My favorite!!!
Really like this one. Not overpowering but staying power is good.
I wanted to like it, but I couldn’t. It smells like mothballs to me.
Very strong I feel like I still lingers the next day even after showers
It starts out aggressive but smoothes out as time goes on and lasts a while. Not an everyday wear
Too strong for me
This is my all time new favorite scent I get so many compliments on it when I wear it
Very nice scent.
I would not purchase this fragrance because it is just the smell is too strong for me. I think it may be a fragrance for colder months of the year and an evening fragrance. I prefer Juliette Has Gun Not a Perfume.
I love Juliette has a gun, this was a new sent for me. It is a little strong, a little goes a long way.
While I do enjoy the smell. It's not an everyday wear. A little to loud to wear everyday. Also, the longevity seems shorter then most perfumes from this company.
Very strong smell, lasts awhile. I think this smells good but not something I would purchase. Maybe it will grow on me. I think this is great for cold months in the evening. Like sexy date night type of scent.
Great unique scent from first spray to the dry down. The scent doesn’t last all day, but lasts a few hours. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments.
Nice Fall fragrance from one of my favorites. Long lasting. Nothing beats the original though.
It starts out smelling exactly like lipstick and leather, but dries down to a halo of soft violets that lasts hours.
Beautiful scent - 5 hours later I was still getting whiffs of it
Not very impressed. It didn’t smell at all like I hoped it would as it was a little “loud” for my taste.
I was so excited to receive this scent. It’s more than I had hoped for. It’s long lasting without being overpowering.
So far I've loved all of the Juliette Has a Gun line.
This is a beautiful iris scent through and through with some raspberry to give it some oomph and brightness. It is not sweet. It has an earthy edge from the iris and the woody notes It's pretty without being powdery. Appropriate for all ages, but probably more 25+ leaning imo. It definitely stands out from the crowd. If you like iris give it a try.
I haven't come across a perfume from Julitte has a Gun that I haven't liked. I dont know of this is a favorite, but it was exactly what I thought it would smell like.
Its okay, I feel like it smells like cherry chapstick..
The smell is ok. Its not my favorite smell
I don't like it at all. I'd rather not say what the smell is between the original spray and when it's washed off!! Chemistry?
I don't like this scent. I got it because it is a good brand and a fall fragrance. It is also supposed to have vanilla scent. However, it does not come together well. I can't pinpoint what it is but it has something about it I really don't like. Maybe some of the woody notes? Good news is I can't smell it long after applying... which is normally a bad thing
Not a favorite. Rather blah.
Love it !!!
I love this one
Really liked this one. Trendy upbeat fragrance.
I loved this smell, it’s sweet but not overpowering and now powdery either.
Great work smell!!
Wasn't the scent for me, I like lighter scents. Very strong
The scent is nice.
Nice clean scent.
I thought I was going to love it because I really like the lipstick fragrance profile, but it didn't work for me. There's an off putting note in the beginning that I don't really like. It's something very chemical that my son says it reminds him of paint. It calms down as the fragrance dries down but it's not something I crave. Probably not a good fit for my personal chemistry.
Love the smell only thing it doesn’t seem last very long. I like the fragrance very much.
I was eh about it but my husband despised it.
I really like this one.
Smells amazing & lasts a long time.
Very reminiscent of makeup powder and lipsticks! Not an easy wear, but an interesting scent profile.
Didn’t care for it at all
Did not like this at all it was like a sweet powder and then in a few minutes nothing
It’s for someone older, as it’s not strong at all and it doesn’t have a sweet or spice scent to it. Something for an office worker.
Didn't like it when I first put it on but as it settled I liked it more. It's not my typical choice in perfume smells.
Exchanged. Too powdery and mature
Lovely fragrance with an outdoors scent
It’s hard to describe this one. At first I didn’t even smell it on me, but once I did - all I got was powder. Not horrible but agree with the rest, there’s nicer things out there
It's fine, just not one of my favorites. I got more floral
The smell was potent , stung my nose and could not cleanse my pallet of the overwhelming smell. Zero stars
It was an ok scent I smelt more alcohol than lipstick
Such a lovely powdery lipstick fragrance. I really enjoy this one. It kinda gives a sweettart vibe in the same way that Jimmy Choo Iris Crush does. But Lipstick Fever has a slightly woodsy base and Irish Crush doesn't. 4 stars because longevity could definitely be better.
