Not my favorite, a little too powdery and overpowering for me!

I love this so much I wear it at home just for me. It's not an office perfume or a teenager's body spray. It makes me think of gothic dance clubs or spices in mysterious night time markets. I remember Colors De Benetton released a perfume in the 80s I was obsessed with & this kind of reminds me of it.

This one is rich and sweet, I received many compliments on it. With that being said I was also told by a few people more than once that this fragrance reminds people of an older lady at church. So as much as I love this scent I'm unsure of how to take that.

I can’t tell if I like it. Some whiffs of it are subtle and sexy, other times it’s musky and overpowering. The fragrance lasts several hours. Either way, it’s just not for me.

It smells nice. It isn’t one of my top 10’s but it is very nice. It’s floral, a little sweet, projects pretty well but doesn’t last very long on me. (Or I go nose blind to it. ) I haven’t received as many compliments when I wear it as I thought I would. If you like a feminine, slightly sweet, floral forward scent, you’ll love this.

Smell good at first! But noticed after it sits it has a menthol spell to it. Not my favorite.

Smells like gardenia mixed with old lady bathroom. Gross

This isn’t a bad perfume, but it’s just not one I’ll reach for. To me and on me, it smells a bit too much like rubbing alcohol. It’s not horrible and I can tell there’s fragrance mixed in there too, but that’s all my nose can smell really. Maybe it’s permanent post Covid after effects… obviously others enjoy this, so by all means I’m not trying to say avoid it. It’s just not for me. I have others that I like way more.

This perfume is very unique. I love the woodyness but it's not overwhelming, borderline sappy. It smells like you've been working out in the forest in the best way. Not overly offensive to the senses just a nice little outdoorsy scent

This is a mature scent. This is a scent to be worn in the winter as it has spice to it and could be worn for special occasions. It isn't for me but others around me seem to enjoy it.

Unique and not cloying. I was worried about longevity because I’m warmer bodied so I burn through perfume quicker but it lasts the entire day and I can still smell it on some of my jackets.

I honestly don’t know if I like this or not, it has something kinda sharp (mint or spice or such) that is just very unusual to me.

Unlike Alien Goddess, this perfume is a bit lighter and has an under tone of powder but the jasmine is very present. The sillage is lovely, fills the room. The scent lasts for hours and clings to clothing. perfect for a romantic night out, or a girl's night.

I wanted to love this one so bad. I had done research on how Mugler formulates their fragrances to be very polarizing, very - love or hate no in between. I was so exited for the complexity of this scent, and I could not wait to find out where I would end up on the polarization. Only to smell white florals. There is nothing exciting about this perfume. It is nice, it is pleasant. It is nothing to write home about. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of complexity and was very underwhelmed that despite the sheer number of notes in this fragrance, its just a very basic white floral.

If you like Gucci Bloom Ambrosia you will love this scent. Alien is not as floral forward but it has the same powder like profile. It also has that distinct mature smell to it. Reminds me of my 80 year old 5th grade English teacher. Others in my household love it!

I usually like woody fragrances, but this just wasn't the one for me!

I have tried other Mugler fragrances and loved them. So I thought I would try this and it did not disappoint.

I enjoy this for what it is. Luckily it's not nearly as powdery as a lot of reviews made it out to be. I think the woody notes are MUCH stronger whereas the powdery scent sort of lingers at the tail end. It's a very mature perfume, not in the sense of "an older person would love this" because I still think it's a little too unique to appease the older crowd. More mature in the sense of "a villain attending a rich ball dressed in their darkest attire" would absolutely wear this. I wish I could compare SOMETHING to this perfume to give some sort of idea on what to expect when you smell it, but aside from "woody" I've got nothing. Just like any Mugler perfume, sample it before you blindly buy it. I enjoy it enough to use up the rest of the sample I got, and if it just so happened to be gifted to me, I'd gladly accept it. It's just not my favorite Mugler scent out of the others I've collected, that's all.

