This was surprisingly different than expected after reading the notes. It has a very lemon verbena smell.. I absolutely love this scent! I sprayed my wrist after my shower then went to bed. I slept 8 hours and it was still there! So impressed! This I would purchase a bigger bottle of!
I enjoyed this fragrance very much. Ani lasted over 12 hours on my skin, the last few hours being more of a skin scent, I could smell a light Vanilla Wafer scent on my arm the next morning. Amazing. My skin temp is generally on the cool side and the local weather ran from the 60's F to the 80's F. I didn't find it overly sweet and found it to be nicely balanced with spicy/woodsy notes. Can easily be worn by anyone wanting to smell extraordinary. Definitely going on my wish list for the husband,
This is a beautiful spicy, woody vanilla with great longevity and projection.
Absolutely banging, one of my new all time favorites
I blind bought because people said how good it smells...its very spicey and I just dont like the scent at all
This is a banger, 4.5,,,fire
I wasn't sure about this when I first put it on, but by the end of the day I was absolutely in love! It has a smokey, vanilla, almost bourbon scent to it. I just can't get enough! It lasts all day for me, with no need to reapply.
At first I didn't like it but then it grew on me. I love it now. Getting a full bottle
Love this scent. Sprayed it on after my shower and 24 hours later I could still smell the vanilla.
I kind of liked this, but my husband HATED it. He said all he could smell was the patchouli. I Thought it was a spicy citrus scent. Definitely something I'm glad I tried a sample of before buying. I'd heard many positive things about it. It's not a safe blind buy scent though.
Smelled like an old lady scent to me. Was very strong and very musky.
It starts out smelling like cough syrup like Nyquil.. then settles out to smell like gumdrops. Whether on the skin or on clothes, it just didn't work for me. My spouse said it just smelled sweet.
Not for me
This smells like sexy tropical Christmas to me
I have been getting constant compliments since I started wearing this perfume! There's nothing like this in my collection and I will be getting a full size. It has great longevity and is truly unisex.
Ani smells great.
I’m so confused. Everyone says this is a must-have if you like vanillas, but I don’t get any vanilla from this. It’s just a mess of woody and spicy, which can be done nicely but this is not. The best word I have for it is off-putting. No need to worry if you don’t like the smell though — luckily it’s gone in less than 15 minutes.
Finally… exactly what I’ve always been looking for! I’ve been tasting fragrance's for years and this is the FIRST one both my husband and I have really enjoyed… I didn’t think we were that picky, but there you have it. I prefer a slightly sweet but deep fragrance while he enjoys more spiced and floral notes. This really hits it all without being overbearing in any one note. In my opinion, it starts sweeter and more “gourmand” ish when it’s first sprayed and dries to a more complex and spiced scent. Smelling directly on my clothes it had a bit of a citrus pop too. I’ve been searching for so long, I can’t wait to make this my forever!
Sensual Vanilla! This scent is sexy... sedutive spicy vanilla. Ani is a standout, knock out! This is for people who want to be memorable.
The opening is a bit spicy and strong. Perhaps a bit masculine. But the dry- down is sweet and lovely with a touch of vanilla.
Great fragrance it has a very elegant smell.
I already have this one in mu collection with the full size bottle. Hands down my favorite. Even my husband is picky about fragrances on me because he doesn't like a lot of them, but this one definitely is his favorite and always gets his attention... if you know what I mean. Sophisticated vanilla combined with spice from the pepper. Hands down my favorite year round and the one I keep getting compliments from time and time again.
I did not love this at first sniff, was too green for my liking, though as it warmed up on my skin throughout the day the vanilla came forward and I really enjoy it
I like this one on my husband. It's his "Going Out" fragrance. Warm and spicy, Not too sweet. For him, it's a fall/ winter scent.
Absolutely love it! Truly such a balanced fragrance that isn't overwhelming but is long-lasting. Even heavy hitters like those from Initio will fade on me within a few hours, but I get compliments on this one at the end of the day. It fades into a more mellow musk but definitely starts off nice with bergamot/cardamom (more in a sweet than spicy way)
This scent was too masculine and I did not like it at all.
If I had noticed it was unisex, I would not have ordered it! Did not stay on me at all, even right after I applied it! Nothing stood out for me with this fragrance. I wish I could bottle what I am smelling outside right now. It's heavenly! This fragrance was not ME!