I was excited to try this because I love makeup scents and was hoping this would be a more accessible erosion of Lipstick Rose, which I love. Sadly, no. I think it’s the violet I love in Lipstick Rose, vs the iris here. After I tried this, I read a review that said the iris in here is like cooked carrot, and that’s spot on. Another likened the fragrance to Dr. pepper, and I agree with that. It’s a unique fragrance—maybe for a reason. Smelling like Dr. Pepper and cooked carrots isn’t something that I’m looking for. Thanks to Scentbird, I can continue the search for something I like better.
I wish I could buy this in a larger form from here. It smells so good! I mix it with “Mmmm” and *chefs kiss*!
I love lipstick scents but something about this is off putting. I can't wear it.
I really like this scent, at first it is a bit too potent for me but once it settles in it becomes this warm, feminine scent that isn’t too overpowering while still being noticeable.
It’s not at all what I expected
This is one of my favorites. It has a sweet, warm waxy scent.
The lipstick part of this perfume plays around in the background, but only for a short time. The rest is just a strong, nose-burning ambroxin bomb. I’m not really a fan of ambroxin, but I like the waxy lipstick smell.
It almost has a manly smell, like a man’s scent that draws you. I think it is wonderful. I used to have a problem with scents that would not mix well with my chemistry. All of mine have been so great! I love Scentbox!!!
A little too sweet, and youngish for me - but overall smells pleasant and nice. Again - super sweet
Smells like old lipstick . Have you ever been given a lipstick as a kid from a mom or grandma and it has that distinct old smell? Yep, that’s ur perfume. I can’t stand the smell of it on my lips! Def hate it as a perfume ! Not sure what I was expecting , but not that.
The name is true to its scent. It actually DOES smell like lipstick… with a softer, sweeter twist. It dries down beautifully and leaves a gentle fragrance. I love sweet/ gourmand scents, but this one is just a tad bit too mature for my tastes. I gave it to my mom, and she loves it! Long lasting.
Smells amazing
I did not like this when I first put it on, but once it had settled in, I thought it was delightful. Soft and very feminine, but not cloying. Notes of florals and fruits, balanced with something else so it's not too sweet. Also fairly long-lasting, but you will need a late afternoon spritz.
I actually really liked this scent. But it didn't last long so I ended up using the entire thing in 2 weeks.
Not the best and not the worst. It’s ok.
Strong, lasts, feminine & one of my favs
Just not into it.
It’s smells really good but it’s very strong.
Pretty smells like old times lipstick in the best way and the stuff down is gorgeous
Meh, not my thing.
Not a bad fragrance. A bit strong for me but it’s not terrible.
The smell is fine, but it's SO overwhelming when it is first sprayed that it's off putting.
Definitely way to strong and the smell is just overwhelming power . Definitely will not get this again . I wish I could have had a different fragrance instead of this one .
Something different. Not just another floral. Very vintage and even grandma ish at first but mellows out nicely. Exactly what I thought it would be. Not for everyone. But I love it.
Not my favorite. I hate to sound like a snob , but the best way to describe it is “cheap” and something I may have been attracted to as a teen in the 1990s.
More like Grandma Fever. Nothing against Grandma's but the smell is definitely overpowering and reminiscent of that lingering smell after kissing your grandma or your great aunt who leaves lipstick on your face. Maybe that's why it's called Lipstick Fever. I found the only sense that are good from this particular brand are the Not A Perfume and Superdose. Everything else is a hard pass.
Didn’t not like. I was expecting something close to Not A Perfume.
Strong scent faids some
Had high hopes but this scent is horrible
It smells okay at first but definitely has the baby powder scent almost immediately after. And it doesnt last at all :(
It smells nice at first but after it's sprayed it reminds me of baby powder. Just wasn't the scent I was looking for.
Definitely not my favourite! I usually like this brand. I don't like this one!!
This is definitely a wear around the house or to run errands perfume. Strong initially so allergy prone and sentiment beware. Fades out to soft after an hour. It's not gourmand to be worn on a date or night out. And at the same time not exactly light enough to be office work appropriate. Day time wear especially if you're going out in the sun is a good fit for the feel of it.