There is a lingering waremelon scent that doesn’t sit well with me. I don’t like it.

I love to spray this bed as I wake frequently during the night and find beautiful fragrance keeps me feeling relaxed enough to fall asleep. Beautiful citrus and white flowers on a woody base, but with a special something that makes it unique.

This is a nice fragrance. It’s a deeper one. It’s not fruity and light if that’s what you are looking for. It’s more of a florally gourmand. I would call this an evening or special occasion scent. I wouldn’t recommend it for a hot day or a day at the office though. I wore it to church and was a little concerned with how strong it was before it had time to dry down. But the dry-down was pretty and the staying power is amazing. The next day I could stills smell it on the shirt I wore.

I love Alien!! I have been asked several times the name of my perfume because they love the scent.

Smells like a 90 year old woman. This was all over TikTok and I was super excited to try it. I am so happy I did before I purchased it. Seriously not a good scent.

I do like some powdery scents, but Alien is too powdery for me. I love Angel, and I guess I was expecting something more like it with this one.

Jasmine gives this a powdery smell through out the wear of the perfume. Definitely not for me personally, but it can be appreciated for what it is. I did not pick up anything sweet in the initial spray or dry down. Powdery smell was dominant and prominent without anything else coming through. Beast mode fragrance that is for special occasions or evening outings. Not a day or warm weather scent. Husband says it smells like a mom, not a wife.

At first I wasn’t a fan it’s a very powdery strong smell. It’s definitely not for the weak, if you get headache with strong smells you might want to stay away from this one. It’s beyond strong and I don’t really get any grapes or fruity smell that everyone claimed they got. Once it settled down I started to like it. It wasn’t as strong so you were able to get more of the notes and it smelled like the alien goddess a little. It’s one to have in the collections but definitely have to choose when and where to wear this very carefully overall if you haven’t tried it you definitely should.

The older versions are a bit more powdery and mature but this newer reformulation is just as lovely and gives a fresher, younger vibe to the fragrance. If you are an amber lover, you must try this!

This is definitely a unique scent and you love it or hate it. To me, it smells like Las Vegas— strong and a little cheap, but I do like the fragrance. It's not too sweet and perfect for daytime or a date. The dry down is very cozy. Just be careful where you wear it because it's not for everyone!

Top note is Jasmine; middle note is Woodsy Notes; base note is Amber. I am really not a fan of woodsy notes but this one was good I think the mix of the notes really helped. When it dried down still smelled the Jasmine. A strong scent that lasts all day.

I was watching a show online and this man mentioned he bought his wife and side chick the same perfume and said it was Alien. I clicked off the live and immediately tried Alien! It’s been my signature ever since! Although I don’t support that behavior, if a man buys his wife AND side piece the same perfume it HAS to be top tier haha! His scandalous self, led me to my favorite scent in the world! It smells RICH! It gives LUXURY! It gives MONEY. And it lasts all day !!!

Unique scent- I lived it at first but it dried down to a peppery powder on me, which wasn’t great. Had kind of an old lady vibe. Longevity was meh. I’m so glad scentbox exists so I won’t end up spending $150 on it like I was about to!

Very different and intriguing. Smells fresh, yet mystifying and changes smell. Mature scent around upper 20's I'd say, but if you love it you love it! Definitely different.

I wore it three days in a row and one co worker stated he could not stop smelling me!! ha! had to know what it was... It goes on bold dries down to a warm interesting scent, its sexy! I think the Amber is what makes it. Its femine, great for date night, special occassion, during the day go lightly... I loved it! If you re tired of Vanilla, sweet fragrance... then try this... its a winner! It reminds me of Dior Poison which when that launched you had to be on a waiting list to purchase it!

Not my favorite at all!

Fresh, clean scent. It reminds me of summer days at the beach. I took away a star because at first spray, it smells like peppermint or Pepto Bismol. But after a couple minutes, it mellows out into a very pleasant scent.

