A great Spring fragrance
I don't know if I got a bad batch, but I'm not getting any of the notes that are in the description or what people are saying in their reviews. All I got was a floral scent that was very light and only lasted about an hour or two. Reminded me of an older woman scent. No idea how people are saying it's amazing and super strong.
Great scent. I really like it. It smells fresh and invigorating. Unfortunately, it only lasts about 3hrs then it transitions into a skin scent (like scented lotion). Even applying it over a dab of Vaseline only increased it's longevity by about 1.5 hrs. Simply isn't long lasting enough for the money.
Pretty good, not my favorite. Reminds me of potpourri in the opening.
Smells great but is completely gone within an hour
Smells a bit too feminine for me.
Its cool, just not as strong as other creed fragrances.
To me a much stronger smell than Aventus or Erolga. Definitely has an "icy" feel to it for lack of a better term. Works well for me, not as sweet as the others but that might be its biggest draw for me.
Not for me. It dried down and I liked the smell better, but no longevity
Smells fresh and clean. Longevity isn’t great on skin, but lasts all day on clothes. Safe office scent.
Lovely fresh scent. My husband gets so many compliments. This cologne radiates to fill the room and leaves a scent trail that is intoxicating. It's both sexy and calming. The scent lasts all day and the silage is amazing!
Not as good as aventus but damn near almost there great smell cologne
Long lasting and very unique and classy.
Clean,fresh,and casual scent
Reminds me more of like a baby powder scent. May be great for some, but not for me.
Great fresh clean scent. I don’t hear many talk of Creed Himalaya and don’t know why. It smells great! Definitely on my list of luxury fragrances to consider buying.
It smells clean like a body wash would smell. Not really something you would think of for a cologne.
Good, lighter, everyday scent. Wife thinks it has a light reference to CK1. Not sure I agree, but she loves the scent.
Similar in notes to Bvlgari Man Wood Essence, but much more expensive.
Warm and inviting, and where ive never sampled this scent, nit smelled very familiar as if i had been wearing it for decades. Wonderful scent highly recommend
not bad, not great, worth a shot
Smells great but projection in weak.
I've gotten so many compliments off of this one. Definitely an attention grabber
Not what I usually expect from creed but still good cologne.
Good smelling fragrance. Masculine, fresh, and clean.
This is amazing and works so well with me. Last long and is inviting and comforting. I love this so much more than Aventus.
Great smelling clogone. Does seem to wear off pretty quick.
Very masculine. Love wearing this after a shower and shave. Makes me feel extra fresh. Smells very clean.
Creed Himalaya Is a masculine fragrance that does not disappoint. The Creed creators keep winning. Masculine date night scent:
Smells great, doesn’t seem to last
I enjoyed this fragrance.
I like how it smells and it lasts while I'm at work. I can smell it on myself so I know it's pretty strong.
Smells amazing but doesn't last very long at all.
It’s okay.
Mediocre . Smells great . But does not last but a minute on your skin. Overpriced for how long it last
Smells like old man
nice!
Nice clean fresh scent
good scent but not my style
Smells nice and clean. Nothing too special, just nice and clean. Longevity isn’t great… it stayed on my clothes all day, but only lasted a couple hours on skin. Overall I like it. Safe office scent.
Great after shower scent. Fresh and strong.
Fresh like mountain air
Smells amazing in my top 5 creed fragrances
Smells great. But like most creed does last very long
smells wonderful and last pretty good on my skin. alto the notes scream cool weather this works more better in spring / fall. i would buy it again for sure. i layer it with other frags as by itself it don't last long.
Musk in this feels stale. It's not a horrible scent but there's so many better grapefruit citrus scents or there, especially for this price
Absolutely amazing love it!
I'm still trying to find out what notes give this a metallic barbershop smell with such an omnipresent scent in hundreds of masculine bestsellers. Is it the combination of grapefruit and juniper? A certain aromachemical maybe? Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's Paco Rabanne's XS that made it popular. Because if its almost physiological cooling effect, this is more than a fragrance accord, hence the popularity. Himalaya has this as a backbone, garnished with drops of both body cream and shaving foam and some green grass woodiness. Overall, a banality, made to impress others in a positive way, but leaving very little to the imagination. Perfect for straightforward business meetings where ambiguity and playfulness would be a weakness. The drydown gets smoother and creamier, with some gingery, tobacco-ish undertones reminiscent of the original Carolina Herrera for men or even Bvlgari Blv. This is also very similar to Silver Mountain Water with a few fresher smelling notes.
