Amouage
Amouage presented a new pair of fragrances by the name of Interlude in 2012. Interlude Woman and Interlude Man are said to evoke an air of disorder while maintaining a sense of balance and tranquility through the inventive use of incense and myrrh.
Christopher Chong said, I interpret what I see and feel into scents. All the social and natural chaos and disorder surrounding us today can be translated to a much more intimate level. The interlude moment is a reflection of all the trials and tribulations one overcomes to attain personal satisfaction and achievement. He also explained the use of ingredients. Amouage has established an enviable reputation for re-inventing accustomed scents. Frankincense and Myrrh traditionally smell spiritual and religious but in Interlude, they have been reconstructed to feel contemporary yet sophisticated.
Interlude Man is a spicy woody fragrance that opens with zesty bergamot, oregano and pimento berry oil, perpetuating intervals of conflict which are countered by aromatic notes of amber, frankincense, opoponax, cistus and myrrh. Eternal notes of leather, agarwood smoke, patchouli and sandalwood in the base add lasting layers of depth and texture. The nose behind the scent is Pierre Negrin.

It’s a little to musky for my taste.
It's a phenomenal scent. Some of the best use of fresh oregano in a fragrance.
Full bodied scent. My 3 teenage sons all loved the smell and told me to buy it. It has a smoky, herbal, minty forest smell to it with a powdery finish. My sons said it smelled a bit like smokey vanilla mint toothpaste. It's very unique and extremely long lasting (10+ hours). My wife didn't care for it as she prefers "fresh" wintergreen and citrus scented colognes.
Smells good, but is pretty strong!
Smoky musky scent
Very dark, smokey and mature fragrance. If you want someone to stop and ask what you're wearing, this will do the job. Personally, I love it but I can see how this wouldn't be for everyone. You have to be very good looking to pull this one off. Definitely not for the uglies.
Strong but works for me
Kinda bummed about this one. It's strong and thick and sweet. I'm also very likely allergic to it. Couldn't wear it without sneezing.
Terrible!
Powerful and alluring. Good on my skin. Unique oriental fragrance
Perfect witer fragrance and last longing, definitely recommend! Peacock perfect!
Smells really good, I've gotten a lot of compliments but be careful it's very powerful!!! I've been told I smell like Christmas when I wear this.
Very powdery. Incense is over the top for me. I'm sure this is for someone but definitely not for me. Old man smelling.
This smells like a firefighter’s suit. So if you’re going for the “I just put out a fire” smell, this is for you.
Smells good, not too good for the price in my opinion. I also feel that the smell of the incense is way too strong to the point that will give you a headache if you smell it often. Now you can notice the quality of the notes and it last a really long time, at least in my skin lasted more than 8 with a very good projection.
It is very strong but I love it I am interested in discovering other armouge scents
Powerful, smells like a black-n-mild
I'd give it closer to 3.5 stars.... It's not a bad fragrance, but it smells a little too much like incense to me.
Excellent
Reminds me of an old man scent.
It’s heavy but not bad
This is a great scent, it is very strong as well. It is that kind of scent that goes very deep.
Its just not my kind of scent. A bit spicy with an incense aroma.
Like the one other guy said, it is an old man musky smell. Not my cup of tea. Creed was way better
Its very much an old man smell in my opinion has that 70s cologne appeal
Diferente and exclusive! This fragrance is not for everyone and the smell are strong