This is my favorite of the Mugler perfumes with Alien Goddess in second and Angel Nova in 3rd. I feel like Alien is the nighttime scent whereas the other 2 feel more like daytime scents. The fullsize bottles of all the Mugler perfumes are gorgeous and if you buy from Mugler directly they engrave them for free

At first it smells like strong baby powder but after it settles it has a good clean scent, it took me a few times to like it but I do now, it lasts all day for me even while getting sweaty

Grape soda in a perfume bottle. I know it might sound childish but hear me out... This one is one of the best Mugler's perfumes, Angel should be the one called Alien and this one should be the one called Angel, because Angel is so strange and odd, too many notes. This one seems simple but is very nice on the sweet side for sure. If you like grape juice or grape soda or even wine... THIS!! this will take you there.

AMAZING! This is the first scent box perfume that I’ve ordered that I absolutely love. I’ve heard of alien being described as too strong, or polarizing, with some people loving it and others hating it, but I’m not sure I understand those reviews—it has a moderate to strong sillage with one spray (which is great to me! You save perfume if you don’t have to spray it multiple times) but it’s definitely not too strong (and I say that as someone who gets headaches from certain scents), and to me it’s a pleasant yet sexy scent that seems pretty non-offensive. It has the perfect amount of jasmine, which is made sweeter by a light amber note (it is not to sweet, at all!), along with some woody notes and a hint of… mint? I’m not sure if mint is correct, but it just has this addictive quality of that keeps drawing you in. I can’t stop smelling my wrist!

Impression when sprayed on skin: smells minty and clean at first spray. After the dry down, the smell changes into something more warm but also sharp. Really enjoyed the initial spray! Contrary to other reviews where most say it has great longevity and bold scent, I find the longevity of the scent to be rather poor and the scent is more mellow. I'm reviewing this after reading up about it so I may have some expectations that were not met. Overall, I still very much enjoy the scent, probably 7-8/10. May or may not purchase a full bottle in the future.

It's just ok, have never smelled it before and wasn't sure what to expect. I think I might be judging it based on the season, maybe I'll like it more when it gets cooler. It's stronger than many others I have, but not in a good way, or at least I was annoyed by it for the first hour. I have hundreds of perfumes so I put this one on for the first time and went out and sat by my husband in the garage. He smelled it and said he liked it, and he doesn't comment on most of my perfumes, so I guess that counts for something.

The name “alien” is appropriate. It doesn’t smell like anything on earth. It’s weirdly piercing and harsh but also kind of sexy. It smells dark and mysterious and a little bit cool but super feminine. I’ve gotten compliments on it, but idk if that’s because I actually smell good or because it was so strong that people felt obligated to acknowledge it and didn’t know what else to say. I think the new version is lighter than the original.

Absolutely adore this scent got loads of compliments from it! And also lasts all day with Just a few sprays. Would definitely recommend going to save up for a bigger bottle.

It does start very sweet, but mellows out very nicely. It almost reminds me of clean laundry with a kick. This has been one I’ve used respeatedly.

At first spray and application I was not a fan. It smelled very soapy. But after a while it grew on me. Nothing special though and I couldn’t smell it on myself for very long. Although guests at work told me I smelled good so apparently I just could not Smell it on myself. Would not purchase full size tho.

This is a very delicate fragrance, after it sits for 30 minutes. The first 30 minutes of wearing is really intense, and I found it a little over-powering. I was hesitant to put it on right before leaving the house, in fear of making myself and others a little fragrance-sick. That being said, once it toned down, it was a very nice smell. It is definitely on the powdery side!

Not my favorite by Mugler, I'm 100% a Goddess girl. With that said, this is a really nice fragrance. It's not to sweet with just enough spice to make it alluring. Another plus is that it does not cause a headache the way some fragrances do. It's still a winner. It also does not have the staying power that Goddess has for me.