Love my man in this!
Smells great!
So far my favorite creed fragrance, reminds me of salt water rocks at the beach
Smells like a mature Polo Sport.
The scent dissappear almost immediately!
Amazing scent!!!!
Just doesn't go well with me. May work for you but this is just ok to me. Definitely try it before you buy it.
Although rather expensive, decided to finally make a blind purchase of a 1oz. btl from the famed designer. Totally amazing stuff and does remind me a bit of XS which is a best bang for the buck sharp woody hit. This one I find to be a cool, crisp, wintery aroma that could very well be worn during hot summer days.
....save for the below average longevity and projection. I mean for the price of this one. A good casual, all-season scent, but for formal occassions, I wouldn't recommed this one.
I just ordered this cologne and am looking forward to the 5-star rating I will probably endorse. The fact that it is unisex makes it even more appealing. Will let you know what I think once I get it.
Shocked at the great reviews this stuff gets. It has a dry down not as good and weaker than Lanarchiste. Read my review for that, the drydowns are similar, but Lanarchiste is so much better and more interesting. Himalaya is so expensive and like all the other Creeds I have tried, way, and I mean way, over hyped. Do not buy. Lanarchiste blows this overpriced juice way out of the water.
Love this fragrance, especially the warmer drydown. Very sexy - It is my favorite Creed even over MI, SMW, and GIT.
The only scent I can think of that has any similarity is XS by Paco Rabanne. XS is much more salty and woody and not really wintery-crisp and fresh like Himalaya though. I like Himalaya much better and I wouldn't really use XS as an alternative IMO but try to sample it for your curiousity.
I have had this for more than 4 months now. This stuff is good. It keeps me fresh through out the day. I have seen lot of woman just finding reason to be around me when I wear this. Well, and nobody can guess what it is.
Hello there! based on the reviews of this cologne it only means that this is very good. I'm trying to find this on our local area (shops) but I can't find Himalaya, the others (creed) are available. All the salesman that I've ask told me that this Himalaya is out of stock and they also told me I have to wait for some time. To the cologne gurus or to anyone, is there any cologne that smells like Himalaya? Thanks. Cheers!
It is not a bad cologne, but in my skin it smells dull. I had GIT and it was much better and got me many compliments... this one I was never really convinced about and bought it based on the reviews...bad mistake. It might be suitable for others but so far, the green ones do a better job for me, like GIT in the past and Original Vetiver in the present (Excellent for night time)...Himalaya is rich in composition, but oddly anonymous.
it was the best out of a bunch of weak samples. But I was expecting more seeing how everyone ranks this cologne a lot as one of the best. For the price, I would have expected something that stands out and not blend in.
THIS IS ONE OF THOSE YOU GLAD YOU GOT IT, BUT ALSO GLAD YOU PAID HALF PRICE FOR IT. NICE FRAGRANCE, BUT PRICE DETERMINES HOW MUCH YOU LIKE IT.
my top choices are the very cheap drug store wings, issey is a heavy scent and is good for winter and also burberry brit.
Thanks guys. I have seen both of u on alot of these posts. U guys must be the cologne gurus on the site huh lol. Yea I ran out of cologne and wanna get some great new scents soon. I am gonna get Armani Code, which is currently my fav., Vera Wang, Silver Shadow, and maybe L'Eau D'Issey. But do u think L'eau would be ok for winter?Everyone says it is for spring/summer exclusively. Thanks again guys.
great choice bro, i'm 26 and even though i would not call this an all the way winter scent it is definately a great scent.
I would recommend it for a guy your age but just know that this one isn't cheap. It's a fairly energetic and sporty breeze that's kind of a salty and musky aquatic-like scent. It's also one of my top five all-time favorite colognes. Take care
Hello everyone. I am a 22 year old guy and I am looking for a very unique winter cologne to get soon. Is Himalaya ok for my age? Or am I too young? Cuz some scents come across as very mature, and some more young. Any advcie would be greatful. thank u
Awesome crisp, refreshing and cool as ice sporty scent is sexy as hell and is great for sportin' it in the summer as well as the chilly wintery days.
