This fragrance was a little lighter than I was expecting and didn’t have much longevity. Nice fresh scent though, dried down to a nice masculine skin scent.

A little metallic in opening, not a huge problem. Overall very nice smelling fragrance. Not as overpowering as EDT version. Good performance about 6+ hours for me, some say 8 but I get a little more like 6.

It is slightly different than the EDT version. Smoother. Not as sharp and harsh. I do like this one. I loved the EDT, being a fresh fragrance guy. I do believe this is a slight improvement over the original. Smells great

It's Sauvage, so as usual, it's great. Compliment getter, mature fragrance, and pretty neutral. Can easily be worn in any casual environment, regardless of most dress codes, it's non offensive. It's a bit metallic to the nose, it's nice. It's what I'd call a chameleon fragrance, it's easily dressed up or down, and tends to seem confident in itself regardless of what's going on. Always smells appropriate and smells like it makes sense. I'd say ages 18-30+. Definitely a projector, and long lasting. I spray 2-4 spritzes and it lasts all day very easily, it doesn't struggle to make it 8hrs. Very oily in content as well. This is an all season smell for sure. In an office close quarter setting 2 full sprays absolutely max, if you don't want to step on toes to make it to the top, spray 5 times and your boss will have to give you the promotion cause everybody on your floor will have suffocated.

Always a fantastic smell for really any occasion. It lasts a long time too, turns into a real nice subtle smell after a couple hours.

Don't have a sophisticated nose to determine notes, but I do know this smells awesome. A new go to for me.

Smells great but does not last on my skin. If you are looking for Sauvage, go for the EDT versus the EDP. I hear it lasts longer and the projection is better. I also think this one smells better when it’s dry.

An absolute sexy, masculine fragrance! Even though this is such a popular fragrance now, it definitely gets some positive attention still. This fragrance will definitely resonate for generations. The problem is you're going to smell like 80% of guys who pass you. The curse of producing a great smelling fragrance. This is definitely in my top 10!

Good but I love EDT more. Dose not last long though, I guess they reformulated the whole Sauvage line.

Great scent. It is a good in-between between the EDT and Parfum and has attributes of both. It is also more office friendly than the EDT.

Not all that a bit musky

This one was a gift for my daughter (25 yrs.) She has a difficult time finding "the" right scent that is meant for women. Scents that are designed for men work better on her. It all has to do with your body temps and PH levels. She tried this one at the department store and fell in love. Since it is too high of a price at the store, I surprised her by trying to find this one on ScentBox. It is a strong scent that smells even good when it is wearing off after a whole day. Next day I could still smell it lingering in my car, but it smelt pleasant. Heavy undertones, but warm. Very much an evening or fall winter scent when the outdoor temperatures are getting colder. Two spritzes is enough to last long. No need to overspray then you ruin the scent. I have always loved a CDior so that is a deal for me. Will buy this one again for sure for my husband.

This one grew on me after the first time wearing once the top notes mellow out you get a less peppery scent and a more fresh and musky scent. definitely worth trying

I know alot of folks aren't impressed by Sauvage anymore, but I can't get over how much better the EDP smells than the EDT. I am at a place in life, where I still enjoy compliments but I don't want my fragrance to announce my arrival anywhere. Monster projection for me is somewhere around an hour. The opening is peppery goodness, fresh and sweet. After about 30 min or so the pepper dies down and this thing turns sweet, but retains that freshness. Fell asleep and woke up the next morning, and wife still caught the scent trail 16+ hrs after application. I'm really impressed with the EDP, and I like that the metallic edge in the EDT is missing from this one. Little more refined, but still youthful.

Not quite as spicy or peppery as I was expecting until several hours later. Very clean, powdery, and masculine though. It's a classic for a reason.

I get compliments on this everytime I wear it. Men and women ask me about it. I work in a plant where there's welding and other things going on and people can still smell it. I work a 10 hour shift and people still ask me about it after 6 or 7 hours. It's my new daily.

I’d say this is for a man 40 and up. It’s alright, nothing to rave about.

This is my all time favorite. However, the packaging was very cheap and not presentable as when I received my first fragrance. What happened to the bi-fold gift box???