Strictly for JASMINE LOVERS . Very strong and long lasting however it’s not for me . I don’t enjoy the smell of jasmine that much and this is strictly jasmine . I’f you can deal with the smell of jasmine go for it … as it is long lasting

I really wanted to like this fragrance but on me it didn't work at all. The only way I can describe it was it smelled a little oily. It did last a long time on my skin but smelled better on my daughter so she now owns it! I have dry skin so that might have made a difference in how it reacted on me

I was nervous about picking this one based off the reviews. From what I’ve seen it’s a love it or hate it perfume. I’ve also had bad luck with Mugler perfumes in the past (angel). But that said I am so glad I got it because it is a beautiful perfume! I absolutely love it…can’t stop smelling myself.

Was so hopeful based on reviews but I didn't read enough reviews. This smells literally made me nauseous, and I had to shower again to go on with my day. It really hard to describe but the musky aspect really manages to capture both "baby powder meets old woman".

One of the worse perfumes I've smelled in a long time and I usually think the ones that smell like bug spray are the worse.This is a "Grandmas Sundays Best,White Diamonds Darlene ain't got nothing on me" type of fragrance.It starts really spicy,woody and strong and than dies off into this mellow spice scent.Idk exactly how to describe it but I tried to like it and I can't.It does last long.I spent the day smelling like spicy grandma.

Blindly spray tested this in the store and took a guess on what it was since i become obsessed with it. So glad i found it was this. It’s like a light floral smell with a hint of wood. Very natury and Good if your not that big of a floral person like me! Not too overpowering a lasts long.

Unique and sassy.

This is the first perfume in a long line of scents I’ve recently tried that I absolutely fell in love with. My coworkers couldn’t stop telling me how great I smelled. I love this so much that I have added it as one of my scents for next month as well. If you want something super sexy and complex, this will not disappoint.

LISTEN HERE! I'VE BEEN LOVING ALIEN FOR YEARS! MUGLER KNEW WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE WHEN THIS FRAGRANCE WAS CREATED! This is that "oh I'll take your man, your man, and your man", "You can pay this bill, you can pa this bill, here are the rest of my bills dear" fragrance. I don't think it is one that fits everyone's natural scent though. Like my sister wears it a little different than I do. However, Angel smells better on her than I. But to also be clear, she is more of the angel of the family and I really am like the Alien *inserts crying laughing emoji*. I love it and I highly recommend this one! To explain the difference between Angel and Alien, I would say Angel is more Airy and Alien is deeper/woodsy (very grown and sexy and about that coin).

It has a strong presence. A nice combination between sweet and woodsy. I would wear on a night out or special occasion.

I wanted to love this because of all of the reviews that I heard. Everyone list alien as a compliment getter, strong, intense, and unique. For me it was just a blast of jasmine. I don't hate it but I also don't love it. Also some people said this is too strong for work, it doesn't come off that strong to me. If you like jasmine then its definitely the scent for you. I just expected more from it after all of the hype. It's a still a nice scent but I wouldn't buy it, however if I got it as a gift then I wouldn't be mad at that. I am going to try Flora Futuna and the Sublime maybe I'll have a better chance with those.

Alien is definitely a “love it” or “hate it” fragrance, but I am definitely in the former camp. I love jasmine, and Alien is such a sexy jasmine fragrance. If jasmine or amber aren’t your thing, skip this one, but if the notes appeal to you, definitely give it a try!

All I can smell when I wear this is floral. Which isn't my favorite scent at all, I was hoping for a more woodsy smell similar to angel. I've only worn it twice though, so I'm trying to make it work. It does not last long on me, a couple hours tops.

You definitely have to love jasmine to like this fragrance because its a overload of jasmine that could sometimes come off as mentholated jasmine but since I like that it doesn’t bother me. This scent smells like what you'd think when you look at the bottle or read the description. The scent makes me think of dark purple. Dark purple berries and dark purple flowers. When you sniff your arm it is a bold scent but if you spray it its not like your going to stink up the whole office or anything. I'd say it lingers at arms length. If it was a drink, it would be delicious haha but as for me, it's not a scent that feels natural on me, it is too bold. I can see someone like Salma Hayek wearing this, someone with a bigger personality.

