I LOVE Light Blue....this release of Light Blue Forever does offer something different. Do not order if you love the warm/fresh/summery scent of Light Blue. This is a more floral fragrance, it's not powdery but it does lay different than when first applicated, and I do not love it but I do appreciate it's variety. It was definitely a spring/summer fragrance. It wore down nicely, I did not think it was "old lady"-ish or that it smelled badly at all!! I liked it, but did not LOVE it.

I love the top notes, however they last for mere seconds before transitioning into the middle floral notes. They're very pleasant, but i would have greatly preferred if the top notes could linger longer. Also it's longevity leaves a lot to be desired.

This is like a musty version of the OG Light Blue. The mustiness fades after a while though and then you're left with a cleaner smell. Like most state however, it doesn't last long. You're probably better off just getting the original Light Blue.

I'm not sure how I feel about this fragrance. I love so many in this fragrance range. This one smells like a fancy milled soap. I don't smell any citrus at all. My nose only picks up florals. It's not terrible and I plan on keeping it and maybe layering with the original. I am going to try it on a hot day to see if I like it better.

I was excited to get this one because I had heard so many good things. And I have had other D&G Perfumes that I loved. When I got it, I couldn’t believe how much I did not like it! That’s not accurate actually. I didn’t just not like it, It was horrible to me! I get 2 scents a month and have had my subscription for 8 or 9 months now. I’ve only received 2 I truly did not like, This is one of them. I had glanced at the fragrance families used and saw floral and citrus, which I both like. But upon further reading it says the ending notes are cedar and cashmere. I’m assuming it’s those notes that ruin it for me. They are suppose to be the final/ending scents in the fragrance but they bombarded all the floral and citrus ones.
