Not your typical men's scent my bf was iffy at first but it grew on him as he tried it a few days

Nice scent, however this is only a cold weather scent. If worn in the heat it does turn into an unpleasant smell. scent does not last long but it is a cheap fragrance.

Smells fantastic, one of my favorite warm fragrances. But it lasts about an hour tops which is extremely disappointing.

Legit smells like spit. I guess to each their own. But even after letting the scent air out it smells like saliva. Big fat nahh.

Very subtle and pleasant. It's kind of androgynous, which both me and my boyfriend like. Vaguely sweet, vanilla, warm, autumn-night type smell. Mature without being old-man smelling, it definitely doesn't smell like a teenager which is a huge bonus for the colognes.

This smells GREAT. I got the monthly sample and ordered a bottle immediately. Now, I’m wishing I hadn’t. Why? It doesn’t last. You’re lucky to get a couple of hours out of this one and then no one will know you’re wearing a cologne at all. Absolutely disappears - fast. Too bad, too; as this is a fantastic fragrance.

I also look forward to your comments on fragrances and will be trying this one out based on your comments. I like spicy, woody fragrances although I don't particularly like fragrances with anise in them. You mentioned trying L'Elephant by Kenzo and I was wondering if the anise in that would be too overpowering?

Well said! So true that the woman makes the scent - and likewise for men! Fragrance, personality, sense of style and how your present yourself...it all adds up to create a person's unique aura. It's interesting how I associate certain people by their fragrance, how it becomes such a part of them that it's not even a perfume I smell, but rather just *them*...if you know what I mean. And how some scents that I can't stand on myself smell so beautiful on other women. It's interesting. Do you have a signature scent or two that you usually reach for? Or are you someone (like me) who has a wide range of scents and a rather....uh...schizophrenic personality when it comes to perfumes?

I couldn't have said it any better - it IS a lot of fun on this site ;) OK I get your subtle hint, and you're right - we guys should post more opinions of ladies fragrances..although I must admit I don't often get a chance to be close enough to get a good sniff! Anyway I think most guys are easy, and at least for me, the scent doesn't make the woman, but the woman makes the scent...which is to say if we like you, we will like your perfume. Case in point- the last woman i was close with wore Liz Claiborne...and I loved it on her!

Just wanted to thank you for all your input on all of these men's fragrances. Reading thru reviews of scents that I consider for purchase, I always seek out the ladies' opinions first...and you somehow seem to manage to pop up on just about every scent I've ever considered, with your thoughtful and honest opinions and guidance...which you obviously know most of us desperately need (yes-we are mostly just a bunch of clueless stinky guys without you!) Anyway thanks again Barbara W., there may be many would-be kings of this site... but you are it's undisputed queen!! :)

Similarly bold to del mar, but a more mature, evening scent I'd say... probably better suited to colder weather. Heady, boozy and bold....but also not without it's subtle charms too. Best of the baldessarinis for me, and btw currently making the rounds at all the bargain outlets (already? hmm...) Note to p.e. - why do you charge the same for both sizes???

I really like this. First blast is a bit sweet (it is amber after all), but as it mellows the masculine, smoky tobacco notes take over. Sexy! Good one to try if you find Gaultier2 too feminine.
