Tom Ford
Portofino has always been a magical place for me. There are few cities in the world that evoke such strong emotions and memories. The sounds, sights, and smells of the city are so poignant. I tried to capture this in Neroli Portofino. Comment from Tom Ford.
This scent perfectly captures the cool breezes, sparking clear water, and lush foliage of the Italian Rivera. His reinvention of a classic eau de cologne features crisp citrus oils, surprising floral notes, and amber undertones to leave a splashy yet substantive impression.

????? Tom Ford Neroli Portofino is pure, effortless luxury in a bottle. From the first spray, it bursts open with bright citrus and crisp neroli that instantly feels clean, fresh, and sun-drenched—like stepping onto the Italian coast on a perfect summer morning. As it settles, the floral notes soften beautifully with a smooth, elegant warmth that’s refined without ever feeling heavy. It’s sophisticated, uplifting, and endlessly wearable—fresh enough for daytime, yet polished enough to feel special. A timeless, confidence-boosting fragrance that smells expensive, refreshing, and unforgettable. Absolute 5-star classic. ?
It's o k the scent isn't what I remember when I had it before.
I’d actually give it a 3.5.
I didn't love it at first but it has grown on me. I will finish it, but I wouldn't buy a full bottle. Although it seems warm, it still feels like it's best as an everyday scent for summer. I think of beaches when I wear it. It doesn't seem to last that long.
As much as I love Tom Ford, this was not my favorite. I can’t place my finger on the exact note that bugs me, but I just don’t feel that it works with my body chemistry. It is still very nice and I did receive many compliments while wearing it, so there’s that.
AMAZING! Clean but still masculine. Great summer fragrance for men.
I think 3 stars is too low so I gave it a 4 not a bad fragrance but for the price, I'd want something that lasts longer, and is a bit more unique. It's a good fragrance but not great
I love this fragrance so much that I had to buy a full bottle. It’s a great summer fragrance. Very citrusy.
Smells good but not long lasting.
Smells like sunscreen…a day at the beach/pool
Smells good but does not last long at all.
Didn't love the longevity, otherwise, it was delightful
I'm not extremely picky on scents but this one is absolutely horrible. It smells like a combination of sunscreen and your grandma's house.
Didn’t last as long as I’d like
I was impressed
Stinks, smells like and old lady
If rated on the smell, five stars. But it just doesn’t perform well. Becomes a skin agent quickly. Such a shame.
Smells like sunscreen & chemicals to me. Like Coppersport. Lasts pretty long and projection is good. I just don’t like smelling like I do when I’m laying out to tan.
Smells amazing. Strong opening with decent projection. Would rate 5 but the longevity is dissatisfying.
It is giving being on a boat at the beach in the summertime. Salt water breeze mixed with sunscreen, major summertime vibes. I got this one and acqua di sale at the same time to compare and I do like the acqua di sale a bit better but they are very similar and it just comes down to personal preference. Of the Tom Ford scents I've tried this is one of the better ones. After a couple hours this one mellows out quite a bit and isn't very noticeable.
Very nice scent I like it very much
It is gorgeous
At first smelling this it was strong & filled the room with just 2 sprays. As it wore down I’m really starting to like it. It’s different than the sweet gourmand or fruit smells I usually use. I like it it smells better than the newer Tom Ford Velvet Orchid. I actually got this as a mistake. I don’t like unisex fragrances but this is nice.
I did not like it at all glad Scent box let me return it
Beautiful
New favorite, fresh and not heavy.
I smell like that rich man that won't return her calls
Easily the worst smelling perfume I've received from SB. Returned promptly.
The best hands down I’m buying the full bottle now
shits gas
Great scent. I really like it. Would have given it 5 stars but the longevity is not very good. I get like 2 hours out of this one.
Great scent! Very similar to 4711 with a better dry down and longer projection. Hopefully it lasts for my whole Roman vacation.
It's an interesting scent but I don't think it goes with my chemistry. I ended up layering D&G Light Blue over it to soften it a little
NeroliTomFord, I was confused at first, because of a nostalgic feeling it gave me. Then second try I feel in love with it. Daytime Gentleman Scent:
The way I got compliments from this fragrance is crazy. Was told that it lingers in the spot it stand it and that it smelt overall really good
Very strong, smells nice.
Nice, but a bit too lemon-scented for me. Pleasant, but not a fav.
Lovely fresh scent. To my nose, mostly lemon and bergamot but the hints of the other notes soften it. It is not an aggressive scent so it could be worn in the office, or for casual wear.
Love!!! This will be my signature scent this summer! It is literally sunshine in a bottle. So fresh, and clean. My favorite scent of the moment
Love it very classic scent and anybody could wear it .
Smells really nice
First I will say this fragrance is nothing like what I usually wear, and while I recognise it as something I have smelled before, I admittedly didn't really know what neroli smelled like before now and would have described it as honeysuckle. It reminds me of the green heady citrusey scent of honeysuckle vines in the heat of summer. Like lemon and honey and tomato vine. While I don't mind the constant compliments recieved when wearing it, I just don't feel like myself. I imagine it as the perfect summer fragrance for the refined girl next door; effortless in her beauty, friendly, warm, and approachable. Given its popularity in public and gentle sillage I also think it would be a great office scent.
I like this fragrance. At first it opens up as a somewhat harsh citrus scent and when I first smelled this I wasn’t sure I’d like it. However, I waited for the opening to diffuse. I’m very pleasantly surprised with how it smells later. It’s also nice layered with other citrus or fresh scents and adds longevity.