This scent is pretty much the scent you think of when walking into a department store. It’s petty, good for all age groups. It’s a safe perfume to give as a gift. To me it resembles a grape lollipop. It’s not the most amazing perfume, it’s not the most unique. But it is a pleasing classic, well formulated, and very high quality.

Long lasting and a tad powdery. If you are into mature scents, this is good to try. Rating it 3-stars for longevity and potency. However my 15 year old said it reminds her of her Oma (grandma). This is definitely NOT the fragrance I’m looking for, since I’m not even 40 yet!

A cult smell, incredibly memorable, and captivating. I smelled this on my mom as a kid and never forgot it. I am 30 years old now. Will always have this in my collection. It's probably not a smell for everyone, it's bold. If you like oriental and sexy scents, this is to go.

Strong & sexy

I'm a big fan of Mugler's Angel perfume and if you're a fan of that, know that this is in no way similar. It smells lovely, but I'm more neutral to it than anything. I could take it or leave it. As a smaller bottle, it's nice to have on hand, but aside from the aesthetic of the bottle itself, it's not worth purchasing on a large scale. Initially when you spray it, it smells a lot differently than when it's finally dried on your skin. It leaves a very subtle smell, however, there seems to be a fine line between the subtle smell and too much. This would be a good perfume for a work party, or the occasional date night, but I very much doubt it should be used as an every day all day perfume.

It’s amazing!!! After I receive my sent box, I purchased the biggest bottle of Alien right away, they have great deals right now. This smell is so comforting, so beautiful I’m in love.... can’t stop smelling it. LITERALLY!! I would always spray some, even when I go to sleep, I even sprayed a little bit inside of my masks ??, so I can enjoy the smell all the time! Thank you guys for having this fragrance ??

Not a flattering scent smells like an older woman

Deep, almost smokey and woodsy, with a kiss of vanilla. I wasn't sure I would like this one, even though I love Mugler's Angel fragrance. This is like the darker step sister to Angel and I really enjoyed it. It's a great fragrance for fall/winter and cooler temps as it has warm vanilla notes as well. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Lovely fragrance

One of my all time favorites perfumes. When my day needs a pick me up I use just a small amount. Just enough so I feel better. The aroma is strong but it makes you smile knowing the scent will linger with you.

Pretty nice

Very strong and sweet in the beginning but then it fades to a more comfortable fragrance, or maybe it’s just because you go nose blind. The smell reminds me of Joop cologne. Sillage is very very strong I am almost a bit insecure while wearing this because of the sillage. Who wants to be that person that fills a whole room up with their fragrance, no one wants to be that annoying. For that reason I only use this very sparingly. I can’t really describe the top notes just sweet. Once top notes dissipate it has a baby powder undertone at least on my skin. Base notes are woody. It is a sexy fragrance it just happens to be really strong. I really don’t know if I like this fragrance or not, I think it’s because the fragrance is all over the place on my skin and with my body chemistry. It is nice and it does smell different on my husband than it does on me. If you’ve been wanting to try it go ahead maybe you’ll like it. The perfume does last a very long time at least 12 hours.

Before you get excited to try this absolutely raved about perfume, it's important to know that in October 2019, L'Oreal bought Thierry Mugler and reformulated Alien and Angel. This new formula is more powdery and soapy than the last formula and doesn't last as long. I was hoping that I would receive the old formula through scentbox but unfortunately, it's the new formula. Not to say that this is a bad scent; if you love jasmine scents PLEASE try this out. But just know that if you came here because a youtuber recommended it to you, they are most likely talking about the old formulation of Alien, not this new one.