I really can't work this fragrance out. The first two times I tried it many months ago, I really didn't rate it. I initially thought it was very bland. I can scacely believe how much this fragrance has grown on me since. I now rate this as my favourite Creed, without a doubt. As others have said, the dry down is to die for. I think I've found my 'signature scent'. This one really is a grower, so give it time.
I adore this fragrance on my husband...I like GIT as well, but he complains that it doesn't last long enough. Himalaya has a better lasting power, and an incredibly seductive drydown...makes me want to lean in closer for a whiff!
This cool and sexy wintery breeze is a definite aphrodesiac to the women and any guy out there who catches a whiff of this potion should be convinced to pick up a bottle for himself.
This is an awesome fragrance that both genders appreciate. Highly reccommend it to every living creature.
I am still trying to like it, I am not that impress with the topnotes, i do like the drydown though, not sure I would say its that Creed has to offer but its good enough,...Fan of Erolfa
as all Creeds, Himalaya seems not to be a perfume, it's rather a way of life, an emotion, an attitude or a simphony. Anyway, it's a blend of natural elements fallen in love!!
Obviously because it's Creed, it's not cheap but this sporty cool breeze seems to be an excellent winterwear cologne for the price.
Hey, you claimed that you have over 40 colognes in a previous post. Most colognes have a 30 month shelf life, so i'm wondering what you are going to do say 3-4 years from now, are you going to buy all 40+ colognes again after they go dead? I've been thinking about collecting colognes but this is the problem i came across.
i have embelished my nose in and while not as good as smw a good scent neverless.actually kinda boring for the price so this is not a must have scent. hey i sampled 4 fragrances today and only 2 will get 5 stars, be delicious and roma.
EXPENSIVE STUFF BUT OVERALL AN AWESOME ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE KIND OF SCENT THAT'S BEST WORN FOR SPORT/CASUAL AND EVEN THE CLUBS.
One of the greatest fragrances ever created for a man, PERIOD!!! Because of it's high price, I would much rather use it when I'm hanging with the fellas at the club or wherever we may be hanging out at or during the winter months.
The best Creed fragrance ever!! Sporty and seductive at the same time, the women crave me whenever I wear this magical wonder!
It's not a scent to die for or buy up. But it smells great. It last for a few hours, the scent wont give people around you a headache.... well maybe but not when I use this. For the high price,, I don't know.
This is Creed's best in my opinion and the women love it when I wear this sporty and salty/aquatic wonder that reminds me a little of Paco Rabanne's XS.
ALTHOUGH THE PRICE IS REALLY "HIMALALYAN" HIGH, IT'S TRULY WORTH BUYING AND USING FOR THE LADIES TO CLIMB ALL OVER YOU. COUNT ON IT.
Right next to Millesime Imperial and Santal Imperial, the best damn Creed fragrance out there! GET THIS STUFF!!
I liked it better than SM and Imperiale, ( but let's not quibble, Creed rocks!) to say nothing of the 1,001 'acqua de___' which are on the market. To tell the truth this is one of my all time favorites along with Minotaure, the original '34 Dunhill , Givenchy Gentleman, Le Roy Soleil and (for playing Poker or other nefarious activities) Bvlgari Black. What do you like?
I think that this cologne is of great quality and refinement however, its too conservative and not standing out whole a lot. It smells like Xeryus by Ginvenchy but with upscale touch. Atleast it lasts longer than Erolfa. Not really that impressed, maybe it is better than I can comprehend but maybe not. i just bought it so I want to see what others will say.
I liked the scent but thought silver mountain and Irish tweed were better. Too much of a woody scent for me
Having to own 8 Creeds and tried quite a few others, i must come to a conclusion that Himalaya is by far my favorite Creed. It has one of the most awesome dry-downs i've come across. Creed's quality is absolutely top notch, designers just cant compare. MI is also drop-dead gorgeous, but then so is BDP, OV, SMW, Tabarome, NS..........they are all good, buy them all!
