Hermes
Eau de Citron Noir is a part of Hermes Eaux de Cologne collection. It is inspired by a specific very flavourful ingredient in Middle Eastern cuisine black lime or noomi basra, which is dried lime, sour and even smoky, lacking the sweetness of fresh fruit.Main notes include black lime accord, lemon, black tea, citron, and Paraguayan wood. The nose behind this fragrance is Christine Nagel.
Eau de citron noir offers a unique and paradoxical imprint, a surprisingly persistent freshness which rises to the challenge of tenacity: it is the midday-to-midnight Cologne!
Following a path through the olfactory universe of hesperidia led me into a vast world, dotted with surprises, with citrus fruits. Finger lime, Buddha's hand fruit, Eureka lemon... So many unusual varieties of citrus appealed to me, but it was the smoky and distinguished black lime that finally stood out as the key note - Christine Nagel.

It's a dark citrus flavor that is nice. I would give a 3,5 but no option so it gets a 4. I do reach for it occasionally if I don't want to have a super strong fragrance on but it isn't a big go to.
meh... ok, not awesome as hoped
Citrusy, but to me, smells a little girly. My wife doesn't think so. She says it packs a punch, but I don't see it the same way.