This is my all-time favorite perfume. It has such a unique and long lasting smell it’s kind of hard to describe. It’s very feminine and not feminine at the same time… Very modern and very classic at the same time. I really don’t know how to describe it but I really love it

I hated this at first spray but after giving it a second shot and wearing it for a day I loved it! This is the longest lasting scent I’ve gotten so far and the smell is definitely unique in a way that you just can’t decide at first sniff. When I wore it to work I got sooooo many compliments the minute I walked in. I sprayed a little in my hair and loved that I could smell it every time I redid my bun literally until I washed it out. No fade whatsoever.

This is a very unique smelling perfume. I wasn’t a fan of it but I couldn’t stop smelling it at the same time. I can’t quite describe it. It’s not as feminine as I would’ve liked but it’s definitely unique!

When first putting on this scent it is a little strong, for me personally almost head ache inducing if I am not careful. I do like the scent overall. I would say that the scent leans slightly mature as there is a powderiness to it. I don't think that I will be buying this in a full size but it was fun to try it.

It is a confusing scent. Not sure if it smells like a doctor's office tissue paper roller thing, or a beautiful garden with fancy drinks and a picnic. I don't know, sort of has an underlying powdery smell like Babysoft from my childhood. I exchanged it, despite really wanting to love it.

There’s something so subtle yet bold about this fragrance. It makes me feel very sexy without being overwhelming. Not too flowery either, one of my favorite scents right now.

Beautiful opening similar to Joe Malone Mimosa & Cardamom, but I'm not a fan of the dry down. There was a strong lingering amber note that made me nauseated. Didn't last overnight on my skin, but it lasted days on my clothes. I can tell it's a high quality fragrance, but just not for me.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I loved this at first spray. I love the amber and the woods with the darkness of the jasmine sambac. This is one of the strongest and longest lasting fragrances I own, one spray is enough.

Love this scent. It's feminine but not to sweet or overpowering. It lasts till the end of my work and I've gotten many compliments on it.

I couldn't decide on this one for awhile. After testing it 5 times, I finally came to read what other reviewers had to say. At least one said that it smells like bug spray, and it sure does to me. I do give it credit for being strong, and long lasting, so if that it what you are looking for, and it works better on you.. this one might be your girl.

I actually liked this fragrance. I received it with “chloe,Chloe” . What I like to do is mix them together! Try it , you won’t regret it!!

The very first time I sprayed this. I hated it! At first it smells like algae, but after a while it warms into my skin, and the algae smell disappears. I have learned to like it and can appreciate the smell. I don’t get very many compliments on it. But I still wear it because I like the way it settles into my skin. It doesn’t fill a room, but I can still smell it faintly on my arm at the end of the day.

Love this scent. I'm normally a light, floral, and amber kind of girl but this is a perfect selection outside my norm. It is very strong - therefore one good spray would last all day. Great selection if you are looking to try something different.

Whoever says this isn’t long lasting is so wrong. This is the longest lasting perfume I’ve ever tried. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s very strong at first spray. I definitely prefer the dry down of this.

I love this fragrance! it's feminine but bold and leaves a nice scent trail. It smells like a girl who studies hard, gets good grades but goes a little wild on the weekends. I only need 3 sprays to last all day and I think it's fabulous.

This Fragrance is quite a phenomenon, One cant describe the complexities, Its sharp, I smell grapefruit a bit. Then later hints of a mild vanilla and musk. its captivating and I highly recommend it. The irony Is I love Mugler but I hated Angel, This is nothing like angel so give Mugler a second chance I'm glad I did!

I absolutely love this fragrance! My best friend used to wear this as her signature scent and I had to get some for myself. It’s lasting power surprised me, great longevity. It’s a little less potent than I remember but nevertheless I love!

Love this one! Alien is very strong and floral. It demands attention & is perfect for the woman who wishes to attract just that. In my opinion it’s not as “unique” as others seem to say it is, it’s just the perfect unadulterated blend of beautiful florals with a hint of warm woodsy/musk that can be hard to find in a scent. I personally love it and could see myself wearing it year-round for many different occasions. Very very sexy.