Gorgeous!! Not too spicy. Just perfect.
Gag me with a spoon awful ginger leather armpits I’m sorry but that’s the truth nothing of sweet warm vanilla to my nose sad part is it’s BEAST MODE extremely masculine on me
Uniquely Warm, creamy vanilla fragrance that gets better as it develops throughout the day. Beast mode longevity.
Omg this is absolutely perfect !! Smells like a lemon meringue pie in the opening .. definitely full bottle worthy ..
I love this! It's a definite Yes!
This came across as a very cedar-heavy, bitter ginger.
I really disliked this scent initially. But then I layered it with a floral perfume and the combination is stunning. This intoxicating mixture has become my signature profile.
This scent gives Layton vibes. Such a sweet scent, a must buy if you're into that. This scent last forever. I sprayed it once on a shirt and can still smell it 5 days later.
This was not for me. Spicy and interesting but dries down to a masculine patchouli that I couldn’t stomach.
no more than 3 sprays with this one, ladies love it but its powerful.
Gorgeous, complex scent. Sweet but not too much so.
A spice bomb, but really enjoyable.
When sprayed on, the bergamot is what I smell immediately but then it settles into a rich, spicy scent! It's a fascinating perfume, I feel like every time I smell it I pick up something else. I think this is definitely a unisex fragrance. I gave it a 4, not a 5, because the scent does not last long.
Not what I was expecting. Strong
The drydown is nice but the opening I can’t get on board with. Smelled a bit soapy and too out there for me.
This is a rich and luxurious scent. It lasts on me all day and the scent carries far. It is warm and sweet. I love it for a date night or evening event.
Starts out a sweet spicy, pine scent but dries to a very nice warm vanilla. I love it. Initial spray might be a little masculine leaning for some but it’s very unisex after it dries down. It’s got great performance so spray conservatively.
Lightly sweet, but not much more. Just a first impression and I might pickup more notes down the road, but for now it just ok.
A spicy, unisex vanilla. A bit too masculine for my taste, but because of the performance, a great one to have in my purse for a quick refresh.
Ani is a very unique fragrance. It took some getting use to. It is great fragrance.
Love this one. Very quality juice, Definitely purchasing this one??
This one is a keeper for my perfume collection. Love like someone compared to chai latter smell. Spicy and tangy. I don’t understand why many people say it smells masculine. Definitely does not to me. Perfect for fall and winter.
This is an awesome fragrance. I was in love with this cologne from day 1. It has that rich citrusy opening but the middle and base notes are what makes this special. This will give you that rich vibe when you wear it. I got 2 compliments on this both the days I was wearing this. Longevity is good, but may need to spray on the pulse points and a bit on the clothes too.
Given all the hype this fragrance has generated I was so excited to try for myself. What a letdown. Smells very masculine and I love and rock quite a few unisex and even straight up masculine fragrances but this is all male. I don’t get much vanilla mostly generic mens cologne. It’s not bad I just expected so much more.
I enjoy this fragrance a lot more than I thought I would. It opens very spicy and masculine, which was kind of off putting, but it dries to a warm vanilla. I feel like it is more of a winter scent, but could also be nice for a date night.
Did not like this one at all. Smells cheap and strong but not in a good way
I think I just found my favorite perfume, EVER!
Extremely nauseating and headache inducing; I actually got sick from this fragrance. I wanted to like it so bad but is an absolute NO for me.
This is most definitely a unisex scent that had to grow on me but I like it.
I didn't like this, It smelled sort of sharp and medicinal- not quite menthol like and vanilla on me. However my son liked it so he has it now.
It’s nice and lasts a long time but to me it smells like something for a man
Lovely! It smells like a Chai Latte. Not really seasonally appropriate but I’ve enjoyed wearing it anyway. Very cozy, spicy and sweet. I can’t wait to wear this in the winter.
Love it. I smell chocolate at first then the dry down is a nice amber. One of my favorites
Ani smells a bit citric in the opening and mid but, to my nose, it is mostly a comforting vanilla scent that projects well and lasts at least 12 hours on clothing. Would buy again.
