and lacking nuance. But again very pleasant and it reminds me of Chez Bond which is also very pleasant, fresh, musky, and warm weather appropriate.

Fresh mint and citrus, smell somewhat like Versace Eros.

At first I thought it was a very light scent. Definitely grew on me. Love this scent. Very refreshing on a hot day.

Love how fresh Sedley smells and it last all the way through a hard workout or a day on the golf course. This is my new go-to warm weather fragrance.

Absolutely adore this scent. I got it for my boyfriend to use, but it's honestly unisex. Very fizzy opening, almost like a carbonated drink. I think the mint must be what sets this apart from other fresh fragrances, because I normally find citrus fragrances a bit boring, but Sedley is so unique and indescribable, almost nostalgic. It reminds me of rainy days in Scotland. Lasting power and sillage is pretty good too.

It smells good but nothing special really. It’s my least favorite pdm so far. It’s just a kind of generic smelling. It would be good to wear if you were doing physical activity, but not something that you’d wear to try and impress someone

I love this scent! Possibly my favorite from PDM. It smells similar to Under The Lemon Trees from Maison Margiela. I wish longevity was a little bit longer. I heard that it was recently reformulated for the better. Maybe after latest reformulation longevity was improved.

Delivers as advertised. You smell like a bundle of citrus. I wish it was a little strong/lasted a little longer.

This is awesome! The best smelling fresh fragrance I’ve smelled so far. It’s a little sweet, and ever so slightly fruity. Unfortunately it lasts as long as the most recent Aventus batch. I get 5 hours then it’s just sitting close and more of like an airy ambroxan scent. I tried reapplying but then the scent annoyed me. So I see this fragrance as something you use when you’re going out. Or at least me personally. Wearing to the office I can only enjoy half of the day. Haven’t tried cycling with it yet though so we’ll see.

Masculine. Fresh. Long lasting. Never had any Parfum DE Marly before now. Looks like I'm going to be a collector / long time customer. Would definitely recommend

Smells like something a rich arabic man would wear, personally not for me. I’m not sure if this is the newer or older version

I've sampled a few PARFUMS DE MARLY and really enjoy them. This is no exception, but I'd still give it 4.5 out of 5 rather than a full 5. Great open, very fresh, but still deep/complex. Dry down is fine, turns a bit more generic, but still nice every time I catch a whiff during the day. I'd be happy with it as a gift but not something I'd purchase myself.

A little too heavy

So I finally learned the difference between Eau de Toillete and Eau de Parfum. So An Eau De Toilette typically contains around 8-15% fragrance oil which lasts around 4-6 hours, in comparison to an Eau De Parfum which typically contains 15-30% and can last up to 8-10 hours. I once bought a Louis Vuitton Mens parfum and that bottle lasted a long time. Anyway YES I recommend this fragrance for a young mature male, and if you have just the right amount on you'll most definitely turn some heads. TRUST ME!!

This fragrance has a very nice smell. I like the initial smell and the Dry down. I would have rated higher if it had more protection and longevity.

After spending a lot of time exploring Parfums De Marly Sedley. This is my personal views, which may vary to yours. I hope your review is similar. You may have heard about the price of this brand. Perhaps you think its just "hype". This "Sedley" release from Parfums De Marly, is in my humble opinion worth every bit of its price tag. This fragrance is everything I've ever dreamt it would have been and beyond. I will be saving up for a full sized order. This could also be the start of a obsession for Parfums De Marly Sedley! Enjoy.

Did not like at all.

Class. That’s the best was to describe this citrusy cologne. From the first spray to the end of the wear, you just smell top of the line ingredients. The longevity isn’t beast mode but 8hrs isn’t out of the question. Great stuff.

Sedley is a must have for the warm spring/summer months. This fragrance is very fresh and citrusy, and the people around you will love it for sure. I get compliments every time I wear it, just spray a few extra times if you want extra longevity. 9/10

My new all time favorite scent!

I love it. It does remind me of Coca Cola In a way. Some may think that's a bad thing, but it worked well for me. I really enjoy this one.

Great summer scent! It's lasts like any other summer citrus fragrance though. I do like it, but for the price tag, I'd prefer a Roja Parfum Cologne.

Smells like an old man to me. Wood or leather and weeds essence mixed

If you have to choose between this one and Greenley, definitely pick Greenley. It's a good woodsy, fresh fragrance, but while it's better than Percival, it's not as nice as Greenley.

This Like any other fragrance effects relies on your body chemistry. I found that this scent held true and that for my body chemistry lasted 8 hours + some. Its a very manly scent with a touch of sweetness. This is one to wear on first date or a romantic night out or even just a night out trolling LOL. when you smell this it screams sexy. When I smelt this on myself for the first time I thought "I would F@#k me right now" that being said I did let a friend try this and the sent last about 4 hours it had a vanilla sugar smell on him. I had to ask him if he has washed the sent off him, and put something else on. So yes I would stress that your body chemistry plays a huge factor with this sent. That would explain why you see so many different reviews on this sent. As for me I love it nothing but five stars for me.

It’s good not long lasting

Parfums De Marly has become one of my new fav cologne brands, much like Roja Parfums a couple of months ago. However, just like Roja my initial excitement to try another cologne from the brand may be short lived. Not that I don’t like the scent, but it’s something that I would never see myself dropping a lot of $ for a full size bottle. I also feel like this particular cologne wears off a little quicker than the previous PDM cologne I tried. Once it settles in (after 20-30mins) it loses what I really liked about it and blends in with the majority of the $60-$70/bottle run of the mill colognes. But for the monthly subscription cost, it’s def worth adding to my Scentbox collection.

Nice clean scent!

Smells like spearmint and cola on initial spray but on drydown smells like Jovan musk. Not a good thing. Absolutely terrible and being exchanged.

I was very underwhelmed. Yes, I can say that the notes are clear and distinguishable which typically is a sign of high quality for me. Yes again, it's a great fruity and fresh opening that last about 15 minutes ... dries down to a mint/woody scent (smells like my mother's pocket book - lipstick and and open pack of double mint gum or even better, the Macy's fragrance section nearing closing which is a culmination of stale scent leftover ). This definitely does not meet the price tag. From the ratings, I thought I would be inspired to use up in 30 days and possibly buy this; however, Nope!

Comes off very synthetic. It's a nice scent, but there are plenty of other nice scents available for much less money. I like other PDM fragrances, Herod and Layton Exclusif, but would have to pass on Sedley.

Alright so I have smelled majority of the Parfums De Marly fragrances and this one comes up very short in performance from the others for me which is my overall reason for the 3 star review. I got a solid 4 hours sprayed on clothes, 1 hour of around half an arms length of projection. But there is no reason at all to waste niche fragrance money on something that doesn’t perform that well when you can buy designer fragrance that last longer than this. Don’t get me wrong I think this smells extremely nice, very fresh and overall good scent. I genuinely enjoyed the scent when I could smell it, definitely geared more towards the summer. The notes in this are somewhat hard to pick out individually, nothing prominent to my nose besides undefined mild citrus, slight woodiness, and mostly musk. My least favorite from the house hands down, would not suggest for someone who doesn’t carry their scent sprayer with them as you will have to reapply. For the overall price of this fragrance I absolutely do not recommend purchasing since the price/performance is lacking for me. Like I mentioned before if I’m spending niche fragrance money, I want my fragrance to last 10+ hours despite the season.

I love this scent. The opening is mint and citrus. The dry down is the same as the opening on my skin. Maybe 2 or 3 sprays and lasts all day. The mint in this scent is more than likely spearmint.