My all time favorite scen6. I've been wearing this for 5 years However, it's a hit or miss as far as the longevity of the scent (how long you can smell it on you without reapplying throughout the day. This bottle was average, however that's not scent boxes fault . I love the pink bottle it came in. My only complaint is with the website. I find it difficult to maneuver through and nearly impossible to change selections or add them. I'm still not able to do this from my smart phone. I love Alien and am overall happy with the subscription with Scent Box. Definitely try this if you haven't, you will love Alien. Its classic, timeless and romantic. Your significant other will complaint you wearing it. I get a ton of compliments daily on this scent. Men and women are turned on by the scent!

I wanted to love this, i was told the hints of jasmine would smell like another scent I love that’s been discontinued. It’s a unique scent, but doesn’t have enough sweet or musky notes for me, the floral version might be better.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALIEN!!!! I have been wanting to but Alien for a while but it’s so expensive. I’m sad to say I started my journey with a different perfume subscription and it was not good. They didn’t have the few scents I wanted. Then I found Scentbox and they have every scent I LOVE including Alien! I subscribed immediately and ordered Alien! This scent is strong, long lasting and sexy! It’s such a unique and beautiful warm and seductive scent! You won’t be disappointed I promise!!! I am so happy ?? Very strong smelt like old lady perfume to me

This is my first Alien accent and at first I was very put off wasn't sure if it was for me. After wearing it on my skin for and entire day I fell in love. It's a stronger masculine smell at first then once it blends with your natural body smells it's very captivating. Its not for the faint of heart and definitely much different the normal perfumes but I love that it's strange and different. Such a good pick!

Smells too much of jasmine.

Not a horrible smell, reminds me of the smell of cream soda and a wintery smelling candle all in one. I would not say this is an all year round kind of scent. If it were lighter I may like this but sadly it isn’t for me.

Love this so much. It is very different. It doesn't smell like any other perfume that I have in my collection. It has a sort of mystery to it. Sometimes it smells spicy. Sometimes powdery. A bit floral. A bit gourmand. It is really what it says on the tin: alien. It is very unique and sumptuous.

I like the scent,but found it didn't last too long. Maybe I didn't use enough? Not sure,but nice fragrance.

5 stars does not do this beautiful scent justice. It is phenomenal.

I can't decide if I really like this fragrance or not. It's just somewhere in the middle for me. One second I think I enjoy it and the next I don't. To me it almost smells like black licorice and I hate black licorice. But there's other spices going on with it too that sort of warp that scent. I definitely feel like it's oriental and a bit sweet. I could easily imagine going to a shop and finding incense sticks that smells like this.

I like it, I think this is a nice date night fragrance (although my husband doesn’t really like it). It’s definitely Jasmine forward and ‘sexy’ it’s a little bit of a statement scent without being overpowering and super strong.

I love that this is such a unique and sexy scent. I usually gravitate toward light, sweet, floral scents and I wanted something different. This was described as a head-turner, so I was anxious to try it. I was not disappointed! I am really enjoying it and plan to get the full size bottle.

I really like this fragrance. Very nice. I think it works well with my chemistry. This is easy one of my favorites.

I loved this perfume several years ago but it doesn't work with my skin chemistry anymore or perhaps has been reformulated. It still has great sillage and longevity. The amber and woods are so warm and sexy, but the jasmine is very indolic. Highly recommend for those who prefer the scent of jasmine absolute over jasmine sambac.

I honestly did not feel that this stood out much as unique. It felt very basic fall type to me. By boyfriend liked it a tad more than the armani code though. I prefer scents that are more unique. Scents you cannot duplicate easily. It lasts about 2 to 3 hours on me only spraying on the back of my neck. I don't hate it but I will save it only as a work perfume.

It’s such a lovely sweet Woody smell. It’s such a warming smell. That type of smell you like smelling on women when you want some comfort. I’d say it’s an all age perfume but preferably for young moms between the age of 24-36. It last a long and one or two sprays does the trick

This is one of my new favorites. I get amber, jasmine, and powdery notes that are feminine, clean, and fit my chemistry nicely.

