I have worn the regular Idole for two years and I love it, this is a harsh old lady smell so much so I thought the perfume had gone bad or was old when I received it. Tried it a few times but it always harsh and always like an elderly grandma's closet.

I will be buying the full bottle of this. So feminine and fresh and smells like money.

Ok scent. Nothing really stands out to make it different than other scents to me. I would not buy a full bottle.

It's definitely strong in the beginning, but tones down nicely. It's a long lasting perfume and, unlike the others, I didn't feel like it's "grandma-ish".

A spicy floral that lasts a long long time on skin. Not my favorite as the rose is very strong and can lean towards old lady. Once it fades the scent is more inviting.

Definitely too old for my taste some thing my grandma might wear. Lasted a long time which is normally good for me but not in this case.

Powdery... not too bad tho

I love this scent…. Although many say it’s mature, it’s not to me. Maybe it starts off strong but it dries down to a nice floral scent. It last for several hours. I think it’s worn off and others still smell it…. I get lots of compliments.

Even though some find this mature. I do not lol, to me it's a floral, warm, slightly powdery(but just the right amount not too much), & it's just so pretty, comforting, and elegant fragrence. I LOVE the entire idole like b/c there is something for everyone within the line and for every season/occasion. They have OG idole which is beautiful & fresh/floral, this intense a semi mature floral, warm fragrance, idole now(my fav) sweet, floral. They have nectar a syrupy, floral rich frag, and Aura, a warm summer like scent. Great line, well done lancome!

This scent is definitely something my 75 year old grandma wears. Not bad but definitely mature. I scrubbed it off my body and I still smelled it all day lol!

I didn't care for this fragrance. It reminded me of CK Euphoria but less fruity. I like and already own Euphoria so I exchanged this. I'd describe this as perfumey and mature. I haven't liked any of the Idole fragrances.

It's okay, but too floral for me. Gets better as the first spray tones down. Then, the scent becomes softer.

I tried Idole Aura and Idole Necter. Can’t decide which of the two I like best. The intense is definitely the darker family member. I love it too., but prefer the the others over it.

Not my scent. Definitely has a musky tone, reminds me of a grandmother’s scent.

Not for me. I REALLY wanted to love this fragrance, but it reminded me of soap... not in that so-fresh-&-so-clean sort of way. The smell is intense from the first spray, and the die-down, though better was still too much. Perhaps it just didn't work with my body chemistry... who knows. I love everything in this fragrance, separately, but apparently not all together.

Too strong and in my face. Very musky and spicy for me. At first I liked the initial scent but the dry down is not for me. If you like the scent, the longevity is incredible though.

It smells clean and pretty. It lasts a long time on clothing. I like it better on the skin though because I like the bottom notes best. I do not think it smells like an old lady or an old church lady. I really don’t like when people use those words to describe a perfume that isn’t from bath and body and smells like fruit only. It’s definitely not a child’s perfume, it is however great for a full grown woman.

It is loud in the wrong ways and too old fashioned for my liking. Glad I tried it though.

First spray was overwhelming but it dried down to a very pleasant scent. I wished it lasted a little longer on my skin. I’m on the fence with getting a full bottle. Will test it out a bit more.

It was a sexy scent

This isn't one of my favorites, but I do still like it. A bit overpowering at first. I can see why others love it so much, just not so much for me.

Very strong on the rose and long lasting. I like rose in the background but not as the main scent. As gourmand is my preference this is not something I would wear.

Love this fragrance. It isn't overly floral and has a nice musk undertone that I adore. I will definitely purchase a full size bottle in the near future.

Only word that comes to mind is matronly. It's not necessarily a bad smell just very mature.

Glorious! So sexy and radiant. Deep floral notes balanced with an earthy finish. I adore it!!

I cannot get enough of this. I'm even wearing it to bed because I want to keep smelling it. By the third wear on the second day I bought a full bottle. It is a juicy luscious jasmine surrounded by a canopy of transparent rose.

Good strong smell... just not as floral as I was expecting.

Eh…it smells pretty good. It does have some depth and darkness to it that I like. But it doesn’t last long.

This a beautiful fragrance. You really want to let this one sit on the skin for a few minutes, as the initial spray can be overwhelming. While everyone talks about getting a lot of orange, I primarily get a warm vanilla floral with enough musk to make it really interesting. Love it.

Very strong fragrance. It's not the type of scent I usually go for. It is a little too mature smelling for me.

I really love this perfume. As compared to the original, I think I love the original more but I would purchase this in a full size. It is more 'Intense'. Alot of orange. Very warm and seductive. You can definitely tell this and the original Idole are related.
