Definitely a layering perfume. By itself it just smells like almond cookies and cigarettes on me for some reason. It is a nice base layer for other gourmands though.

It’s all almonds with a vanilla undertone. The anis in it give it some depth and a « je ne sais quoi »… Somehow all these does not smell edible; it rather evokes a fancy lotion.

I mean this in the nicest way when I say this smells like almonds and sunscreen lotion. It’s not cloyingly sweet or outright gourmand. This would be great on a hot summer day.

Confetto is pretty and I like it. Reminds me a bit of an anise cookie. It doesn't seem to project very much, and it also gives me a slight weedy/pot vibe at times, which I don't prefer. When it's not giving me that vibe, it's very pretty in a gourmand/easter type way.

I really really love this! A lot of perfumes smell alike to me. This smells different. The almond shows up and i love it. It’s not what i normally consider gourmand to me, it lacks the overdone sweetness and sugary vanilla. It lasts all day. As someone who loved L’Artisan Jour De Féte but wished it had more sillage and longevity i really enjoy this!

This smells fantastic-atfirst. At this price point, I’m not impressed. Dior Hypnotic Poison is the feeling I get, and I rarely wear it. I’m glad I only have this small size.

I really wanted to like this - I've been looking for a nice almond scent. This eventually dries down very similar to Hypnotic Poison, but at first there's something else that smells like bug spray, at least on me. I'd rather just have Hypnotic Poison the whole time.

This is a almond lover's perfume for sure, with great lasting power. It is sweet but not too sugary. If you are having a sweet craving this one might not go it for you, but if you want to smell edible but complex this is a great choice.
