African Leather is a scent for both men and women launched in 2015. It is a leather based fragrance that includes spices and earthy notes for a unique touch. Aromatic spices add an exotic feel, with saffron, cardamom and cumin all creating a seductive heat.

Notes of vetiver and bergamot create green tones, with a hint of balsam and bitterness. Patchouli, oud and musk are earthy, deep scents that complement the spices in the fragrance. Geranium adds a light floral to the combination. Leather is the underlying note throughout the fragrance, as its namesake. The strong sillage of the scent leaves you trailing an aroma of fragrant spices and rich leather all day, as it develops and settles on the skin.

First for me, I heard this was better than ombre leather. Ombre leather smells to feminine for me, strong leather but the rose after smells like a woman so i wanted to try something else and this is better although not as strong on the leather (wish the leather was stronger) its still a really good masculine scent, Threw this baby on in the Chicago winter and got lots of compliments. Would def buy the big bottle and def recommend

This fragrance on me lasted 14hrs. I couldn't tell you anything about notes but I smelled it once in a Nemo discovery set and it was by far the best in the collection. I've worn it twice so far and I was told I smell like a million bucks. Saving up for a full bottle now.

Opens as an animalic, spicy floral with cardamon and dries down to a spicy peach iced tea with a clean leather backbone. The cardamom/geranium combination in this reminds me slightly of Layton or Layton exclusif, without vanilla, and replacing the apple with bergamot. However they don't smell alike, this scent is fresher and doesn't have the menthol smell. Worn a sample only for a day and I'm really impressed by this. The longevity is great, the projection is beastly, and the sillage definitely lingers.

African Leather is incredible. No brainer 5 star scent. Beautiful opening, heart and dry down. If you love high quality cardamom and fine leather this is for you. It’s one of the most beautiful scents I’ve put my nose on. Great feedback from others as well.

This leans less unisex and more masculine. My husband smelled notes of citrus. But I smell incense. He likes it, but I would never wear this outside the house. Its not bad. Just not for me. Its longevity was maybe an hour. But I stays on the skin for an up-close smell, for longer. Its more a 2.5, but I gave it a 3, because the hubby said he’ll wear it.

One of the best fragrances I have ever smelled, the opening is spicy and floral, the dry down goes leathery and incense and earthy but not in a hippy way. There’s nothing that I’ve ever smelled that smells similar. It smells expensive, it’s a compliment beast. African Leather will get you the compliments. Last about 6 hours on me the sillage is a couple feet, maybe. I really do love this one. Phenomenal! It smells mysterious. You’re gonna wet some panties, women LOVE IT!
