I love this. Definitely give the line of attention cause how sweet it smells. The only reason is that five stars. I just don’t feel like I could wear this every day. Feels like it’s a cologne for a special event, which is a good thing.
Absolutely love this fragrance! I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 because the longevity isnt that great considering the price. To me this smells like an expensive spicey red Starburst (the candy).
I wanted to love this but just don’t. There is a note in it that I really don’t like, maybe saffron or something that makes it feel too mature and not at all gourmand as I was anticipating. Longevity is incredible, but really just not for me.
Def not what I'd usually wear. It's more of a baked bread wth a chocolate type gourmand feel to it. Maybe good for a fall night. Not for a special occasion
Xerjoff’s Casamorati Italica is undoubtedly impressive in its performance—this fragrance lasts for hours, easily earning praise for its longevity. The scent leans heavily into a sweetened milk note, which dominates the composition. While this creamy, gourmand profile might appeal to fans of dessert-like fragrances, it felt somewhat one-dimensional to me. The official notes include almond, milk, and saffron at the top, a heart of bourbon vanilla and toffee, and a base of sandalwood, cedar, and musk. However, the sweeter facets overpower the complexity, which might leave some wanting more balance. Even though I’m uncertain about Italica itself, Xerjoff’s commitment to rich, enduring fragrances has left me eager to try more from the brand.
i didn't love this at all. to me its very powdery and almost spicy or musky, not super sweet at all. id say its definitely a more mature / unisex perfume. i dont absolutely hate it but would not buy again.
Evoques a sweet treat with some spice in it. Very warm with moderate projection and silage. This one looked good on paper because I love gourmands… but it did not sing to me. It’s rather flat.
Warm vanilla and coconut
At first the bourbon in the fragrance was too strong for me but that didn’t last. I love the dry down. It’s a delicious warm sweet gourmand and I love the almond that sits on top.
Doesn't give me a headache like most high end perfume, I Love It!!
Delicious bright smell. Very gourmand, exactly what I was looking for. Last a good amount of time. Very sexy gourmand smell that it great for both men and women.
Smells like baked goods. Not overly sweet or spicy. Is on the pricier side though.
Beautiful,I get some caramel and woody notes on my skin, very long lasting aswell
4 because I agree it’s not overly unique.. but I actually like it! Very clean Almond scent for me. I like to wear it out of the shower and it dries down with a lot of warmth. Didn’t smell like I had expected based on note description
Wanted this to be a beautiful gourmand. Opening is toffee, biscuits and milk. Unfortunately on the dry down my skin really pulls the almond in a marzipan/amaretto almost medicinal cherry like way. Awful, was a scrubber for me.
A gourmand staple, but doesn’t feel unique. It’s pretty and sweet, but there is a burnt toffee note that makes it a little more mature. The sample is enough for me. I won’t purchase the full size. It did not last on me, only 3 hours to the minute. The sillage is about 4 feet, my coworker smelled it when I sat next to her not before that. Definitely more intimate scent, maybe for a warm at home date night.
Based on the scent notes I thought this would be a yummy gourmand but it was an intensely strong powdery scent. Wasn’t a fan.
I love this fragrance nice and sweet
I was looking forward to this but it was not what I expected at all. Has an artificial smell to it too. The only good thing is how long it lasts .. which for me was terrible because I couldn’t get it off.
I LOVED this scent. A warm sweet creamy gourmand. Intoxicating. Layered. Rich.
Not for me
It’s ok
Not for me...it has a plastic note on the background that makes it a bit unpleasant
This fragrance is sweet but milky, kinda cookie like but not overly sweet. I enjoy it.
Sweet almond goodness. Definitely a gourmand-- I get mostly toffee and almond.
I expected to really like this one. I usually love sweet gourmands, unfortunately this didn't come across as sweet to me. I get the almond and a bit of sweet milk but the saffron totally takes over in an odd floral smokey way and I get zero toffee smell from this. It's not gross smelling but definitely not what I hoped for based on the notes
A lot of almond very sweet smells like a bakery… literally milk, almond, toffee, spices. Too sweet for me but definitely can layer this with other things.
it definitely comes off strong, i'm just not sure if it's a strong scent i enjoy for myself as i feel the toffee is overpowering in a sickeningly way
Soft, sweet and warm. I feel that it sits very close to the skin and doesn't last very long. I like something a bit more bold. Nice for winter days.
Enjoyed the scent but just did not last on my skin
Unlike any other perfume I have in my collection. I'm not a huge fan of gourmands, but this one is interesting because to my nose it smells exactly like an almond holiday cookie. I like it but I'll probably only wear it seasonally and for unique situations.