Light scent doesn't last long
Smells a little too mature.
It smells delicious. Like a lipstick, if that’s what you’re into? My only complaint is it doesn’t last too long.
Not my favorite had a medicine alcohol smell. Gave it away
There's notes that I really like however it's musky not in a good way but more mature musk. As a late 20s person, I don't feel it suits me. The scent dissipates pretty quickly on me. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. Maybe i'll try to layer with another scent.
It just didn't smell that good to me. I don't hate it but I don't like it and I don't get the urge to wear it.
Very subtle but nice scent a few coworkers enjoyed the fragrance as well and complimented
I normally love Juliette Has A Gun but this one really misses the mark for me. It's not a terrible scent but it kind of smells like a perfume with toothpaste as a base note. Maybe it's the patchouli. I certainly don't hate it but it's not on par with their regular smells. It is however very light and easily wearable all day if the scent were to appeal to you. Very easy to wear to the office.
I've found I'm fairly picky when it comes to perfumes but this one was such a nice discovery. I had high expectations due to great reviews across many different platforms (not here) and was not disappointed! A rarity. As with many JHG fragrances, they're a bit difficult to pinpoint notes and explain. Lipstick Fever evokes that endorphin release of serotonin and the scent of when you walk into a nice department store. That sensory overload (in a good way). The new clothing on display, perfume samplers, and cosmetics to be tested. You can smell the sweet, almost waxy cosmetic scent that many vintage cosmetics have but in the best way. It's just a pleasant fragrance. It's not too fruity, not too floral, not too light or weak, and not to strong. It's just a great, well-balanced scent. If I had to put it in any category, it would be floral but it's certainly not old musky grandma floral. Im 32 but a younger person could pull this off just fine. You can smell the raspberry ever so slightly and the creamy gourmand aspect. Bottom line, highly recommend at least trying it with your body chemistry. See if you notice the unique aspect of that sweet and light cosmetics scent!
I don't hate it, but don't really want to wear it either. Smells more like a cologne mixed with Off mosquito repellent.
I love this scent. smells fruity <3 can defiantly smell the raspberries. this actually smells like the berry refresher from Starbucks lol but better.. like the purple drink <3
To put it bluntly, it stinks. I have never liked any perfume from this brand (they all smell grand-motherly) but I liked the bottle and note description so I was hopeful. It was a big no unfortunately
This one surprised me. At first sniff, I wasn't expecting to like it, but the longer I wore it, the more I fell in love! I can't really place what it IS, just what it isn't. It's not fruity, not floral, not sweet. I can't really pick out any single note. It's just a mix that smells warm and dark and grungy to me. Definitely 90's vibes. Like a record store in Portland, OR.
This was a blind buy. It kept being recommended to me & had notes that I typically like. I don't hate it but I can't see myself reaching for it often because I have so many other fragrances that I like more. I can't think of an occasion this would be perfect for.
This is a unique fragrance that does have a slight chemical smell. I enjoy the fragrance but I do have fragrances that I like more.
Least favorite of this brand. Smells off.
This has a heavy chemical smell, Reminds me of off bug spray. But it lasted a long time no matter how much I tried to wash it off.
Leaves like a chemical smell on me
I LOVE this perfume! I personally love most all of this brands perfumes. There are a few not as much. This one is definitely in my top three list of Juliette has a gun perfumes! It so feminine and gorgeous smelling.
I could barely smell anything, even after spraying. What I could smell was nice, but it maybe lasted 5 minutes it felt like. Just doesn't work with my body chemistry I guess.
Beautiful scent!
I love this! It smells awesome on my skin. Thank you scentbox
So pleasant! Delightfully fruity but refined -- really nice on its own and fantastic to layer!
I love the scent on me. A little strong at first but calms after a bit. Can still smell it on my skin at the end of the day.
Smells weird on me. The patchouli is stronger than I expected.
The best perfume I’ve ever worn. It makes me feel classically beautiful and smells like expensive lipstick. Wonderful
Love this scent, and it lasts a while without being overpowering
This isn’t for me. If you like this scent, a dupe is Into The Night by bath and body works.
It is just okay for me. I would need to layer this in order to really enjoy it.
The smell is enjoyed, just not my type. The notes listed by scent box are accurate. Gave to my mother, she enjoys it more.
