Xerjoff
As Xerjoff's homage to literature and poetry, More Than Words is proof that the greatest phrases often come from unexpected combinations. Part sumptuous fruity floral, part complex resin drenched oriental, More Than Words achieves true poetic balance with a composition that celebrates the individuality of its disparate elements without ever sacrificing the captivating blend of the whole fragrance.
While an intoxicating accord of sweet fruit dominates the opening of More Than Words, it also indicates the unpredictability to come, with individual moments of smoky labdanum and wood creeping in just enough to surprise and enchant. As the sweetness dries, the fragrance bounds further into exotic territory, with oud and benzoin providing a warm, sensual backdrop.
A waxing and waning frankincense brings everything together with such natural precision that it's easy to forget how bold the whole thing really is. Like all great writing, More Than Words is something more than the sum of its parts.
More Than Words by Xerjoff is a Amber Woody fragrance for women and men. More Than Words was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Chris Maurice.

Rose-Oud. Very large siillage and longevity. I think this is an opinion divider. Really enjoyed some phases of it and really didn't like some others - I thought the opening was great and I thought the drydown (5+ hours later) was great. Longevity is very good - if I apply in the morning it will be a very nice skin scent in the evening. However...somewhere in the middle it loses me. I've separately thought it smells like mature cheese and like old beer mats - a sort of tanginess I don't appreciate. I have to say I've received nothing but compliments and I would still wear it - but definitely not something I would buy a bottle of.
Someone mentioned it smelled like ink on paper... I have to agree with that. This fragrance just did not smell right on me, but I know this is a huge hit with others, this did not work for me. I would definitely say if the description and notes are something that you love, you should try it. It has genuine lasting power which has been incredibly consistent with Xerioff and I will keep trying their scents for that.
Rich, warm and addicting
This scent smells exactly like ink on paper. I’m a writer and I knew what it smelled like immediately and goes with the Writing Club theme of this fragrance from the JTC collection.
Beautiful. Some people may consider this a fall scent but this seems perfect all year to me.
This has fruits (maybe stonefruits), maybe a bit of oud and ambergris (which I tend to be afraid of, but didn't find it overbearing here) and some resins. I liked it very much. It may lean a bit masculine on the dry-down, but not enough to bother me or keep me from wearing it.
It’s a more masculine scent in my opinion. Smells good. It lasts a long time to.
Not a favorite. Not a stand alone fragrance. I'll only use it as an underlayer for another scent.
It’s an ok scent, not as strong as I thought it would we!
I can see how some may like this one. To me, it smells like Delina, which I can’t stand.
Smells like champagne! So beautiful! Performance is great. Xerjoff are quickly becoming my favorite house, they just perform so well
It’s a nice perfume. Good sillage, gender-neutral, and smells expensive. To me, this smells like an ambery resin, mulled fruit, and wood. If this were colors, I think it would be deep gold and plummy-purple.
Smells similar to burberry touch to me
I absolutely love this scent. It lasts all day and I received compliments from men and women all day. A must buy!
Smells great, had to grow on me at first! Last a long time.
nice scent
Got my first scentbox perfume. It's strong! So i dont think more than 2 sprays is needed...mayyyybe 3. I can tell its unisex. Its more masculine than I was expecting though. But smells good. I would sat it smells sexy.