Imperial was very good, absolutely fabulous, it's also a close cousin to Silver Mountain Water, but Imperial is very fruity, have a watermelon smell. I thought after the creation of those two, Oliver Creed has reached more than just perfection. But i was wrong when i got my Himalaya. This one just really took me to another level. It's clean, citrus, and woody dry-down, but it doesn't really loose it's fresh character through out the day, the dry-down itself is something i cannot put my finger on, it's drop-dead gorgeous. So now Himalaya is #1 in my list and from the 5 Creeds i have i would place them as follows: 1. Himalaya 2. Millesime Imperial 3. Green Irish Tweed 4. Silver Mountain Water 5. Tabarome
This is a great fragance by Creed! (You cannot go wrong with this Perfumerie, who has been creating fragances for princes and kings since the last century). Himalaya is a "new" fragance (introduced into the market in 2000). It starts very strong (so GO SLOW on the squirts!), then progresses into a more earthy, sandalwood-like aroma as the day progresses. But...I still prefer Creed's Millesime Imperiale (gold bottle). It is a year-round fragance, bold but subdued at the same time...always get comments and questions when I wear it...people are absolutely mesmerized by it! Try it if you can find it!
After the experience that is Silver Mountain Water (another Creed creation), my expectations for Himalaya were high. Unfortunately, they weren't met. Himalaya doesn't stand out a whole lot. The top notes aren't all that spectacular but the dry down is quite nice. The lasting power is around average, maybe just below. IMO, not worth the big bucks they charge.
This stuff attracts attention in a very positive way from females of all ages whether I'm at work, church, the mall, or wherever. I got lucky paying less than $100 for the 4oz. bottle. This gets 5 stars+ right next to my Vera Wang.
i heard from my best friend that millesime imperial by creed is the best? but we have not smelled himalaya. if anyone knows which is better i would really appreciate it so i know which one to buy next month thanks. peace
Creed fragrances are simply the best in quality. It might be expensive but will last longer for the money. A half a squirt will be noticeable to others!
If I want snowy peaks, I'll go to Colorado. Love the bottle, Hate whats inside.
For nearly 250 years, the House of Creed has furnished heads of state, monarchs and celebrities with original fragrances called "millesimes." A millesime is a fragrance made with a higher content of hand-pressed, essential oils than cologne or eau de toilette. In 2002, Creed launched its first original scent of the new millenium called Himalaya. In 2003, Himalaya became available through very limited distribution in the United States. First, I don't know of a more reputable or trustworthy purveyor of Creed Fragrances than Pam Atchison, proprietor, Hampton Court Essential Luxuries, Santa Rosa, California. Pam supplied me with Himalaya in May of 2003 and I chose not to share my assessment of it until July. Once out of its platinum colored bottle, top notes of icy, cool mandarin and grapefruit announce an almost arctic beginning that, as some have noted, is as refreshing as Tibetan mountain snow. Be foretold, though; you've only begun to appreciate Himalaya's surprises! Within a couple of hours of your first breath of Himalaya, you will begin to experience mid- and base notes of pepper, musk of Tonka, cedar and sandalwood. From these slowly evolving lower notes comes Himalaya's true character and astonishing power. The dry down sparkles throughout with its original iciness but, almost imperceptibly, a warmer depth evolves. My final, unqualified judgment is that Creed has given those fortunate enough to own and wear it, a new classic that is as much sensuous magic as it is a spiritual experience. I am wholeheartedly smitten!
This is my favorite. You can see me in my Bud commercial spraying it on in the bathroom. It is the best because one spray alone is so overhelming, just imagine seven or eight!
I LOVE THIS CLEAN, FRESH SCENT. IT REMINDS OF EAU DE CARTIER IN A SENSE, BUT YOU DEFINTELY CAN' T GO WRONG WITH EITHER ONE. THE LATEST IN A LONG LINE OF WELL-MADE CREED SCENTS. KEEP IT COMING, OC.
But to be honest, it goes on like a stronger CK-1 and then dries down to more earthy sandalwood tones. It's good, but it is a bit expensive.
By far the greatest and most appealing fragrance I have encountered in my life. Choosing this fragrance seperates the men from the boys!
