I Love it!!!!

The highest string on the cello is often described as "brilliant, sharp, and piercing" and Amber cello opens the same as a cellos A string. BUT WAIT! This beauty does calm down and the all the notes start to blend together more strategically. If I didn't know the knows & had to guess I would have guessed, bergamot, sandalwood, cedar, vanilla, Amber. Although not a single woody note is listed you can def pick it up and it's almost as though your sticking your head inside of the cello and smelling it's timbre. I love this perfume, but I also love sandalwood frags and darker similar frags like black afgano, and cuir beluga, tho cello is slightly deeper than cuir beluga, but I still adore all of these. Cello is the definition of a niche frag. It's not going to be for everyone, but those who do like it ..will enjoy wearing it, and find the beauty in it. This is so complex imo, how the make it smell woody with no woods, how they grab our attention with that sharp bergamot opening, and then how they relax us with the benzoin, vanilla & Tonka. Good thing scent box is the perfect way to sample these difficult niche frags. This is completely unisex imo AS LONG AS you enjoy deeper, unisex, woody, warm, cedar type of scents. The vanilla and Tonka keep this frag unisex and from going TOO dark or too woody. Projection and sillage was great on my skin. I rate this an 8.5/10

Strong spicy woody…. Not the best of its kind. Won’t return it, but won’t wear often. I layer honey or vanilla with it which helps a bit.

Just wasn't for me

It's pretty pungent, not very smooth and will kinda give you a headache if you aren't used to strong scents

This is complex, gorgeous and has all the notes I want in a fragrance.

This fragrance stinks

Really like this. It kind of grows on you. It is strong..very musky, woodsy. But I enjoy wearing it. I agree that it is not for all. If you like a light, floral fragrance, this definitely is not for you.