Kind of smells like a bland candle. I sprayed 3 times to get the scent to come through
I personally did not like this at all the saffron is overkill. It’s sweet and strange almost medicinal.
This smells rancid. Like something leaking from a car. I'm not sure who would like this
I noticed the almond fragrance right away. It’s a sweet, milky scent. I like it but, I just don’t love it. It reminds me of a Jergens almond lotion from long ago, albeit much more complex and sophisticated. If you like the smell of almond/cherries and Amaretto, you love this!
It is a decent gourmand. The saffron is what I think is not my favorite. I definitely get the milkyness and the almond. It almost smells like Amaretto. With a spicy note to it. It will take some getting used to but it would be better to layer with something else equally as sweet or even flowery to offset that note that I’m not so fond of.
Ok sounds weird but kind smells like car freshener but in a good way I know but hear me out very gourmand has hints of leather, cherry, caramel, maybe a chocolate. It smells sweet and cookie like. It sits on skin but radiates lightly definitely make me want to smell myself. I paired it with a vanilla lotion and I definitely smelled edible. I would like to get this again but not for $300 I’ll definitely find something else but worth the sample.
I never knew I loved almonds in a perfume until now. So yummy and decadent. Smooth & elevated *chef’s kiss*
This mostly smells like tart cherry to me. I was hoping for more almond and vanilla. It’s ok.
At first spray I was a bit overwhelmed by the scent and was worried I wouldn’t like it. You can definitely smell the almonds strong at the start. However, just a few minutes into the dry down this fragrance settles into a soft and warm almond cookie scent. It’s not cloyingly sweet like a bath and body works dessert spray, it’s much more sophisticated and complex. I was blown away by this fragrance after the first wear and now I’m saving up to buy a full bottle :)
This one took me on a ride! At first I really had no idea if i hated it or loved it. But it kept me intrigued enough to stick around. It slowly started to blend into this almond spiced cookie. It really become very gourmand on my skin and I love it. This is a fall scent to me, made for those chilly days
Sharp and disgustingly sweet, spicy cherry-syrup scent. This smells like a cheap Christmas candle. The almond leans so far to the cherry side that unless you saw the notes breakdown you wouldn’t describe this as an almond scent. Definitely NOT a safe blind buy even for a gourmand lover such as myself.
This started out as a really strong gourmand for me- smells very similar to a cherry/ almond vibe with a bit of a toffee dry down. It's incredibly strong for a gourmand, and at first spray I really loved it. After wearing it for an hour or two though, it started getting nauseatingly sweet/ strong to my nose. I really love gourmands and love a strong fragrance but something in this one didn't sit well with me.
This is a beautiful fragrance that did sadly did not sit well on my skin. I agree that it is a cool weather fragrance, rich and long lasting.
This Fragrance is just phenomenal!!! Long lasting! Smells great!! A gourmand lovers dream!
Normally not a fan of gourmand or sweet scents but I rather enjoy this one. I definitely get a cherry note like other reviews stated, which must be the almond and bourbon combined. I agree this is a cold weather scent only and not really full bottle worthy but I might select it again in my subscription
Lasted 19 hours on my skin, not a huge fan of gourmand fragrances, but this one is perfect for holiday and I’ve never had a fragrance last that long on my skin.
There’s something about it I don’t like. I’ll start off by saying this is a mature scent in my opinion it does give off a little sweetness. Just not my taste
Love this fragrance. Worth the buy. smells best in colder weather. Many compliments
Not quite what I expected. Smelled quite like cherries and I'm not sure why. But not a bad smell
The more I wear this, the more i WANT to wear it. It was a strong scent right out of the box but in a delicious, cozy way that makes it a joy to wear throughout the day. Really enjoying this!
It's okay, but too powdery.
not really a fan of this
LOVE!
Long lasting, almond gourmand. Very high quality. This perfume house is amazing.
I do not like this fragrance, gave it away immediately!
Didn’t really care for this one. It kind of has a old antique smell to it that I didnt like, I don’t smell anything gourmand as a lot of people has described
Not a fan ??
smelled like leather
This smells like a toffee cookie. Italica doesn't even smell like perfume, it just smells like food! It's so warm and comforting and it makes my mouth water. I definitely get the almond, the milk, and a spicy-sweetness. One of those perfumes that almost smells like a texture -- I imagine a crumbling Biscoff cookie. It's amazing in the air as well, even better than sniffing it up close. Strictly for fall/winter and the holidays, I think!
Amazing almond scent, perfect for fall or winter. I can’t wait to wear this as the weather cools down.
