Green Wood by Dsquared2 is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Green Wood was launched in 2019. Top notes are Lemon, Santolina and Bourbon Pepper. Middle notes are Vetiver, Cedar and resins. Base notes are Ambroxan, Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha and Musk.

Green Wood is very underrated. It’s a fresh, safe, citrus wood and musk that just smells great. It’s not unique, but not everything has to be daring to be enjoyed. Lush green notes, a lemon note which is not especially bitter, tiny bit of pepper, and really accessible bed of vetiver. It’s hard to make out specific notes since it’s well blended. There’s a natural sweetness to it that is enjoyed and others have complimented. Very easy to wear. The performance is fantastic.

The face of the advertising campaign is Austrian model Julian Schneyder, under the artistic direction of Dean and Dan Catten, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.

I wanted to like this one but its just not for me. I think its a body chemistry thing. It smelled much different to me when I put it on as opposed to what it smelled like when I sniffed the bottle. I also noticed people asked me what the cologne was, but not necessarily in a complimentary way. Perhaps to make sure they didn't buy it. On another note, it was long lasting...which wasn't necessarily a good thing in this case. One of very few I tossed before finishing the sampler.

smells good overtime of using it but the downside is if you have not tried this before like me, for first time of smelling it, it smelt like that common cheap cologne you can buy everywhere, thats bad because you dont want to smell like that when people smelling you for the first time you want to smell good on first impression, the type makes people ask you what fragrance you use because it smells so good to them, and imo this fragrance is not the type, ill pass on this one, onto the next fragrance!