Just not my favorite scent. I'm not a big fan of perfumes/colognes smelling like aftershave.

It is a nice scent. It does last long and my lady loves it. I can smell it on myself all day. Due to social distancing and my recent heart surgery, I have not been able to tell if others can smell it from afar. My lady does have allergies though and it is difficult for her to normally know when I have on a scent, but she truly loves this one.

Solid fragrance and the projection is top notch for an EDP. Got compliments at work and people smelled it easily through their masks. It's missing the heavy ambroxan that I love in the original though.

Dior Sauvage is a very bright fragrance with a hefty dose of ambroxan. The top notes of Bergamot coupled with Amberwood are intoxicating. The perfumer definitely got it right. This is one to add to your collection as either a signature sent or easy reach when you want to smell great.

Got compliments the very first day. It’s got a syrupy opening with a bitter rind underneath. It’s smooth but can come off just a tad soapy and harsh.

Only wore it one time. Did receive a compliment. Nothing groundbreaking here. Designed to have mass appeal.

Great Scent. Deftly much "darker" than the EDT version, with less of the light citrus notes and more woody, earthy notes. Totally different scent than the EDT. About 4-6hours longevity and does get compliments. Soft to moderate sillage, depending on how hot it is. Recommend.

Smells like a soapy drakkar noir or axe body spray which reminds me of middle school. The citrus notes do not come through like I had hoped. They're heavily masked by the soap/aquatic notes. It's a quality scent but it doesn't speak to me. People love it, so even if you don't, you will enjoy the compliments you receive. Honestly, I'm surprised by the immense popularity of this fragrance. I won't return it because it is strong and has great longevity but it just doesn't excite me. I was excited to try it after reading the reviews but I find reviews don't matter much when it comes to individual taste in fragrances.

This is the type of fragrance that I tend to gravitate toward in general and enjoy. It's very woody and masculine but I can easily see it being unisex for women who don't like to always smell sweet and fruity. I think some people would call it a bit aquatic but I don't really think that personally. It's a strong scent - not like it's overpowering but like it has a lot of character and shows an intensity in the notes. It smells adventurous to me and also clean like someone fresh out of the shower. It also reminds me of my Dad which is a positive for me.

This is a great fragrance! I wasn't sure about it at first, but I ended up liking it. The one thing I wasn't so into, was that it almost smells like detergent. A little soapy at first. As it changes it gets that nice citrus smell. It was a bit strong for me, so I actually ended up getting the EDT version. Overall I give it a 4/5.

Honestly I'm more of a fan of Fahrenheit from Dior. This one is good. I got alot of compliments for it... like alot. Can't pt my finger on the scents origin but it comes across as almost like a powdery clean. Almost Johnson and Johnson baby soap ish. I like it but not my favourite Dior. Would recommend for casual day to day. People def can smell from across a counter or a desk.

Wonderful scent. Great aroma, and not offensive to wear in an office or intimate setting. As much as I absolutely despise the ad campaign with Johnny Depp, I must admit I'm a big fan of this fragrance. I'll likely purchase a full-size bottle to add to the collection.

Fabulous scent. It has a moderate sillage and now 3 woman have gotten in closer to specifically smell this better.

Very good scent! Hard not to like if you like the EDT. A little toned down in terms of projection, but lasts just as long as EDT. It's not as overbearing as the EDT, so this is more manageable in an office setting or somewhere you will be around a lot of people. Longevity was around 6-7 hours on my skin.

Great scent last long

This is an amazing fragrance in the winter/spring time. Wore this as part of my weekly rotation and got 3 complements through out the night. As an EDP you can get a pretty good sillage and the longevity can last a good 6-8 hours if not more. Definitely one of the top fragrances for a reason.

Smells clean but is lacking a bit of sweetness that would make it smell fresher for my taste. Also smells a bit powdery. Overall a good scent for the summer months.

Statement making is the what comes to mind when I pull this fragrance out of the lineup. Upon arrival I used one spritz on a sticky note just to allow my coworkers to smell, and the aroma fills the building. Fast forward 24 hours and the building still smells like Sauvage Eau De Parfum.