I didn’t care for this the first time I tried it, but a few days later I returned to it and it was just magical. This is a piney, aromatic vanilla… not a sweet vanilla like I’m used to it all, but something much more complex and interesting. Can’t wait to use it in the fall and winter!
I loved this scent, it is a strong scent that cools down and turns sweet with time. It sticks on clothes super well, and works better for winter as its too overpowering in the summer heat.
Excellent
Do not like it it seems so strong for my taste lasting power it is good it stat even after showering Will bot buy the full bottle
Kind of oriental. Definitely pick up on sandalwood and ambergris.
Love the dry down on me! Opening is strong, I was a little taken aback by the opening spiciness and sweet lemon scent. But once it dries down, the vanilla comes through. Lasts all day on me. After 5 hrs or so, it sits close to the skin.
I am still on the fence with this one. Struggling a bit with some of the opening. Some days I enjoy it other days I can’t stand it. Don’t think it’s full bottle worthy for me. Will go through the decant and test it in different weather but once the decant is gone I don’t think I will miss it. Definitely glad I got to test and sample first.
It's a no for me. I honestly don't get the hype at all. I didn't get the vanilla dry down that others claimed. It was harsh and masculine in the opening, with a ton of spices. It then turns sort of matronly. Honestly it's like what I imagine an old church lady's handbag to smell like.
I wasn’t impressed. It doesn’t smell bad at all but it reminds me of red tobacco by Mancera but softer. I like it but don’t think it’s worth a full bottle
I love this. One of my best picks from Scentbox (other than L'Interdit Intense). It starts out unisex - lemony citrus that can lean a bit masculine but not in a bad way, and not like that dreaded cleaner smell. The magic comes in the mid-dry down - the vanilla comes through a bit more and it smells like sexy lemon cake lol. I have Lira by Xerjoff and would definitely say these share the same scent profile - Ani starts out different, but the dry down is almost identical to Lira (projects better than Lira though). Worth owning both. Full bottle worthy - I am already on the hunt to purchase one for myself. A must try if you like gourmand/lemon scents.
Very strong at first then you get to enjoy the nice vanilla musk
The initial spray is a little odd to me. The citrusy top notes weren't my favorite, I won't lie. But THAT DRY DOWN. Good lord. It's smoky vanilla. So sensual and beautiful and it PROJECTS. This is a BEAUTIFUL and unique vanilla fragrance.
Smells like B.O.
The notes I smell at first are citrus and patchouli. Then dies down and I smell musk, sandalwood & vanilla. I gave it to my mom because I felt she would appreciate it more than I would.
I don’t get the hype. Too strong. Instant headache. All I got were spices, barely vanilla.
Wow!! This one is VERY heady! Headache inducing. I wanted to like it, but it’s was too much!
I love this: complex, very bold but natural notes. Definitely unisex, tipping a little closer to masc (which works for me nicely). I’m getting spice, ginger, timber. A little back of the throat sweet gourmand. Almost like chai? Very nice!
It’s long lasting and has a good performance. Not my personal taste, it smells like pure cloves with a sharp sweetness. It’s a warm scent but it’s too too heady for me. It’s much better once the opening notes have passed. NOT sexy. Mature yes.
This is the one. It's intoxicating, seductive, long-lasting. I love the fragrance and how it shifts throughout the day. It is so very comforting and I want to smell it forever.
Great scent
Love it! Smells great and leaves a wonderful trail.
I especially enjoy this when freshly sprayed. Not overly sweet but with depth.
We exchanged this scent immediately. It smells like wood shavings, and lingers long after sprayed.
Ok
This would make a fantastic men's fragrance for the fall and winter, but I don't think this is unisex. I own a few unisex scents but I couldn't keep this one. It's too masculine in my opinion. It does smell expensive and is strong! I'd love to smell this on a man! It's very sexy.
It smells elegant and warm. The first spray I did not like but as the day progressed and the scent bloomed it became much more enjoyable. Will be purchasing
I'm not sure what in this fragrance makes me sneeze when first applying this perfume. It without fail tickles my nose. Once it dries down it is lovely and warm. I wish it lasted longer on me and projected better.
My first gender neutral fragrance and it is lovely.