It's taken me many times of wearing this to decide if I like it or not because of it's uniqueness. I do like it. In fact, now I've decided I like it a lot. However, for some reason, the scent to me is so different from how others describe. I don't think of this as a "sexy" perfume, or one that I would wear out on a date or for a night out on the town. Actually the opposite. I like to wear this if I'm going to be doing something wear I'll probably get dirty! ?? Like..I'll wear it if I go camping, or fishing, or to watch a baseball game.

I have wanted to try this perfume after reading reviews about it and I did purchase a small bottle online from a different store and I was disappointed... it didn't smell at all as described nor did it last very long. So, when I received it from ScentBox, I was bummed... however, I twisted the bottle and 1 spray later I was in love with Alien! It lasted all day and when I got home I layed down next to my sleeping fiancee, he woke saying "you smell delicious!!!" Our thanks to the designer and to SCENTBOX! ??

Woodsy spicey like it for evening

Was definitely expecting something more unique ( I never used anything made by Thierry Mugler before and was solely relied on excellent reviews both from many You tube bloggers and from fellow ScentBox customers) This fragrance doesn't really make feel sexy or even somewhat special and I've already used it twice. At the same time, smell doesn't seem irritating or annoying therefore, I probably won't exchange it since my other scent from this month left me even more disappointed and will be exchanged hopefully. i still keep my hopes high for the warm summer nights and more compliments along the way

I absolutely loved this!!! It smelt this scent on a coworker and had been wanting it ever since but just didn’t know what it would smell like on me. Giving the price I wanted to try it out first. Really wasn’t disappointed the smell is amazing name forts perfectly it’s out of this world .

Not bad, just not for me.

The scent is nice. Give it a second or so to settle and it becomes really nice. To me it’s more feminine than androgynous but I liked that. The only issue is that the scent doesn’t last as long as I would like for it to. Other than that, this is one I could add to my regular rotation.

If only this fragrance smelled as it is described. I this it smells like mosquito repellent.

This is a powerful grown woman scent. I feel the age for this fragrance starts early to mid 20s for sure. That being said the scent is beautiful and layered with a more sweet scent makes it more wearable if you feel it's intimidating to wear.

I love Thierry Mugler “Angel” that is why I decided to try this one by Thierry Mugler. My feelings on this one are that it is not my absolute favorite, but I also don’t hate it. I definitely smell the jasmine, but to me it smells more like gardenia or maybe magnolia. It is a nice scent.... my feelings are neutral.

I'm not a fan of this. As another reviewer posted, there is something bug-spray-esque about this fragrance. It also smells more mature. Definite woody notes, which makes it smell heavy. There is really nothing to lighten it up. I understand why some reviewers consider this a sexy scent, as it reminds me of evenings in front of an open fire, but it's not one of my favs.

I really didn't like the scent it was extremely flowery for me. The scent over all last a long time...it just didn't grown on me.

But there's a bug spray smell I pick up with this one that I do not like at all. Lasts very long the bug spray scent I get on opening it wears off to middle .

I really enjoyed this scent! I thought it was very light and fruity.

The scent itself wasn't anything mind boggling personally, but the power! I could barely move a finger without being hit with a wave of powdery flowers. Even after a shower, I could still smell faint traces. Ironically, it was far more palatable after trying to wash it off. A bit too finicky for me. Scent: 3 Staying power: 5

I didn't ended up liking this as much as I thought I would. The discripton had me thinking not was going to smell completely different.

I get it now!! I tried this scent sprayed on a cardboard test strip at Macy's and it smelled like bug spray, and I questioned why everyone raves about it. I then decided to give it another try, and on the skin it is SO DIFFERENT! It is warm and powdery, the jasmine top note is delicious and the amber base is so sexy. I just keep sniffing myself over and over.