Was very excited to try this scent, however it was terrible. I would compare it to the scent to that of baby wipes. It’s also more on the feminine end and cannot picture a man wearing this. Overall a 1 out of 10 for me.
I’ve been trying to get this perfume at an affordable cost for years. If a perfume has that kind of hold on you, it’s gotta be good. The best summer fragrance. Obviously lasting power is bad, and sillage isn’t what a high end perfume should be, but sometimes the smell of something is worth all the other bad qualities. Smells so good.
Awful
At first it was WAY TOO flowery. But once it mixed into my skin/oils it had a very nice smell. I Can see myself wear this to the gym.
Love this scent it’s has a lovely fresh smell and is long lasting
Not Tom Fords best attempt at a scent.
Love it so fresh and long lasting ????
Very nice Neroli fragrance. I have found it hard to find a Neroli that is long lasting and keeps it's sweet smell for a long time. This is one of the best. It still doesn't smell quite like a bowl of fresh orange blossoms (which are absolutely heavenly) but it is reminiscent and probably as close as you will get in a perfume.
Awful. Smelled like bug spray on both my husband and myself. Unfortunately it was also long lasting, no amount of soap and water could rid us of that smell.
This scent does nothing for my lady or I, for me it seems vaguely reminiscent of the offgassing of paint drying
Scent is decent but only last briefly. There is no way i would ever buy this again.
Smells great but doesn't have longevity
I really wanted to love this since I first read what the scent notes are. It's nothing like I thought it would be. It wasnt light, fresh, or crisp. It felt heavy and had a weird note I couldn't figure out. Patchouli maybe? I thought the longevity was awful. Not even an hour and a half on me. This wouldn't have been worth the money to get a big bottle. I thought this would be my new perfume I would gladly splurge for bc it was amazing. Mayne I built it up to much but in the end I am just sad and disappointed.
Its interesting to say the least, not my favorite
Can't say I've ever smelled anything like it. Reminded me of smelling lemon trees flowering in the middle of the night in California.
At first I was thrower off a little. I felt it was a little feminine but this has really grown on me I love it, and my girl loves it too
This smells like J&J baby cologne. It’s a nice summer scent but it has horrible performance. Lasts maybe an hour or so on my skin. Maison Alhambra has a clone of this that lasts longer.
I think this is more for a man! It’s fresh and smells good but not for woman.
To me the scent reminds me of the 1980’s oil bath beads, pretty floral and feminine for a men’s cologne. Maybe to a springtime brunch it would work well.
Smells so good and fresh, a pleasant scent for summer.
I think this is a pretty feminine fragrance in that, on me, the neroli and jasmine really shine through. It really does remind me of walking through a grove of blooming citrus trees. I like it enough that I'd buy a full sized bottle but I think I might get tired of it quickly. I'll see how it goes with the sample.
Smells pretty good!
Smells like cheap hair spray.
A bit heavy on the feminine side. It's a nice floral with a small hint of spice to its aroma. Ended up giving it to a lady who is a coworker of mine. Overall nice scent but not for me.
I like the smell.
I love this stuff!
I found this scent to be very weak and light
It smells exactly like the perfume area at Dillard's. It's not offensive, but not something I would get again and not a smell I would seek out for myself. If I smelled it on someone else, it's not one of those fragrances that I'd be inclined to ask what it was or even to mention at all. I'd say it leans masculine.
Absolutely not my thing. But I can see how others may like it
Clean scent and clean fill, I'd buy a bottle, but the price is pretty tough
It was very strange: the first whiff was intoxicating, but almost immediately afterwards, all I could smell was patchouli. Very heavy patchouli, and I was dumbfounded. No citrus fruit at all, just this incense/patchouli aroma that was NOT for me.
Not for dudes
I usually find Tom Ford perfumes to be quite loud and heavy. This is so nice and breezy and really takes you away on a beautiful summer holiday! So lovely for the summer time, it's not too heavy or punchy. Just really uplifting and happy. Lovely as a day fragrance. This is a fragrance I find myself gravitating towards after days at the pool, or when I need to give my nose a rest from much more complex scents.
Nice fragrance.
I love the smell. It’s addictive
Very clean, soapy scent. Strong bergamot smell I like. Great for the gym or after the shower, but kinda needs heat to open up. I wouldn't get a whole bottle bc I prefer soleil neige personally, but it's nice. On me, soleil neige lasts a lot longer and has a more welcoming scent.
A great spring and summer scent, it’s not too sweet or citrusy. I also smell a nice watery scent to it. One spray lasted all day on me, it did get lighter when the day went on. At night I was still able to smell this, I’m really impressed by it.
Grandmother smell
This smells like an old lady
A VERY expensive version of 4711's Original cologne. It obviously lasts longer, but the soul of this scent, which is its mediterranean citrus freshness, vanishes after about 15 minutes, leaving an ambery, woody base. This is what sticks around the longest. I personally would rather have to Spritz a $40 27 oz bottle of 4711 every 90 minutes than pay $375 for a 1.7 oz bottle of perfume with the same notes and a marginally better scent longevity. Great scent, but save your Tom Ford money for Lost Cherry or Bitter Peach.
Lovely, fresh, sweet with citrus and florals. Perfect upscale summer fragrance.
Smells great. Same issue with it not lasting. For an EDP and an expensive one it should last l.
Scent Is great didn't stay long throughout the day
I love this one this deserves +5 stars
Nice bright citrus smell perfect for summer.
Pretty good.
Definitely unisex. Took me a bit of time to warm up to the scent but I love it! Great for summer days.
Definitely more on the feminine end than masculine. Something a classy older woman would smell like.