Amazing
Love this scent
Unique and charming, but definitely polarizing and not a safe scent to buy blindly. Ginger is the predominant factor- its sharp and dry, and an interesting combo with the vanilla biscuit impression. I thought it would be more gourmand, the dry down is challenging for me in an animalic way.
This is soooooo good! The opening is pretty gingery and at first i was so confused about all the hype but the dry down is pure creamy spicy vanilla goodness! I’ll definitely be investing in a big bottle!
it opens up really nice but I prefer what it matures into.. lovely dry down
This is good. I enjoy it a lot. It lasts quite long and it has good projection. The greenness that’s at the top notes definitely makes this fragrance very unique. I like this a lot, but not a love for me. I’ll probably give this to my girlfriend.
very unisex and versatile
This is intoxicating and delicious! Opens sweet and spicy and slightly tangy as you get into the middle notes. As it dries down, the sweetness rolls into a vanillic, woody base. The balance of freshness, sweetness, spiciness and woods is superb! It lasts 6-8 hours and has decent projection. Sexy, cozy, amazing! This is the best fragrance I have ever smelled, hands down! 10 out of 10! Will buy a full bottle!
Not quite what I was expecting but it is still a beautiful scent. To me it leans more masculine. I would prefer to smell this on a male than on me.
Creamsicle but nevertheless complex. It opens with very bright citrus. The dry-down adds sweet & sour patchouli.
This perfume is complex. The top notes are very different from the dry down, it's like two different perfumes in one. The top notes are heavy on cardamom and ginger which I found quite masculine. The dry down is a cosy, spicy vanilla which I really enjoyed. More of a cold weather perfume. Easily unisex.
It is a great scent, but not for me.
My favorite scent so far out of all of them. I'll definitely be buying a bottle. So feminine and sweet. Smells amazing after its been on the skin a while.
Smells nice, kinda strong at first but dries down into a wonderful scent and layers nicely
Suprisingly great scent. Has an orange cream scent.
Fantastic, I believe its a great fall scent, but what do I know. I love it.
This niche fragrance is warm and spicy with woody vanilla notes... add a slight hint of fruit and powder. To me, it's great for anytime. A date or the grocery store. I've gotten tons of compliments on it, my husband got a bit frisky as well. The sillage is amazing and it last almost all day. Full bottle worthy.
This is an amazing, sweet and spicy fragrance.
Too spicy and woodsy for me. Too masculine for me.
One of the most beautiful fragrances i have ever smelled, this is coming from someone who has over 30+ bottles in there collection. This fragrance easily lasts over 12+ hours on clothing. If you like vanilla scents try this one out, it does not disappoint.
I like it. Very spicy and leans masculine. I mix it with Delina and it makes a mind-blowing fragrance together. This is very heady, sexy, aggressive and powerful. Last forever.
Rich vanilla and Spicy
Great performance, great longevity. A lil mature but I'm ok with that. I'm happy to get to try it.
I was hoping to be impressed by this fragrance because I have heard good things about it and it did not disappoint, it was better than I imagined and a must have in my opinion! It is strong but not too overwhelming, definitely ideal for fall or winter.
Full bottle worthy!! Absolutely love Ani! Beautiful fragrance and excellent longevity!
Beautiful fragrance and amazing longevity! I thought I would try this based on Demi Rawling’s recommendation and so glad I did. I’m curious to try other fragrances by Nishane.
Spicy yet smooth fragrance that lasts all day. My husband says it's his favorite.
Love it! Sexy, woodsy and musky, but not overpowering. Definitely wearable for both sexes.
This is without doubt the best vanilla fragrance I’ve ever smelled! Fast shipping as well, just an awesome experience altogether
Sweet smell, great for date night
Very seductive scent...love it
Multi-layered gourmand fragrance, has a strong woodsy note, overall very seductive
This is one of my favorite type of gourmands, l have wanted to get my nose on this for awhile and l will definitely use this up but there are other fragrances in the woody vanilla category that work better for me. I prefer Whispers in the Library by Replica, Ani feels more masculine comparably but is still a beautiful fragrance.
Terrible
Terrible!
Smells nice when first sprayed, but it does not last for me.
Meh, is all I can say on the smell. Longevity is not good at all, maybe 2hrs in my skin.
A good middle of the road (not gagging sweet) gourmand. Maybe if it was fall I would rank it higher.
